    I love autumn it’s my favorite time of the year. For me winter is a time of reflection, letting go of the old and dead to make room for the new and start new beginnings. Seeing the beauty in the old dying and bringing forth new is very enlightening ❤

      Exactly. New Year's Day is actually one of my favorite holidays even though nothing actually happens on it just because I love the symbolic feeling of the fresh start. Of course, then there's two more months of winter to get through, but still...the feeling. :)

      I used to get bored a lot when I was a kid, but that was only because my parents were very restrictive and I wasn't allowed to pursue a lot of my interests. Since becoming an adult and being free to explore, boredom is a long forgotten sensation.

    Well you opened a can of worms in this one. I've had a couple of what I call spiritual experiences and would agree there are many dimensions and we are connected to and part of all of them. The "void" is both the eternal rest and infinite possibilities, so no doubt left a profound impact, and don't we always tend to fear what we don't understand or control? Anyways...you're a complex guy and I appreciate it. No wonder you're so creative. Enjoy your quiet time.

    • @OuterEdgeOutpost
      @OuterEdgeOutpost  9 місяців тому +2

      Yeah as I was talking about this I was kinda surprised to notice that the "void" seemed to connect (in my mind anyway) to both the ideas of oblivion and creativity, which would appear to be opposites. I guess it just feels like whatever it is, it's a "source" of some kind, or a barrier between sources, or a center axis that it all orbits around, like the black hole in the center of our galaxy.

    I had a strange thing happen to me, similar to what you were talking about. But it was more in a meditative state. I saw what I can only explain as aura. It was wonderful but I didn't want to slip in to deep or into fear of the unknown because it wasn't like that but so unfamiliar, yet so familiar if that make sense. so I retreated. From my research on spirituality it's called awakening. Starting to wake up to where we really came from. A spiritual being in a human experience. A space where time stops and we can enter and come back as often as we want. It's been 4 months since my experience and I'm not ready to go back there now but it is intriguing to me and interesting how many people have had similar experiences. As time goes on and more things show up like this video I am starting to feel a little less uneasy about it.. I love your explanation of the winter feels... lots of Stews, tea, comfy blankets and fur babies and sinking in to the comforts of it. An invitation to do nothing and a release of having to move too fast. Do you find it's warmer when it snows? Snow vs no snow... snow always warms things up. It's a scientific thing when there's a blanket of snow the earth warms up. My barn is always cozier and warmer when there is a blanket of snow on the ground to cover up the grey... It's pretty... my animals are happier and so am I.

    I just found your channel, and love how you consciously navigate your experience.
    Each of us really do live within our own mind, our own perception, but few take the time to observe are observing that perception as well as well as creating that perception.
    I found your channel through your story about losing Watson, and finding Watson years later after he had settled into the present moment of another life.
    I have a cat named Sheba who just turned 6. I found her at a shelter where a family had only wanted a kitten and after 6 months they were done with her. I enjoy her "is~ness". She is slowly overcoming a skitishness. When she is in "bonding mode" we cuddle and when she is not in that loving desire for closeness I watch her regal cat~ness.
    You spoke about your psychedelic experience of traveling into the metallic black void. I have called that a "numinous darkness". I think dreams come from our experiences in the astral plane. Maybe that is also where books come from.
    I think "the void" lies beyond the astral plane as a boundary to keep us attached to myriad stories. I believe we can another type of existence when we can experience the void and make peace with it. Then perhaps we go beyond existence in the astral realm of stories and eventually into another realm of existence which we can't imagine because 'stories' and their entrapment are all we know.
    I wonder if you have contemplated these ideas and what you feel, and think.

    • @OuterEdgeOutpost
      @OuterEdgeOutpost  7 місяців тому +2

      I've only encountered that void in that one experience, and being alone in the dark, I was too spooked to spend much time with it. If I had company, I might feel braver plunging my consciousness into a potentially fatal vortex. :) But because it was just that one time, I haven't had much evidence to contemplate as to its nature. In my trips I often experience things that are outside the known categories of function and can only be understood while in that state. So trying to define their nature or purpose when I "get back" is challenging. I'm content with the mystery of it.

