You are such a true craftsman and an inspiration. Whether it was digging out for your triphammer foundation or building your greenhouse and finishing your new workshop, you always have outstanding content to go along with your forging magic. Truly someone I would like to share time and ideas with. Thank you.
Wow, thank you!
@@torbjornahman Remarkable work as usual! I love bears, (I'm a little like them!) You sell the patches you make?
@@Tictac-37 the patches are for a giveaway
@@Tictac-37 not for sale per se, but he said, "for the lucky losers" they'll be available on his patreon page.
when the saw blade came out I got a little nervous. But what a ingenious solution for that operation. Beautiful job!
Your parents and teachers are all very proud of you. I'm proud and I don't even know you but marvel at your creativity and artistry. You are an inspiration to everyone.
Very impressive my friend all the tooling and different ways to accomplish hurdles. The saw blade spacer was absolutely brilliant well done! 👊🏻👏🔥⚒🔥⚒👍🏻
The solution with the saw blade is just BRILLIANT! )
Thanks! I have seen something similar but can't remember where now...
I was really "wtf NO, DONT SO THAT!! ooh wait that's really smart"
I used two expresions. WHAT?!!! And. OHHH!!!
I didn't understand that part 😔
Low's Peak Goods he uses the saw blade like a pantograph, every space between teeth was replicated over the piece
I was having a tough time figuring out how you'd get the leather stamped. Very creative and nice work as always. Congratulations on 500K subscribers, that is a significant milestone.
I can't believe you don't have billions of viewers. It's nice working for a shop foreman that is willing to help you with the garden. 🥰
:) Thanks!
Can only dream to have such a lot of materials and being able to use that too.
Always great to see you working
When the counting plate for the "Spindexer" was being fitted I was shouting, "No, Thunder Bear, no! It's too dangerous. We'll buy you a table saw!" Sheer genius, my friend.
I thought the same thing, whew
My thoughts exactly! Had a table saw accident almost 2 years ago and I have recovered fully, so these kind of things always make me cringe. But yes, genius move :)
Can you tell me at which position this happens?
You beat me to it. I was shouting at the computer “Nooo don’t do it!!”

Man, when you take this sawblade and mounted it to the lathe. Never frighten the community and me like that again! Lovely tools as always. And all the best for the next 500 000.
First, i was "Wait, that's not were you put tools" and after "That's divider is cheap as hell and it work so well......GENIUS!" and change of topic, i love your Ankarsrum wood stove it look so cool!

Love the ingenuity you use in your projects. Old (and new!!!) skills like these are difficult to come by and more so the attention to detail you show in your work. You are a true artisan of your craft
The legendary Thunder Bear strikes again! Congratz and thank you for sharing your talents.
Wow!! A lot of intricate work went in to making those patches! Using the saw blade as a gauge was genius!! You are an artist!! BTW, congrats on achieving 500k subscribers!! I really enjoy your videos!!!
He used it as an indexer
That’s freakin awesome, and glad you garden as well! My grandparents always kept a garden, taught us, and canning too. Love your work, always unique!
ich bin 50 Jahre und gelernter Maschinenbaumeister - aber eine solche Fräskonstruktion habe ich auch noch nicht gesehen 👍😂👌
absolut Top
Truly a Rennaisance man, accomplished in multiple arts, including being a caring father and all around decent guy. Your popularity is well-deserved, but don’t let it go to your head!
You can’t get any better than this. Hand made leather patches made before our eyes by a craftsman who enjoys his hobbie. Great work and beautiful patch.
Totally awesome! From the forge, into the lathe..love it!
Your videos make my day, every time.
500k... well deserved. Congratulations.
Nice to see someone putting this much effort in to showing support for their fans. Fantastic work sir , it's a pleasure to watch your work and see the beautiful end result. Love from Canukastan.....
I am glad that I laid a brick, supporting your interesting channel. I am glad the UA-cam community appreciates your hard work. Greetings from Poland to all blacksmith crafts lovers.
Thanks!
You always take it to the next level, make the punch to cut the leather, it was like watching a watchmaker when you used the saw blade. It's always fantastic watching you work and build things from scratch. Stay well, and thanks!
I watched the video specifically to see how you would punch the holes for the patch in such a perfect circle. I was not disappointed.
Congrats, Thunder Bear! Life has been nuts for 6 months and I’m just now getting to watch what I’ve missed.
That rusty saw blade divider is one of the most genial contraptions I ever laid my eyes on. And as always: splendid work, Sir!
You sir it's a master in your craft and also to others about how to manage life, I salute you with regards to your family and thanking for all your professional works and care for details...there's no explanation needed and always the best quality. ..keep up the good work you Viking !!!
I tried to watch this video last night, but fell asleep. I'm not sure what it is but the power hammer puts me out every time. Your videos are so relaxing. I love them all!!
I love your videos. Your craftsmanship is impressive, to say the least. Moreover, your videos' no commentary and peaceful quietness intertwined with brief yet comforting scenes of everyday life give them an ethereal, even Asgardian quality.
Your patience and attention to detail is unparalleled, keep upmyhe excellent work! 👍
Absolutely brilliant! All of it! The Idea, the making process and of course the filming and editing - true artist and craftsman! Wish you 1mil subs soon! :)
Congratulations on your first half a million subscribers. The unique form of therapy your channel provides will no doubt guarantee many more!
Certainly these molds were one of his best elaborated works. Congratulations.
i was asking myself where it will lead with the scary saw blade mounting, eh, that's a brilliant trick :) congrats for the 500 k, now we just need to awaiting the first million :)
Fantastic I’m gonna head over there right now.
I watch a lot of channels that work with wood, metal, leather, and things like that, and for the first time I went "WOW" out loud. The amount of effort and patience you put into your projects is absolutely unrivaled.
Thank you so much!!
You sir, are a genius. This opened my mind to a whole new world.
..it may be time to make some more of those dies and get an arbor press for multiples.. Ya might have to incorporate the kiddos into this venture...
That is really cool! Congratulations of half a million. That's a decently sized city.
Leather is such a nice material. You can char the scraps and use them as tinder with a fire striker.
You're a man after my own heart. I really enjoy all the things you make!!👍🏼👍🏼
who needs a "giveaway", sharing your knowledge is more then enough :)
Congratulations on the milestone. Always find great peace and enjoyment in watching you work and create your fantastic projects. The stamp and patches look fantastic. There will be 10 very lucky people receiving those. Thanks for the opportunity and all the best.
Sawblade dividing head....Genius.
Love how everything is handcrafted
Being a maker, this is nice that you use many different techniques to build the mold and the patches. And good luck building the many many patches for the future!
Thank you very much!
Congratulations on a half million subscribers!! ⚒️
Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing. You are not only a great blacksmith, more importantly it looks like you are a great father.
Brilliant Sir. RESPECT. This man just deserves a million subscribers.
In 1 Word: Perfekt!!
Using a circular saw blade for an indexing device is brilliant.
Congratulations, TA! I can understand why you have so many subscribers. You are a great craftsman and super fun to watch.
Thank you very much!
Lovely contradiction!, so cute, still forging steel but has an automated lawn mower, it's like a police officer taking up ballet class, love your videos
Very nice, this is a pretty Well thought giveaway. Your Projects are always so good done craftsmanship. 👍💪
So awesome that you've gotten to this level of fame. Unfortunately, I don't use Instagram, but I wish you all the success with your projects. I've really enjoyed them. Been a subscriber for a couple years now... Always love to see the new content!
Dude i am floored. You have the tools and skills for machining, wood working, leather working and metallurgy. This kind of shop is what i strive to one day build.
seeing how you have not only a forge, but also a garden and greenhouse makes me think you and your family are well prepared for the craziness that's happening now. hope you and your family are safe in this trying time.
Fantastic job, as always! You'll probably get tired of making leather patches, as everyone will want one, I believe!

