Great tips. First time playing this game. Defenitely changing the sencitivity controls is much better and had to start as a Padawan lol. Making progress and having fun. Cant wait to get the lightsaber! Edit: Switch user.
I have 2 complaints about this port. 1) there’s no aim assist at all. While some people don’t like it and think it helps improve aim it’s still a pain in the ass. If your crosshairs aren’t perfectly on an enemy it misses. I’m not saying it should be added without an option to turn it off. I feel consoles should have that option. PC is a bit understandable. I played it on pc and yes it’s the superior version no doubt. I’m not even good with mouse and keyboard but I remember having no issues with aiming and shooting. I played it on GameCube and Xbox and I still didn’t have any issues with aiming and shooting. 2) They didn’t add multiplayer. While academy was more geared towards online play outcast had better modes and maps, my opinion. Plus I played with the bots and I had a blast laughing at the stupid AI. For some reason they flocked to the elevators, A LOT! Like a couple enemies would get on an elevator to fight each other and a few other opponents would be standing underneath while the elevator slowly killed them. It would go down, smack them on the head causing the elevator to go back up lol. Or they knew what saber style you were using and switched to it when you switched to it. Outcast had a Jedi master game mode where everyone starts without force powers or a lightsaber. Weapons, health, ammo etc were around the map. Saber spawned in the middle and whoever grabs the lightsaber becomes the Jedi master and you only score points by getting kills as the Jedi master. It was fun and I wish it was on academy when it launched on Xbox
I played the crap out of multiplayer on the pc back in the day, but I don't think I've ever even gotten the saber on singleplayer. I always get lost lol.
Miss these games ...BA!!! Freedom w Sabers needs to return. 1 thing I'd like to see in new gen, after you graduate the academy (not mid story complete game only) any/every sequel game that after that should recognize our created and graduated jedi
Frank Tyler yeah it’s not something I do regularly lol I’m very gentle with my games. Just wanted to show off the disc art. Still get a kick out of how tiny the GameCube discs were.
@@VulturePilot disc art is a must show! And I appreciate that. I expect most gamers these days just have digital versions. It's hard to beat disc art, and hard copy game manuals!
Hahahaha-ha. This game is mend to played with a mouse and a keyboard, not with a controller !!! So the very best thing you can do is go grab it from a torent site and play it for free on you a laptop or PC. The quality of your experience will raise 100% and it will be for free. Now go and dew-it 😎👍
Kejim really was a nightmare playing through the first time.
Even on replays, it's really tough and you need to progress with care...
Good review!
I recommend getting the PC version. The mouse makes everything so much easier to control.
But not alot of people have that kind of money tho
@@TheUsurperKing that kind of money meaning three dollars...
I’ve always played this on pc. But i just got the ps4 version on sale I’m hoping to platinum it 😄
I have it gamecube im trying to master this shit
So agree
Played the original back in the day on pc
Now playing on ps4
I like the mouse better

Thank you! I've been having a ton of trouble with this because I can't aim and now I know I can change sensitivity cause of this 😅

Thank you for this, I just bought it on a PSN sale and it's so cool to revisit a classic :D

Lightsaber combat is so much better in singleplayer. They tried to "rebalance" the saber in multiplayer and ruined it.
@@nybergsgarage agreed. The ladder mod level is amazing for saber dueling and survival. Or just spawning npcs to fight is a blast.

How did you peek from behind that wall at 9:41? I’m playing on the PS5 and I’ve never seen anyone else do it before either
The movement (left stick) needs a sensitivity option. Borderline unplayable with PS4 controller.
dude thank God someone else out there realizes this, literally unplayable lightsaber combat
Be a man, this is the dark souls of Star Wars we’re talking about
1:45 did he.... Did he set the disk face down..??
Frank Tyler very gently! Mad lad move I know, disc is still clean and scratch free and plays great to this day however :)
@@VulturePilot I've lost many games to friends like that, so I just hate to see another game lost. Thank you for cleaning my concern so fast!!!

I didn’t know people put them down any other way tbh
Epic swag video brother
Good video only criticism would be try for a more consistent volume level for the whole video because a few sections were way louder than others
For me the deadzone on the switch is what makes it so annoying to aim
Great video!
I'm trying to make videos my self. What software do you use to edit your videos?
Hi
Is it possible to Play this game with mouse and keyboard
it´s works - probably even better for aiming which is very important (at least in the first few missions)