      Hey Lizzie, welcome to the Outpost! The trailer was left on the property by the previous owners. I did live in it for a little while, but it's really nasty. Full of mice, spiders, wasps, mold, paint peeling off everywhere, and none of the plumbing or electrical works, doors and windows don't close properly...it could possibly be salvaged, but it would take a ton of work that I would rather spend elsewhere. I've just been using it for a storage shed. But yeah, I am most likely going to do another shed conversion next year for the "big house." I tried the tiny house thing and had a disastrous experience, not sure I believe in that concept anymore.

Or does it become part of our cultural need to story tell and therefore belong to everyone? Ingredients: pure ammonia, pure clove oil, and cinnamon oil.
      Using a unsealed grocery store bag place a old cat bed or blanket , any fabric thick enough to fill a grocery bag. weigh it down inside with
      Big Heavy Rock so those wild winds dont blow it away.
      Requires daily re application.
      Pour
      1 gallon of water leave room in jug for a quarter cup ammonia and 15 to 20 drops of cinnamon and clove oil .
      poured entire gallon into each bag you make, and repeat every morning so its always evaporating.

      @eliza-uo6nk 6 місяців тому

      Not OC you were replying to but I’m familiar with the phenomena you described in your video. If you had gone into that place you would’ve experienced what ppl in the psychedelic community call “ego death.” Basically everything that is Isaac and what you consider “you” would melt away and you’d disintegrate into the void for a while and become one with the cosmos, just a singular point of intelligence floating among millions of others, maybe for a few minutes but it can also last a few hours at higher doses. No body, no identity, no “human” experience, feels like being a pair of eyes floating through the universe and you can observe but not participate bc “you” no longer exist.
      It sounds somewhat romantic in theory but most people describe psychedelic ego death as a truly horrifying experience (especially the first time), and feel they will die or go insane if they truly let go. It sounds like you got a choice to go in or not during your experience, but a lot of times at higher doses it just sucks you in and you have to deal with it until it spits you out again and you form a body, lol. Not speaking from experience on that one bc I’m terrified of those doses, just read of this type of experience many times in r/pyschonaut. It’s not for me, thanks, I enjoy having a body right now. More experienced ppl say once you stop fighting it and just let it wash over you it can be a somewhat pleasant experience- they are braver than me though.

    • @OuterEdgeOutpost
      @OuterEdgeOutpost  6 місяців тому +1

      @@eliza-uo6nk So that experience actually sounds like what I was experiencing BEFORE the void portal. @@OuterEdgeOutpost Your videos are a very special for me. All resonates with me, like a beautiful song. I feel the same in many things you mentioned. I am cat lover too, one of my cat has the same life like Bob, during a day she can go out, and when she go home, she steps in front of my door and there is a sensor and it makes a sound an I am going open the door :-). At night she is at home, and she wants to be at home with me ....

    4:00 In the next life? It's current life will be over, dead and gone, FOREVER. It's "next life" is buried in the sand in the form of an egg, it's offspring will emerge, weather permitting. That is the next life for all of us, with amazingly different methods of next life replication. Don't worry if you don't partake in the next life, you contributed to the collective in this life.

    I wonder where do you take your trash?

      There is a dumpster down by the main road that gets picked up by a trash service every two weeks, so I take my cans down there. It's just like putting your cans on the curb for trash day in the city, except my "driveway" is 8 miles of dirt road. :)

      Did too. :) Unless there's an invisible one from you in here somewhere. But the wording is specific, I don't REPLY to all comments but I do ANSWER all comments, meaning if someone asks a question, I will answer it. Some comments are just nice to read but don't really need a response.
