Watched the replay. Lots of fun! And yes, I am picking out some scrapbook papers to alter, but I have to finish my brother's birthday journal before I spend too much time on new experiments.
OH SHUKKY DARNS...fell fast asleep about an hour in...so sorry. Catching up with breakfast and enjoying the colour combo - thank you P xx Am I losing my ever-loving mind over the splatter possibility ? You got that right lolo.... LOVE YOU GUYS XXX
Had to jump off the live because of the j.o.b but later caught your replay. Had to laugh Mariah when you started talking about Apple Barrel paints… the 🎶 kept going through my head “Apple bottom jeans, boots with the furrr!” 🎶 😂🤣 sharing the stream
I have made holiday bunting fir years, especially when my kids were young. It was a fun way to get them involved in decorating papers. My suggestion is to hang yours on your curtains/ drapery windows. We always had s sliding door and huge windows and so that's where I put ours, so they lasted the entire holiday season. Another suggestion is if you want the stair case decorated , laminate the cards. They won't rip. And you can have your little write over the laminate and wipe it off. 😊
Replay was fantastic! I have gel printed over scrapbook paper. Super fun! Its like having your background already done for you. Im enjoying your playing with the scrapbook papers 😊
Patricia's altered scrapbook papers look way better than mine, lol! But I had in mind to leave them with further altering potential when doing future projects. Am I thinking too hard?🤣
M, have you tried Goalz chocolates yet? They are sugar free discs that have several flavors. I love the dark chocolate salted version, but they have coconut, pistachio, almonds, etc. highly recommend for a treat.
Caught up with the thoughts to the point I entered the stream. MANY of the phrases are used in my corner of TN! I love this kind a word business hence my Way with Words love! My dad had a funny saying… if you said how do you like this say, dress…he’d say looks like socks on a rooster to me. I thought that was hysterical as a child and it was only later in life that I learned it pertained to cock fighting…
Regarding “patina”. Ps definition is correct according to Merriam Webster dictionary but so is Ms. A little history of the word patina and how it evolved in use in the 20th century: by the 20th century, they'd expanded the word's application to surface appearances of things that have grown more beautiful with age or use-think of an old wooden desk or a tarnished silver goblet. Use of the word to refer to thin layers both literal and figurative ("a patina of grime," "a patina of respectability") followed soon after. And Ms definition definitely applied in 17th century though 18th century 😂 🤷🏻♀️
Jove was an alternative name for the Roman god Jupiter. All those expressions of exclamation remind me of my childhood.😊
Thank you for that. ...Yes, me too.
Stencil butter was a good call!
Agreed...but here's the thing, if I get M to whaaaaaaa it, then no down time for drying!!!!!!!!!!!!
