Lowkey if they released Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 for the Switch with Online multiplayer. I’d buy that in a Heart beat
Edit: 3 yrs later and they finally came through. See you boys on bespin platforms March 14
I would by it in a heartbeat even if it was a full $60😂 I love that game so much!
I wish they’d release elite squadron remastered with proper controls. That game was like battlefront 2 enhanced. I would love to play that multiplayer
Nylokwyn bruh big facts that shit was god tier on the PSP
Nylokwyn damn, elite squadron was the shit that’s the only thing i played on my psp lmao.
Professor Chad absolutely. Such a great game! Loved the clone customization in that one
I remember being amazed by "WHOA, the lightsabers leave a MARK on the WALL!"
It doesn't even do that in bf2 only the ground I think.
Jedi outcast did that first
Jesse12489 This is almost a stand alone expansion to that game, more than a sequel.
@@Ryune_aye it does tho lol
@@charlescc58 nah just the ground I tested it but I haven't played in a month or so. And it seems to happen randomly.
Star Wars: Dark Forces 4: Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Outcast 2: Jedi Academy
Jedi Edition
Jedi deebus
Jedi Hentai
Can't wait for the sequel.
And a lot of people in the comments probably don't get it, but what you mention is an absolutely proper title for this game.
Jedi Duncan
Pc gamers found their way onto the Switch multiplayer servers:
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."
*When you look down the hallway and see a red saber ignite*
It’s the Dreamcast all over again
Cross play would have been cool
Game: is 13 years old
Review: THE PORT WAS RUSHED
17 years
17 years since the switch exist wow...
@@miguelangelvillanuevaromer4857 Did that seriously go over your head or are you terrible at sarcasm? The game is likely older than you. Switch tried to port it, terrible idea without upgrading it. Thus Nintendo stopped releasing it. It would have been a great game if they upgraded it. Go order it for over 100 bucks.
@@Jedi_Are_Scum it's still on the switch
They should release LEGO Star Wars the complete saga on switch.
That'd be fun to play. JKA doesn't translate well to consoles, its really a PC game, but I would totally play lego star wars on my switch.
I like you already Matthew
@FoxRNG Are you talking about lego star wars or jedi academy..? I know lego star wars is on a lot, I used to play in on xbox a loong time ago, very fun. Would be nice to have it on-the-go on the switch though. As for JKA, I know that too is on xbox/switch/ps/android but its more of a PC-exclusive at heart due to its nature. Ports of it really weren't very good.
The Skywalker Saga comes out at the end of April. All 9 Episodes done in Lego
David Ford gonna be better apparently. Open world hubs and improved combat with light and heavy attacks etc.
"The lightsaber combat is clunky and inprecise."
I'd like to point out that the lightsaber combat in Jedi Academy is *still* considered the best depiction of lightsaber combat in *any* Star wars game - yes, that includes "Fallen Order" - by people familiar with canonical lightsaber combat styles. Heck, there used to be online servers where people taught others how to use different canonical saber-combat styles in-game (and I think some of them are still around).
While the "Fallen Order" saber combat *might* be more fun to casual players, it's just made to be flashy and oversimplified. In "Jedi Academy", it might take a bit to learn how to perform specific saber slashes and combat movements, but if you *do* take some time to figure out how to control your character properly your movements become far from "clunky and imprecise". Unless you find *any* game NOT using auto-aim/auto-lockon to be clunky and imprecise. -_-
"The addition of quick shortcuts to your force powers"
You've clearly never played the 2003 PC version, 'cause if you did you'd know that you *could* assign keyboard shortcuts to force powers in the original release of the game. :/
Console is good too. Or maybe I just used to be good back then...no it was good.
@Ryan Bramble back then...being a teenager with too much time on my hands needing to find more in life than star wars lol. Always ticked my friends off so they would rage quit.
Nijuni Kuro I read 5 comments before I read yours, but your comment really convinced me to buy the game. P.S. I only watched 1:31 seconds of the video thank you for saving my time😎👌🏾
@@MrHanma-if6pb Did you enjoy it?
Noah Fessenden Yeah for a good while
dude you're capping if you think that this fallen order lightsaber combat is better than this.
