I'm just a bit slow with the paints and stuff, but it is still so much fun playing with the gelli plate!🤣♥

Hiya, I started to watch the live but it starts at 3am here in Australia. So I’m here on the rewatch now 🙂 I did an image transfer accidentally one day. I was using old music paper and it transferred to the plate. I was so excited! I have done a few magazine images since but I would rather watch people do it. Lucky I’m here haha.

I thouroughly enjoyed Shannon's visit to the stream. I love how she just dove right in. Also, I consider a top sheet a total necesity. I was really surprised ten years or so ago when one of our granddaughters informed me she didn't need one. What?

The print that Patricia handed to Maria after she stopped making prints has a very small long haired guy with a beard and a mustache. It was in the lower left of The picture (from your view). OK, let me get this straight, you pulled the color seps from an image, printed each out on the laser, then used each one for image transfers (of various colors of paint) on to one paper making a print of the successive layers? Did you pump the contrast/black on the the various seps? The experimenting was awesome to watch! Thank you! Next week: we'll need 3D glasses, right? :)

Watched the replay! So cool Mariah! You did an excellent job! Although I agree with P regarding image transfers, just take a photograph of it if you want a likeness. I say this because I’m in the camp of P, image transfers frustrate me. But you seem to understand it. Love and hugs. ❤💯🔥💗🫶🏼

I saw Eddie do this with like 8 layers of paint…. None of which read in the end! I tried it with 4 colours… black, yellow, teal, then magenta for the pull… no yellow showed! So I suggest don’t make it so long haul! For the best effect… base, accent, background/pull colour! No extra work… lovely results! And guess what… it’s that darned RULE OF THREE that always works!!!

I'm catching the replay. Shannon is doing great! Her friend that does collages would probably love some of those papers. I would love to see what happens if your crinkle the tissue paper then smooth it out before you lay it one the plate.
