Fishing St. Augustine Jetties In The CAROLINA SKIFF 162 JLS (Shark Tries To Get In The Boat)

- After being off the water for far too long, I decided to take the first opportunity I had to run out to the jetties and bend a rod. The conditions were far from ideal and I had a big BULL SHARK try and get in the boat with me but other than that....lol, I had a great time just being on the water again and getting tight.

That was a black margate. Good to see you back on the water.
Hi Tom,
Thanks, yes it was good to finally get back out. How are Margates as far as table fare?

Hi JB man,
I have caught both fish before but I catch them so infrequently I get them confused...lol.
Nice to see you back in your element.
Thanks Oz,
If the weather cooperates I plan to head out this week. Hopefully we run into each other out on the water.
Tight lines 🤙 🎣

Hey buddy. Been a long time. I hope your doing well.
How much did it cost to get those tan mats installed and what are they called and where did you get them installed at? Thanks beautiful boat.
Castaway Customs in St. Augustine installed the Seadek on my boat. It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 2K. That included coming to my house to measure the boat and install it. Up until then, my 162 JLS was their first. I would assume you can get it for less as they now have the measurements on file. Here is a link of the before and after I had the Seadek installed. I hope this helps.