That's the dumbest statement I've ever heard, opinion or not (the guy in the video, not yours)
Cron Castle facts I'm playing it rn
I would say that Fallen Order has better lightsaber combat on a game pad. This game works better with a mouse and keyboard
jayko945 dude Jedi fallen order is like comparing an on the rails game versus a open world sandbox
In context of combat
@@ben_6475 master i never knew you were proficient with slang
I really want KOTOR 1 and 2 on Switch. I’d be so happy, among others. Please Aspyr, would you port those to the Switch?
Would be sooooooo good but only if Kotor 2 came with the restored content update that steam got.
R Gar Agreed my friend
I want Jade empire...
ASMR CARBON Yes!!! Throw that in there also. I’m surprised it’s not on Switch. I thought it would have, with it being on IOS and Android. I hope Aspyr does more ports.
I'd buy it immediately
Now if only we could get a Classic Battlefront and Rouge Squadren collection on Switch!
We don’t have that on any modern console much less switch
If the OG battlefront 2 came to switch I would pass it from excitment
@@Darkaria668 Its not gonna happen on Sony or Microsoft consoles because they don't want to take attention away from their new games. Their not releasing the new BF games on Nintendo consoles so I thought they might as well do this.
Rogue Squadron would be amazing!!
@@unseenphantomamvsytp2186 I mean it is on xbox, just a backwards compatible version of the classic xbox one. I've been blasting my way through the historical campaign, so many memories from sitting in front of my ps2 as a kid.
It's a shame this game doesn't get as much love as it deserves.
You literally could summon through cheats an entire army of sith and another army of jedi and make them fight while you are just there, sitting on your 4ss making bets. I loved every single moment of this game.
When I had this on PC when it came out, I used to do that on the Korriban level and just have an all out war.
I also used to make tournament style teams in offlnie multiplayer mode. ex: 20 Chewies against 20 Chiss. Whoever won moved on and played a different character. I would play the winning team. It passed the time quite a bit.
Then I found out the Jawa cheat and played a duel weilding dark Jawa with double red sabers LOL
Can you do this on the Switch version too?
This game was BY FAR the best star wars game I've ever played growing up. Just the way some of the sith would taunt u by making a line a the ground with their light Saber & also battling 2 to 3 sith at a time made for the best light Saber battles I've ever had. The memories & endless fun i had playing this with my brother growing up were such simpler times. The nostalgia is so epic!!!
The PC version is fantastic and the mods are amazing.
But I wouldn’t say Fallen Order is superior. It’s good, but this is still my top saber game.
Its funny he calls the saber combat janky. I just talked about it with my friend and we both agree its the best star wars/lightsaber combat system ever in any sw games.
If they would just make a new game with this same saber fighting system it would sell like hot cakes. It feels the most star wars like.
Doesnt make it any less janky
It's my second or third favorite game ever and the lightsaber combat is the best in any star wars game but it is janky a bit
Saber combat is janky, it just requires high skill that not all can master. A few people in MP who mastered this saber combat would kill you in a few seconds and you won't even give them a scratch.
@@killuazoldyck9929 IMO I only think the game needs a proper blocking system. Btw I've NEVER played this game and only got around to it when it came to switch. Once done with the story I got online and like you said the pros came and I couldnt even touch them. They were the jedi masters and we were the padawans. But after playing with the people on my level then moving to harder players I got better. Getting the skills I have now is because of the mixable combos and freedom the game gives you. The combat rewards those whos stick around and learns its mechanics. I would also make the point that if players can fight other players without getting scratched doesn't that show some kind of skill. Ive learned of skills like 'poking' because of the games flexible combat which is simple in nature but complex enough for each player to have a unique fighting style.
@@benh224 that’s so good. having a game with a high skill ceiling is way more fun and replayable then if everything catered to bots. even if it makes the saber fights janky it’s great to know you could turn that into master jedi gameplay
This game is an amazing gem. I would pay $20 for the online multiplayer alone. As others have already stated the lightsaber dueling and controls are incredible and allow for a diverse play style from player to player. It's crazy that this review states that the combat is "janky" and "clumsy" which could not be further from the truth. There is a reason that this 13 year old game still has a hardcore fan following.
