It was such a surprise when I first seen it and I've been in love with it since. Probably one of my favourite DiCaprio movies and performances. Like I said in the video Chay it's fun release from arrow Video and if you are a fan of this movie I definitely think it's worth picking up. It has a lovely 4K transfer as well. Very nice release Keith, i agree on the back of hardbox i think they could have put his legendary "I'm not leaving" line on there or something. I do love the wallet part of it for sure, will definitely pick it up in the future.
To be honest Steve I was checking out your Instagram account and I was surprised the see that you didn't have any pictures for it. I automatically assumed you picked it up. I can't see this selling out anytime soon so it's always going to be there for you. I think you will like it when you do get it
@@millerman9991 I was going to Keith but with Godfather trilogy and a few other things the same week i had to leave it for a little bit. Esb also took money when the 200 credit was due in 3 days later so had an issue with that aswell.
I completely understand that Steve. There was actually a few releases this week I had to to let past me. War of the Worlds on 4K was one in particular. I really want that movie but I seen imprint over in Australia are doing a remarkable release for it. The only problem is it can cost a quite a bit
Fantastic set Keith , looks ace man. I love the movie , my favourite Di Caprio movie was The Aviator, I read a book on Howard Hughes when I was a kid and have been fascinated since. I thought it was a great picture, story, it had everything and I think should of been a Academy Award for him.

It's one of the rare movies that I have not seen from DiCaprio. Hoover on the other hand is another great movie from him. As a matter of fact I need to revisit that movie. Thanks for reminding me. Great video again, i myself just got the war of the worlds 4k, the 1953 original, there's a collector's edition of it if your interested, comes with another classic 50s scifi film as well, When worlds collide, watched War of the worlds this afternoon, great picture quality, the ending was an anti climax but.

I just ordered this but just the standard blu ray as it was less than half the price, can’t wait for it to arrive. It’s a really cool looking release and I’m a sucker for the cardboard sleeve releases.
It's definitely one of the most clever collectors Editions I've ever purchased. The way it's all put together is fantastic and I would love to see arrow Video do more of this. Great to hear that you picked it up yourself

Yeah I was a little bit disappointed by the fact that it wasn't some sort of imitation leather. Having said that it does look amazing and I'm still very happy that I picked it up. That's a stunning set by Arrow once again. It took me awhile to appreciate what DiCaprio could do as a actor. After Gangs of New York and Catch Me If You Can I got more interested in his work but Blood Diamond and Inception really made me a fan. Still haven't received my Highlander copy, maybe on Tuesday. This has to be the most fun release arrow Video have ever done when it comes to an edition like this and I'm hoping to see more like that from Arrow in the future. I had the biggest smile on my face when I was unboxing this. I didn't know about Arrow releasing this movie and that set looks pretty amazing. I actually didn't see this movie until about a year ago and watched it out of sheer boredom and absolutely loved it! lol they should've put a bunch of random Quaalude pills on that plain yellow on the back of this edition. 🤣

The movie itself took me by surprise. I didn't even know who Jordan Belfort was until we seen this movie. As for the release I honestly think it's probably one of arrows most fun editions and I would love to see more of that from them. Actually that's not a bad idea with the quaaludes. I absolutely love this set, will definitely pick this up. the box art cover looks brilliant, I'm happy they used the original cover. Bloody brilliant movie this is.
Fun fact - It took me over an hour to edit out all the swearing, nudity and drugs out of the first 20 minutes of this film.

