WELCOME to JUNEAU ALASKA - TOP THINGS to SEE and DO
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- We are exploring Juneau, the capital city of Alaska, America's Last Frontier. This is a unique city because there are no roads connecting to the city. Instead, it is only accessible by the sea or sky. There are glaciers, mountains, and wildlife within a walkable reach from the downtown. We tour the colorful city as independent travelers in search of the best hike and views.

Interesting old houses. Really enjoy the narration and you guys have so much fun
I kept thinking how these homes must weather so many storms in winter yet they are so bright and cheerful! Glad you enjoyed 💫
love that you brought attention to my home!
What a wonderful amazing place to visit. Full of glorious nature! I can’t wait to see all you highlighted in your fantastic energizing video 😊😁👍❤️
It really is! Juneau has incredible and accessible nature!
Oh nice. I stayed at the Baranof too. I had a great view and would deliberately wake up at different hours after midnight, just to get pictures and video of how bright it was outside.
You guys are making me miss Juneau.
By the way, the reason there are so many Indengeous Orthodox, is because there was a small pox outbreak in the late 1800s, and when the Native Shamans weren't able to treat it, a lot of Natives lost faith in their traditional religion, and converted to Christianity. It's a very interesting story.
How interesting! I didn’t know that, thanks for adding that bit. I find the Russian / native history in this region to be fascinating.
I lived in Southeast including Juneau in the late '70s and early '80s. Thanks for these videos.
Thanks for watching!
What a very well made video with lots of great things to learn! I have never been to Alaska but I lived in Seattle and the cruise lines were always docked at the waterfront where I worked. One day I would like to go visit!
Awesome vlog
Beautiful. We are going there in June. I subscribed. New friends from Las Vegas 👍
Enjoy! That’s a great time to go - nice long summer days!
Have a trip planned mid-june from Texas to Juneau. Will be staying at the Baranof. Really looking forward to it.
We stayed at the same place, enjoy!
@@RunTheAtlas thanks. I was torn between Fairbanks and Juneau and your. Video helped cement my decission
what's the shortest (and best) hiking trail from top of Mount roberts down to downtown Juneau?
Beautiful video. How far is the trail round trip? I have seen anywhere from 4 to 10. Big difference
Nice job! Would suggest keeping your hands out of the scenes - adds nothing and is annoying.
Can we put them in the emojis? 🙌👌
I thought that was kind of weird too lol
First thing that drove me nuts, I just wanted to see the river, valley. I know it's hard to do a pro level production, I've tried to get ideas from more successful ones., Otherwise nice content
Actually 3 ways to get to Juneau: Boat, Plane or born there..
Haha love it!
i live here lol
The original indigenous lands still belong to the first nation.
Pls come to India 🇮🇳
we would love to! where do you recommend we visit?
Please both stop emphasizing your hands, manicure to showcase the scenery, and photobombing over the views, that would make your videos much much better. Otherwise places you visit and info is nice

Why do you talk as if your afraid to wake someone??? Speak up!!
