The day before the Old School Kingfish Tournament here in St. Augustine Fl, I land my P. B. Kingfish by 7:30 A.M.. She gave me quite a fight.

Nice job!! I grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach and used to take that A1A to St. Augustine to hang out when it was a place hidden from the rest of the world. Hopefully, all the transplants did not ruin St. Augustine. Miss fishing at home and watching the sun come up off the beach in the mornings.

Nice kingfish you got there. I have caught my fair share and he's a solid 30 pounds. My PB is 42 lbs caught at the bell bouy outside Ponce Inlet. Good luck in the tournament!

Edited: I fat fingered the reel model. I did not proofread before I hit send. It is a Shimano TLD.
Shimano TLD on a Diawa Dark Water kingfish edition live bait rod. 20lb mono to 20lb fluorocarbon leader, then 40lb seven strand wire.