I bought this and I was disappointed the little bag of coke isn't real😂could have put soap powder in or something at least 😂 I also put a Steelbook I already had in this set as well makes it better definitely
I was waiting for someone to leave a comment about the bag of cocaine not been real. I did mention in the video about how this release would have been better if you had a Steelbook with it. I might put my own into it as well. It's actually a very good idea
Not sure if you were aware Keith but it does have a reversible sleeve showing the boxart as the other cover.
Yes I did realise there was alternate artwork and the only reason why I didn't show it was because it was the same artwork as the main box set. I didn't see the point in showing it. Thanks for the heads up though
Hi Keith, I never thought Arrow would put out The Wolf Of Wall Street either, it seems an odd choice, that being said they did a spectacular job with the edition, lots of fun and I thought the wallet was going to be some type of material too but realistically that would be a big ask from them. One of the reasons to why I thought the wallet was going to be some sort of imitation leather is because I actually have a collector's edition of National Treasure that came in a leather bound book and I was hoping this edition was going to be similar. Not taking anything away from the set itself because it's such a fun release and I would love to see more of that from Arrow. Thank you so much Alan for stopping by and checking it out

That credit card had some smudges on it 😉 nice release - fun unboxing! Have an asian premium slip with the same artwork, so if you say that the 4k is not that worth it, i might skip this arrow release or hope to grab it in a sale

I think your best bet when it comes to this release is waiting to see if it comes down and price because I can't see it selling out. It's wildly available. The 4K transfer is good but like I said it's not a million miles ahead of that Blu-ray. But I think you will appreciate some of the subtle changes.

Hear Robert. Yes it does have a reversible cover on the amaray release and the only reason why I didn't show it is because its the exact same as the otter box. Great to hear that you pick up the Highlander as well and I know you're going to love that one. I don't know whether or not I'm going to get the Pulp Fiction Steelbook. I think I might hold off for a while and see if I can get it on the cheap. I have no idea it was available from Netherlands. I know I will pick it up some day it's just a question of when. Belfort is an interesting dude. I've read quite a bit about him. I saw him do an interview once and he talked about the realism in the movie. It was real enough. Some of the stuff I thought was just done for Hollywood actually happened, at least according to him in that interview (and he doesn't exactly have a great record for telling the truth). As far as all the basic stuff that happened, that part is 100% true, the yacht sinking the airplane crashing, all that happened. The parties, the drugs, the hookers, yep. The Swiss accounts, Steve Madden, meeting Donnie Azoff and him quitting his job, 100% happened. Yes, the man has some problems.
I've had a very long career investigating frauds, so I find guys like Belfort fascinating. It's weird to say, but in a way I respect him. I mean, he's 100% a dirtbag. But I guess the process of how he got there is the intriguing part, for me at least. The movie does such a great job of explaining that, which is probably why I like it so much. And as someone who has looked into maybe thousands of frauds, it can happen to just about anyone given the right motivations and opportunities. Maybe not to Belfort's level, but you'd be surprised what some people are capable of doing.
You can't watch a movie like this and not find Jordan Belfort somewhat interesting despite the fact that he is an absolute Dirtbag. I think when it comes to the movie itself it's very easy to detect what is Hollywood and what is real and funny enough the Hollywood side of this movie is the most boring part of it. But I understand why they have to do that as well.

Nice. I am debating on picking this up - The Blu-ray version - but I have a really nice NovMedia release that is Limited Edition numbered with same cover art as a lenticular. Not sure it is worth an extra pick up. But since I get $100 and a bag of cocaine, I might just have to.
I was going to say the exact same thing did your other edition come with a bag of cocaine and a $100 bill. It's a fun released in has to be said and I can't see this release selling out to be honest. Maybe hold off and see if It drops down in price.

I'm actually embarrassed to say this but I didn't pick up RoboCop on 4k. I love the movie but I didn't want to buy the exact same limited edition set from arrow Video that I have already only for it's a Blu-ray. I'm hoping someday I can get the Steelbook of it and rest assured I will review it
My son reccomended this one to me some time ago, after watching it half a dozen times, but as yet I still haven't seen it. The inside of the box looks amazing, it really does like a wallet, great stuff. Is there an uncut version to this one Keith.
Hey Gary. Honestly this is a movie that you need to check out. I never thought I would see a Martin Scorsese movie as funny as this one. Arrow Video done a great job on this release as well and I would like to see more fun releases like this from them. I don't think there is an uncut version of this movie but I could be wrong.

leos character is a bad guy but is fun as hell memory is a bit fuzzy with this seen it once but its a fun movie from memory