It came out at the end of 2003 almost 17 years ago.
I play it on my switch everyday!! It’s amazing!!!
I played the multiplayer years ago when this came out on PC for hours on end back in the day. I'm waiting for a sale honestly but I see myself getting it eventually.
My dad got this back when I was like eight and play it on his computer and I loved it. It's a great game, and probably the first game I played that was a 3ps
The combat is very difficult to master; hence why most people think it's janky and clunky. It is the opposite of that; if you know what to do.
I still remember the multiplayer of the PC game. In my guild, can't remember the name, there were "Grand Masters" who teach the Padawans how to use the lightsaber with different styles. May be it's clumsy if you wield you lightsaber just smashing buttons, but it's still the best lightsaber combat videogame.
I’m really enjoying this game at the moment. I played this game when I was 12 on PC so I’m probably biased but it is really good.
I'm around the same age that you were when you first played it, and it's great!
Probably? Definitely you mean. I never played it back then but I gave it a shot this time around and it’s very bad lol. For what it is, it’s alright though. Six is a fair score, even five would be.
Fuzzy Ewok in its day it was a 10/10 , 2003 of course
@FoxRNG Yes But JKA has the most realistic and innovative saber combat to date. Every star wars game after this one has fallen short by far. I still give this game a 10/10 review and ive played it and many other star wars games on and off for years this one for 14 on pc.
FoxRNG Nah.
I used to love the light saber duels back in the Days online. I remember jumping and slicing and turning the sensitivity high so you can do like a 720 spin slash with the heavy setting and crouching too
Played this game for over 10 years, met some awesome people on the game online, clans that would use ninja mods to create themes and communities, free for all communities, capture the flag is STILL going on to this day on PC with private servers, truly a wonderful experience over the years. Streamed plenty of it over the years too later on in the years.
=)
The combat you describe as “clumsy” is still the best lightsaber combat that we’ve gotten outside of VR experiences.
fallen order?
It's clumsy af, stop cappin.
@@ChewyTLado That's more Dark Souls than anything.
@@lilblock3564 If you find it clumsy, it's because you're not that great at it.

I remember being upset about this game when I found out you didn’t play as Kyle Katarn. But I quickly got over it when I started playing and having fun! Really glad that this and Outcast came to Switch!
Best game ever. Who cares about any new Star Wars game. Jedi academy is the best !
As someone who prefers Jedi Outcast, I must say Jedi Academy definitely translated better on Switch. That said, Aspyr could've done better, especially for a $20 price tag. I still love the game of course.
I got it for $5 lol
I loved Jedi Outcast. I wish they included the multiplayer in the switch port.
@@Abizaga Or at least put the maps into Jedi Academy multiplayer.
@@noahfessenden6478 Agreed! That would have kicked so much ass with the extra saber styles!
Split screen?
They’re getting my hopes up. They’re making me hope they will release every classic Lucas arts console Star Wars game on switch. Rogue Squadron, Republic Commando, Battlefront, KOTOR... all of it. Give it.
Republic commando is coming in a few days. What will be next I wonder?
Kotor will be added in Nov
Clone Wars was good too
Shadows of the empire!
I hope you have KOTOR now!
Waiting for Star Wars: Racer eagerly
once Star Wars Episode 1 Racer releases on the Switch let's hope it sells well enough for Nintendo to make ports of either Star Wars Racer Revenge or the Knights of The Old Republic games.
@Carl Ward well look what bethesda and Nintendo did with Doom all of the games that could have been in one legacy collection are all separate so it's possible Star Wars is going to wind up repeating recent history.
@Carl Ward aside from my response on how Nintendo could port any future Star Wars games to the Switch which of the games I mentioned before you replied would you want to be announced for the Switch should Star Wars Episode 1 be a hit among the Switch community of gamers?
Yes please.
Throw in KOTOR while we're at it
Respectfully jedi acadamy has way better lightsaber combat than fallen order
As someone who played this on PC, I can't imagine how you would fight using lightsaber against the Cultist and Reborns. Even in PC saber combat is difficult because saber movements are determined by combinations of directional movements and even the jump button.
the motion controls included make it easier.
