I always dislike it when the instant demote unit isn't a quest reward, and that tends to happen when the OCs take up a slot on the new heroes banners. Also, three Dorothea alts before her base version becomes a thing has to be a new record.
Not to mention Dorothea has a freakon harmonic alt that will likely get a refine soon, meanwhile Caspar only has a prfless summer alt that has zero chances of ever getting a refine, so all the people complaining about Dorothea having it worse than Caspar really have no idea what they're talking about. This makes me think of all the people still complaining about Kagero not being good anymore with all the powercreeping going on, even though she, of all people, got not one, but TWO duo alts that will be getting refines in the future, meanwhile majority of the fates cast barely gets much with how characters like Saizo and Effie only got prfless grail alts with modern stats at best, and, dare I say it again, no chances at getting a refine. It just shows that people only care when certain characters aren't treated well above others.

You know, the summoning pool too bloated when I actually decided to use my last spark on another copy of Dorothea for a merge, then another copy of Rearmed Marianne. I was seriously debating with myself over this. One side was like, "Be smart and get another Marianne," while the other was like, "Get Dorothea because there's a good chance you won't get another merge in months."
I gave arcane blutgang to spring chloé with emblem sigurd moonbow and its super fun!!! Hope we get a rlly good nfu arcane sword for my fav ayra!!! I rlly hope it has spd flat dr!!!
I’m glad Marianne’s trademark effect is a pseudo dance, it guarantees that her alts will be pretty unique. I put far trace echo on her and have been using her well in SD, she’s the only unit that can do an assist and then refresh a different unit, and her nuking does come up, also her art is so good. Art wise she’s such an upgrade from Brave. It’s weird they took so long but I’m glad blutgang is finally here, it being a red tome is fun too because it means I can give a sword to a red tome unit.
Another suggestion for the 5 other max invest Metodey builders, I gave mine Atk/Spd Prime 4, Special Spiral 4, Incite Atk/Spd, and Lethality. He can go pretty crazy if he has the right allies with him. Halloween Askr, Niðavellir, and Heiðrún are a handful of units I like to run with him. Edit: I just remembered: Nergal would be hilarious to run on Metodey, especially of you're fighting people who give themselves ten thousand non-stat buffs.

Yes of course, a little bit of overlap is no big deal. Ploy also gives other status penalties for support :)

I was incredibly dumb and completely forgot that the super repo can’t be given to fliers, all those claims about giving it to r!marianne are going down the drain, it’s so frustrating to give her stuff as a fodder factor since ranged fliers have the most restrictions when it comes to foddering; I’ll still deck her out with the most stacked skills I possibly can tho
What about a Resonance build for Dorothea? Thinking of foddering a copy of E!Celica to R!Sonya so Dorothea can get both Resonance 4 and Atk/Res Ploy from her Atk Res Finish 4 isn't an option for a Laguz Friend or Resonance build? I like her being able to heal herself when her special triggers
Yes, Finish can also be run. Her Res is absurdly high so not running Crystalline Water is fine at that level. Resonance can be run but ultimately she is not going to ideally be in much combat and if she is going to be in combat then LF4 is strictly better for her survival in that said combat. For everything else in between, Spd/Res Discord is superior for support + giving her true dmg!

It can work if you are going for a meme build but realistically, I would say no. It would be a waste unless you are swimming in Reinhardts which you are not. Problem is not only Dorothea's Spd is mediocre but Arcane Thunder itself is a very mediocre weapon. Something like Magical Lantern+ would be more useful in helping her mobility.
I would GLADLY switch barracks with the person who summoned all those Ashes lol. I've only summoned 4 including the spark and I have 11 Caspar. This banner has given me 12 pity breakers and only 7 focus, including the traffic light guarantees, but those have almost all been red units 💀
Arcane Thunder is still good for Dorothea. She has plenty of spd to win the check against slow units which are really the only ones that even run follow-up denial.
I'm about to reach 40/40 and I'm not sure who to grab. I've had really shitty luck on this banner so I don't have anyone yet. I wanted Ashe (bc I like him), Dagr (bc she has the accessory), and Marianne (because she's rearmed). I'm not sure who to pick for my 40/40, I don't think I'll keep summoning afterwards ...

She can do that with Euphoria's Guaranteed Follow-up too but she will need 5 more spd than the foe.
True, but then she's not stopping the guaranteed followup from those slow goes. Plus, I really like the extra special charges that Thunder provides.

Marianne is high value bc re-armed and she’s unique (if you run a canto skill she’s basically a dancer dancer) Ashe you might get randomly
I would probably go for Dagr. She is the better unit out of the two and has the bird...which I cannot leave like that haha
