It's two parts Vaseline 1 part flour and the more foundation you use the harder it is to work with. Put that on after the scar is in place do ur cut and then blend your make-up to it.
How would you measure that in cups..?😅 just to know because I’m preparing for halloween and instead of buying the actual wax I want to know how to do it properly
About liquid latex: To people who have latex allergies applying liquid latex could be life threatening. Also people can have a latex allergy and not know it .
That’s why I use this method for my little brother, I remember reacting so badly as a child to liquid latex that I don’t want to put that on his skin but he still wants his Halloween makeup to look realistic
I never used a wax like that. Mostly what I do is liquid latex, cotton balls, toilet paper and for bigger cuts and lacerations paper towels. I have used women's makeup to soften the edges and for the deep colors in the deepest part of the cut. I do like how you can make your gashes, cuts, abrasions and burns a little easier but again I use liquid latex Mostly and have excellent results
So you stick the cotton balls with liquid latex? I want to try this and I have liquid latex but I'm not sure how Please help I want to bring my chicks. To the level of my nose
Thank you for sharing have one question- do I need to apply a spirit gum on the skin before applying the putty? I understand it drop off if swearing occurs. Any solution for that?
Can I use it to cover my self harm scar?? I don't wanna make any scar out of it but actually want to cover the scar I have. Can I?? If not please tell me how to cover. Thank you
Sending you love! I have that kind of scarring as well. ❤️❤️ I’d think this would work, but you have to put liquid latex on your skin first to prevent any body moisture from melting the putty off of your skin. Dermablend or any tattoo concealing makeup will be best for covering any discoloration or making the putty match your skin. Make sure it’s safe to use though! Some of that stuff might still have metal in it. Be well, friend! Love yourself. You deserve it.
@@mesquitetejas8328 I made mine like 2 or more years ago and it is in the same exact condition from when I made it no weird smell or changes, just make sure to keep it clean in a tight container (I made a decent amount)

@@annawyshynski4914so one cups flour, two cups Vaseline!

I think you got it backwards. When I used those measurements, it was way too sticky still.
Sorry but IT IS mutch to soft .🙄

People should definitely do a small patch of latex before using it for stuff like this, to test it out.
Yeah, always a good idea to do small tests for anything that is meant to go on your skin :)

It will melt at warm temperatures
If I don’t have that kind of flour ..can I use rice flour or other kinds instead?
Yes I think it should work. Start with a small batch just to make sure !
use any skin adhesive to have the wax stick better!!
Yes! I mention that. You forsure need latex, spirit gum or prosaid for additional stick!
@@summer.stockwell i’m really regretting not buying the latex along with scar blood 😅
@@summer.stockwell i have rly good lash glue, could that work?
Adhesive will not help that much, as the vaseline will repel any adhesive. You can see as she scrapes it off.
Pretty cool!
Does it dry completely?
No it won’t bc it has Vaseline
Will this work as a way to reshape your face, say maybe a lumpy forehead or something like that? Thank you
Ok I tried it but why it doesn't dry on the skin?😭 Like it should stay this way??? It gets ruin then if I suddenly touch that spotttt!!!
Thank you for sharing have one question- do I need to apply a spirit gum on the skin before applying the putty? I understand it drop off if swearing occurs. Any solution for that?
Did you figure this out?
Yes! That or liquid latex
Strange question, I’m sure but would this be pliable, similar to silicone mold for resin?
As someone with chronic dry skin and contact dermatitis, that dry cracked hand in the thumbnail gave me a primal reaction LUL
This will not store well at all. The flour will mold. If you make it, only make a small amount.
Omg Thank you so much this help me so much thank you very much 😊
Thanks a lot
Will try this
No problem!!

Btw you may want to consider laser treatment to remove your scar so you don’t have to deal with all the makeup!!
Will self rising flour work?
Yes I tried it

Can this be painted?

Can i paint over it??
Yesss

can you use aquaphor instead of vaseline?
Yes !
How does this dry and set??
It doesn't really dry. I put liquid latex over it once I apply and that helps set it.
@@summer.stockwell I love that smooth look!!!
I recognise these brands and it's obvious that this person lives in Canada