It's literally just as easy. The joystick works exactly the same to swing the camera around before or after swinging the saber. Using them together makes combat really easy.
Get good
Nintendo Life, please correct yourselves. At 3:20 you argue that this is "clumsy" combat and that more modern games like Jedi: Fallen Order "show just how far we've come in terms of melee finesse." This is a HUGE insult to he game. Jedi Academy is one of the most controllable, responsive, and finesse games ever released in terms of lightsber combat (and really as a sword combat simulator in general). Watching the video, I get the feeling that you didn't even realize that attack direction of swings is based on which of the WASD keys you're (or for switch, which direction you're moving) lol. As someone who has played Fallen Order and Jedi Academy (6-year veteran of the game, in fact), Fallen Order is nothing more than button mashing when compared to the fine detail and control Jedi Academy gave players.
The biggest draw to the game is EXACTLY THAT. If it were "clumsy" then we wouldn't be playing it nearly 20 years later. It's one thing to not have played the game much and so not have a very good perspective on skill of the game, and I don't criticize for that, but to make a claim that the game is "clumsy" and and not as good as more modern games when you don't have that experience.. ouch.
To quote Obi Wan, when I heard you say that, this is how long-term players felt I'm sure lol: "I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."
Have u played it on the switch?
@@veryangry8866 I have a switch yes although I'm primarily a PC player. The combat runs identically though, the difference between pc and the port is that mouse and keyboard is generally a lot easier to perform techniques and the port excludes a number of QoL features.
Oh well I’m a new player, got it on the switch and found it to be clumsy as hell, often times I wouldn’t know what I was doing but once you get used to it it’s really good, plus playing online against pc players isn’t fun as u get destroyed by all the wiggle technique users
@@veryangry8866 well, "wiggle technique users" lol. You can do the same thing on the switch or ps4, its just harder. but for that matter, the "wiggle technique" is much less important to competitive play as other aspects (aiming/poking, strafing/footwork, ranging, blocking, etc.) which are all, admittedly, much harder on switch or ps4. Absolutely doable, but KBM controls are always more responsive in JK games than controllers.
It's definitely not clumsy though in either case. It can be clumsy to the unskilled hand or eye simply because if you don't know what you're doing, quite frankly it looks like a lot of flailing. But to those of us who are practiced in it, it's extremely intricate and very well made. I cannot restate enough: You haven't really had a chance to truly play the game to its full capacity unless you play it on a PC and receive training from someone (which is part of what really gives it its jedi feel--you pretty much need a master to take you on as an apprentice, otherwise it is incredibly hard to learn by yourself because the techniques of the game are not always obvious).
I've played for 6 years. I'd have called it clumsy in my first few weeks or months too, as no one really was teaching me and I was new to it. But once I learned more and more, I found this game is not what it appears on the surface. It's definitely a game that can be played for decades and still, even now, have new things be discovered about it.
It’s technically Dark Forces 4: Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy.
I will take this over Disney's garbage canon any day. When Star Wars games were great.
Star Wars games are great rn lol
I found a way to lock on to enemies. Super useful, and I love how you can still customize the controls
can you tell me how?
@@Garobb95 apparently they cannot
@@Garobb95 it’s been a while sense I last played but try tapping down on the one of the joystick. Pretty sure that’s how you do it. If not try L or LZ, if it’s still not working then check out your controller options and see what you can find or mess around with your controllers a little
Click right joystick in and it locks on to enemy
I've never played Star Wars Jedi Knight Academy or Outcast, but I played Battlefront 2 2005 a lot as a kid and I loved the game so much, now I might end up buying Academy for my Switch, I don't mind the graphics, it's the gameplay/Single player/Multiplayer that interests me
I had no idea an online lightsaber fighter game was a thing, i played and got soo addicted although its lacking options, the story mode is fun too
In my honest opinion, they should have brought back the entire Jedi knight series, remade with modern graphics, and I'm saying ONLY graphics, the rest should be as it is. No additions of these new things, like remakes, often do. I'd enjoy battling Yun, Boc, Jerec and the rest of his dark Jedi in modern graphics. I can see the appeal of the old graphics, believe you me, I played the shit out of every Jedi Knight game. But young gamers won't enjoy our games as much as we did.
