  • Special effects makeup can be a lot of fun, but where do you start? Let's go over how to apply products safely, how to remove product safely, and what exactly special effects makeup products are.
Always remember if you are trying out a new type of makeup especially special effects makeup that you need to do a patch test. You need to make sure you are not allergic to the products you are using. If you feel any sort of burning with any products that you're using you need to take it off and immediately clean your skin.
Certain special effects makeup products can be only applied to certain areas of your body. It is extremely important that you read all information on where and how to apply this makeup or this product before you go and put it on your body. A lot of special effects makeup you should not put on your lips, near your eyes, over your eyes, or towards any mucosa membranes on your body. Special effects makeup should be fun, not something that causes you pain.
