Yeah, excluding Sandy’s Dream, each Dream level has a rotating cylinder to serve as a background. If you disable Hans and go outside of them, there isn’t a skybox, and the same effect as the one in Patrick’s Dream can be seen.
I remember at the beginning of the dream world, since spongebob's house is so close to the edge of the cylinder, you could put a cruise bubble through and see the texture.

29:53 fun fact! You actually CAN get across the gap as Spongebob in the final game with the help of a trick called cruise boosting. You can then get on top of the acorn and collect the spatula there via a trick the community calls fast nut.
Acorns are very laggy in like wayy to many games. In Super Mario Odyssey there is a speed run glitch called the wet nut. You put an acorn in water then if you keep throwing it and grabbing it in mid air (ofc thats the simplified version of it) you can get across large gaps and even break the game.
Let’s all appreciate how much research Beta64 has done & reached out to the original developers just for this video! Thank you for taking so much time to create amazing content for us, Andrew :)

I find it hard to believe that a game like Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom will have SEVERAL pieces of beta information. But this video fills that spot in history. Now THAT is winning the lottery right there!

58:01 oh poor SpongeBob. Even HE knows Sandy is a threat to him. 59:44 Who the heck are you talking to, Sandy!? SpongeBob and Patrick, or the enemies!?
I can't believe the only two videos in the game's files are just cutscenes from Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights. You know, I hope THQNordic remakes that game and the SpongeBob Movie game one day.
I'm so glad you come back with an all new video and all about one of our favorite licenced games ever! I do want to see you cover the complete developments of other games like a few more of the Crash Bandicoot titles in the future.

I haven't seen this channel since 2017! So nostalgic. I'm glad you're back!
the "uh oh this one goes boom" line from Patrick is used in battle for bikini battle rehydrated
Idea For Knew Episode: Sonic Boom: Rise Of The Lyric. This game had a very interesting development and it would be nice to see an episode on it
Fun fact: the unused SpongeBob doodle seen at 1:06:39 was then later reused in the "drawn to life: SpongeBob edition" game card for when inside the 3DS or The DS
No
What an Amazing hour. Just discovering more in my favorite game. Great video!
9:37 Dang, Patrick's dream was put in the game exactly on my birthday
Hope you’ve been taking care of yourself and staying safe during the hiatus ❤️ we missed ya, but you hopefully took a well-deserved break at some point between work!
I really appreciate this comment. tbh I haven't taken a break in quite a long time, but I'm hoping that soon things will start getting better
*when the world needed him the most, he returned*
seriously, i am so amazed by this video! i have been waiting for battle for bikini bottom for a *loong* time now
Yes! New video. ♥️ it feels like just yesterday I just found your channel. I guess its been closer to 8 years now though, hahah.
Always love to see that notification.
As somebody who's been watching your channel since the beginning, this is definitely my favorite video of yours. It's incredible looking back to the earlier videos you had trying to mix comedic skits and quips into the videos and seeing how much improvement there's been. The editing, timing, and writing is all top notch, I'm glad you didn't give up on it after the backlash and kept working on it, because it's paid off insanely well. Can't wait to see some more stuff from you!
An hour long video about game development of my favorite childhood game. The day is blessed
Beta64 - Persona 5: Who are you
Beta64 - Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom: I am you, but with longer runtime
New to your channel, but I've been stoked for this since you talked about it on Arlocast!! I applaud you, sir! Your content is truly top-notch. 👏
32:48
This has to be one of my favourite gags on this show!
I find it hard to believe that a game like Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom will have SEVERAL pieces of beta information. But this video fills that spot in history. Now THAT is winning the lottery right there!
I love how you have the a charm that is almost similar to scott the woz and its very intertaining while also being able to mixed it with valuable info from our favorite games
58:01 oh poor SpongeBob. Even HE knows Sandy is a threat to him.
59:44 Who the heck are you talking to, Sandy!? SpongeBob and Patrick, or the enemies!?
I've been waiting for this video for years thank you for making this video Beta64!
IT’S FINALLY HERE! This is a day for the history books!!
11:19 Be Strong, Be Courageous - Challenge Complete. Beta you are truly amazing.
52:31 This is still in the final game, you just enter the area as Spongebob and not Patrick.
Today is the 1th anniversary of this, my favorite video of your channel!
How the hell did he get a GameCube disc into a pineapple
I haven’t thought about Spongebob Tickler in YEARS. I used to play that on my dad’s Iphone 2 all the time
This video really means a lot to me. This is my favorite “nostalgia game” and I’m so happy to have lifelong questions answered!!!
Thanks for all the time and effort put into this, with getting the devs, digging through files, etc. Really good job! (And Bubble Buddy's unused message is just... wow.)
41:55 So that was technically someone's unfinished fanfiction
It is great to see you upload after a year. BFBB is one of my favorite games as a child, and still to this day.
The video I least expected to drop at this exact moment! Looking forward to all the beta mess that I already sorta know about this game.
Hell yeah new beta64 video! I’ve been watching the old ones for so long.
God this game was my childhood and I bought Rehydrated as soon as I could when it came out. I LOVE this video, really nice work and research!!! It makes me want to reexplore the game with all the scrapped files to see what different experience it would be :]
This is the most 2010s gaming analysis video I have ever seen and I meant that as a compliment.
7:08 That's like that one Trainer's Choice quiz in the Pokemon Advanced seasons.
The 'right' answer to what Seviper evolves into was Arbok, but that's not accurate to any of the games.