Also, I kinda have the entire series on steam.
The lightsaber combat isn't janky. It's just horribly explained. The tutorial doesn't really teach you a single thing about how it actually works. The deeper nuance goes completely unmentioned, and most players just hammer the attack button and get seemingly random swings thinking that's how it's supposed to work. And of course it's not their fault.
Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast were two of my favorites as a kid. I played Jedi Academy A LOT. Oh the nostalgia!!
I loved this waaaay more than fallen ordrr. I had my fun with fallen order but this combat is way more suited for star wars than the soulslike one
there is another colon there
Star Wars:
Dark Forces 2:
Jedi Knight 3:
Jedi Academy
I just wish they'd put the original Dark Forces, Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, and Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith on the switch as well
I’ll pass. I’d rather an entire remake from the ground up like what they did with Spyro, I know that’s a completely different game style wise but it proves it can be done. Still hoping for that KOTOR remake since I didn’t get the chance to play it back in the day
gagalover2k10 KOTOR looks pretty good on the iPad which I played it on. Also my first time with the game
Behroz Taib my iPad has an epileptic fit if I do so much as look at it, otherwise I would’ve bought it and played it by now
If you can I would highly recommend it on pc, the mods are fantastic and even replace a chunk of lost content.
Robert Smith I would if I had a PC, I’m thinking of getting one just to game on, graphics are way better
They're not remaking KOTOR anymore. Sorry buddy..
Love how he mentioned the colored light sabers and how their not necessary but we’d be pissed cuz it’s 💯 truth!
They use the same servers as PC, so computer players can hop into Switch matches and perform saber exploits like pokes, wiggles, and spins.
For anyone who doesn't know what pokes and wiggles are, you basically swing, and turn your camera so your blade stays in your opponent throughout the animation, inflicting colossal damage.
(Pro tip- Crouch fanning with medium style is a pretty good strat.)
if anyone has any crap talk about the jedi knight games, son, just don't. these games paved the way and are fantastic.
not sure its fair to say they pave the way towards anything when they are still easily the best lightsaber combat games out there. a real shame lol
I have been pondering on whether or not if this game is worth porting into my Switch. I grew up with this game. After seeing this video, I am now more confident in getting the game, myself. Thank you very much for this review. Thanks to you, I know I will be having heck of a lot of fun with this game.... and a lot of nostalgia. Hehehehe.
The best Star Wars game ever made. The entire series was great, and this was the peak. I thought Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was near perfection, and this game took it to a whole other level. This game is deserving of a full remaster with updated graphics and more player customizations.
You’re saying fallen order has better combat than this? You’re kidding right?
He clearly hasn't played this on the PC
I love this on Switch. I picked the Double Bladed Lightsaber. I'll have to do another playthrough with Dual
This would be perfect if the modders of Movie Battles 2 could mod the switch version
Hey man! Star Wars: Demolition was a pretty fun game!! The game was Twisted Metal, but with Star Wars!!!! I would buy that game a million times over if I could.
i hate how its ''non cannon'' because some twats hijacked the storyline. lol
I hope they port force unleashed and og battlefront 2 next.
Fallen order is just a flashy 'darksouls' as they say, where you mash quick or strong attacks. It's just combos, this gives you way more control in combat. You clearly didnt fully enjoy the lightsaber combat and missed the appeal, it took me a while to understand how using joysticks allow you to control how you swing your saber.
@@TwoFace123-f2n It's a very short game, when I first played it I was a kid and I'd only ever finished it once. Call it a short attention span or not understanding that choosing jedi master meant the difficulty was at it's highest. If you take the time to mess with the saber combat and understand all the tricks you can do, you'll love it. It's not beautiful like fallen order, the combat gives you control so the moves aren't so flashy that you feel like you're in the films. But the combat feels much more rewarding, saber comabt isnt repetitive in how enemies attack you, that said they have the same 3 combat stances you do so they can change it up to make your stance useless against them. If it's cheap, pick it up give it a go, but for me this game is a pure nostalgia trip with a combat system that gives me control of a lightsaber. Not me locking onto an enemy and just pressing x and y rapidly.