I had no idea a 3d printed die would be strong enough! Looks great
Surprisingly strong! It's not even solid.
Looks like there isn't anything you can't do. Great garden too by the way. Your helper looks to be an expert.
Amazing. I never would have thought to use a saw blade as a dividing head. Also, those patches are lovely.
That’s a very clever way of using the saw blade as a divider.
Yeah, it is!
Ah, so this is how Iron Man made his suit. Really. Thanks for the vid. I know knothing about metal works but after watching this, I'm gonna start learning. It looks like hard work but the end product is worth it.
As someone who works in a business making professional leather and metal stamps out of steel and brass, it's nice to see someone devoting the time to making their own from scratch. Nice work!
Thanks
I really like your sense of staging and
your visual humor.
I absolutely love watching you work. The solution with the saw blade to mark out the teeth was genius. Still waiting for you to make some garden shears :)
Wow, there are some real clever people in this world. I'm really happy for you to have reached the amount of subscribers you have (you now have another one), a talent like yours should be shared. Well done 👍
It makes me happy to see that one of the oldest professions - the smith with its forge - is still existent. For me a smith needs on one side the muscle power and technical knowledge how to forge the metal - which ever that may be. On the other side a smith also needs an eye for art and beauty as well as forging every day materials for buildings, doors, windows etc. So congrats to 500k. And that leather stamping is nice. Just found you and subscribed and liked. Keep on going. Your skill is awesome. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill here. Please stay healthy and safe.
Thank you!!!
Makers make their own tools and make their own methods. Your work is excellent.
Всегда смотрю с удовольствием, каждое видео это шедевр . Желаю удачи и процветания вашему делу!
Congratulations on the 500k, well deserved! That is a very interesting indexing head you got there. :-) Super nice tool, I enjoy the process.
Thanks! :) :) Yes, I have seen something like that with the saw blade somewhere but can't remember where... so it's not my invention. But it works quite well!
Blacksmith, wood work, leather work, toolmaker, CAD technician, gardener and dad! Did I miss anything?😆 congratulations on hitting 500k subscribers. Great videos from a great tradesman. Keep up the good work 👍🤘
Thanks 👍
Congratulations for your 500K! It's an amazing achievement! To the 1M!
This is the most amazing thing I've seen in a while. Olde worlde meets the new! I love the sewing machine hammer!
When you 3D printed the bear logo I thought you were going to make a mould and cast it in metal thus making a branding iron to emboss the patches. Guess I was wrong. Good work, keep em coming!
The way you indexed your lathe was so ingenious, I was so confused as to why you were attaching a sawblade on the other side until I realized. Incredible lol from me.
This guy gets it.
Makes tooks, Make kids, grows food. This is what our children should be looking up to. Good job Man and keep crushing!!!!
Thanks!!
I like how you know when to calculate a precise measurement and when to just “eyeball” it lol
Damn bro, thats some nice hack with that saw blade
Before seeing that hack, I was like what he gonna do with a saw blade.
Your small little hacks make me do something productive.
Thanks!
