Question? It says 4/4 time. But if it is played with triplets. Wouldn't that make it in 12/8 time? Not sure.

Great question! Many beginners find this confusing. 12/8 time doesn't mean four triplets per measure, but rather twelve normal eighth notes simply grouped together in threes. If I write four triplets per measure, that is still a 4/4 time signature.
