Hey Keith, this is one of the first movies that I played with my brand new hi-fi, VHS player hooked up to my 2 channel rack stereo system back in 1985/86. I can’t tell you how many times I watched the movie maybe five or six times before I noticed that when Marty travels back to 1955 he runs over one of the pine trees so when he returns back to 1985 the mall is no longer twin Pines. It’s lone Pine Mall 😂 have a great one as always
It took me a while to notice the pine trees difference when watching Back to the Future. There is a lot of that going on through the entire movie and it's probably why I love it as much as I do. You really have to keep your eyes open. Every time I watch them I can't help but feel nostalgic and it's probably why I was so excited to pick up this release. The amount of detail gone into it is quite amazing and it was great to finally be able to Showcase on my channel. Thank you as always John for taking the time to stop by and check it out
Now I think you have an understanding of why I wanted to pick up this edition because you can't help but feel Nostalgic when you go through it. Thank you as always kevin for taking the time out of your day to stop by and check it out
Nice edition this, BTTF films probably my fave trilogy, I was once lucky enough to get a ride in a replica delorean that was kitted out with all the movie bits..while I was in New York
I would do anything to sit in a DeLorean never mind getting a ride in one. I can only imagine what that experience must have felt like. You're a very lucky man
@@millerman9991 it happened quite randomly, I was walking around Times Square and someone had one you could sit and I got a little ride…. I also got to visit the ghost busters fire station too
Absolutely brilliant edition Keith. Only rewatched the 3 movies myself a few months ago and it just reminded me how brilliant they are... and that was only on blu ray, so I can only imagine how great the 4K's are
Hey Darren. Yeah it's a stunning Edition and I must own for any Back to the Future fan. I honestly cannot get enough of all three of the movies. It's almost the perfect trilogy. I still find the third one the weakest of the three but take nothing away from it it's still a fantastic movie. You won't believe how good they look on 4k. But thank you as always my friend for taking the time to stop by and check it out
@@millerman9991 the 4k's are on my must buy when on offer list sp hoping that happens soon I agree the 3rd one is the weakest but I still enjoyed. One and two are fantastic. It's amazing that 4k allows us to enjoy these movies in such good quality
Love this, Keith. Great collector's piece for an iconic franchise. I'd like to see more videos like this if you have similar items such as this in your collection.
I can't help but feel nostalgic every time I open that edition. I wish I had more like them. Apparently there is an expansion pack you can buy that goes well with this. I might look into picking it up
I have a little wallet that has a few of those flyers in it, inc the photo of Lorraine and Marty and his family. It also includes Marty's driving licence, library card etc.
Those would be a few nice little extras to have in this set. There is an expansion to this edition coming out soon and maybe some of them will feature in it
Honesty John I can't help but feel somewhat nostalgic every time I open up that release. Definitely one of the most creative Editions I've ever picked up
It's definitely a must own for any Back to the Future fan. I have that many collectible items from the series but this one is hands down the best. Thank you for checking it out Jawad
What would you say is the best back to future film in your opinion Keith for me just because of how dark it is and also just because of the stakes part 2 and also it's a nice collection you have you really do have some of the nicest collections ever and it makes me jealous
For me it has to be the original but having said that Back to the Future Part 2 is not a million miles from it. It's a phenomenal trilogy. I would almost say perfect but the third one does somewhat let it down. Not that it's a bad movie it just doesn't live up to the heights of the other two
What a really nice set Keith, especially with all those lenticulars. I noticed you said in the future you'll come back and do a review of one of the other sets. Priceless mate, priceless. Still, you do have your own flux capacitor so anything is possible. Love these films, they should leave this trilogy alone and NEVER remake, reboot or (even worse) reimagine these timeless classics. Take care both of you. Gaz.
I did everything to keep it together when I said that in the video. I nearly started laughing. Fair play to you for noticing Gary. I'm almost certain Robert Zemeckis said he will never allow a fourth movie to be made or a remake for that matter. They would never be able to recapture the magic that makes these movies so special. But thank you as always Gary for stopping by. I absolutely love this edition and it was great to Showcase it

Yeah as far as I remember John when the Back to the Future collection came out on Blu-ray there was three editions. You could get the standard. The one that I have and the one that you have. I always wanted that one but it disappeared very quickly. You're very lucky to have one.