Haven't watched the review yet, so not sure if he mentions this, but the horizontal FOV is the same as the 4:3 PC version, resulting in a cropped image on the 16:9 Switch.
How do they keep messing this up? The previous game didnt have invert aim, now this? Omg
@@rebelredshirt_2188 Does Academy have inverted aim? That's really a deal breaker if not.
@@tzera_rhuon yes it does. Jedi academy had it from day 1. Jedi outcast was patched in like 3 months after release. But as of now, both games have invert aim. Jedi academy is the better of the 2 in my opinion, and it has online multiplayer.

Modders: We added Online on PC on Xbox after tons of time for the community!
Nintendo and Sony: You efforts are useless!
I have been playing this game on my Xbox One X recently as they gave it an update to have anti-aliasing cleaned up, 16x anisotropic filtering and resolution pushed to 4K. And there is a cool work around to play online. That said I will be purchasing this game for my son on the switch as he really enjoys Jedi Outcast. Wish the first game was backwards compatible
I was 2 the first time this game came out and just saw it for the first time on the Nintendo eshop and instantly fell in love. I’m buying it later today for sure.
As someone who played Outcast a ton on the GC, the one thing I noticed that they removed from Outcast was the “sticky aim” which really made it difficult to enjoy. Can anyone attest if that is back in this game or is it non existent?
Seriously, sticky aim would have been so nice in the Switch port.
There is no sticky aim in the Switch version, making aiming extremely difficult.
Fuck aiming I've used a lightsaber the entire game
Why are you aiming? Lol. Jedis don't use blasters, they're uncivilized.

Did he really just say that constructing your own lightsaber "isn't really necessary"?
Of course it's necessary!
I've spent most of my time in Jedi Outcast using the stun prod and charging through enemies, saving after and sometimes during every encounter. Probably spent most of the game in single figure health digits risking it all in every encounter.
With Jedi Academy, I'm doing a lot better. The lightsaber is really a lifesaver, and while the janky combat and awful gunplay are still here, I can't help but love it more.

Oh, I got the lightsaber in Outcast. Then continued struggling as now every enemy seemed to have bombs galore. Gave up on it pretty quickly after that.
@@DarkRulaMedia Force Push usually deals pretty good with that. Your force abilites such as push and pull can break saber locks and enemy attacks.

Rating a game from years ago with today's standards is really dumb. Back in those years this game got a good review. It's really obvious that as time goes by games get way better.
Honestly, this game should be a 10/10 by today's standards anyway, the reviewer just hasn't played more than 5 minutes of it. Comparing JKA to Fallen Order?? FO was trash by comparison, there are like 2 attacks you can do. 5 if you count different saber styles, I guess. JKA is a lot more in-depth than this guy gives credit to and its a shame :/ I want to say that future games have gotten worse rather than better, in every category except for graphics.
I bought the game for switch I never got to play it as a kid i dreamed of getting to play this when I was 10. I’m 23 now and I finally get to do it and Motion Controls with joy con almost make it worth the wait it feels lik I’m really swinging the saber in game

Hi games, I'd like an opinion on this game, I bought jedi outcast on Switch and finished it, I thought it was one of the best and worst game I've ever played at the same time, some levels were awful (Nar Shada flashbacks) and I felt like Kyle was constantly on ice when I was moving. It didn't feel good. I habe already played jedi academy on pc 2 years ago and loved it I know the level designs is way better and the story too but I'm scares by this switch port, does controlling the character feels better than in jedi outcast ? It's my main fear with this port and I don't want to pay 20 bucks just to be disapointed
@@TwoFace123-f2n hi dude, huge SW fans here and no, it's not worth it to buy these games on switch. I imagine controls on a switch may seem clumsy but just remember this game was built for PC.
I bought it and the multiplayer is top notch! Best switch game! (Other than Animal Crossing New Horizons)
Compared to fallen order the lightsaber combat is awesome. It was an awesome game back in the day, and still beats fallen order.
I am absolutely pissed that this game was released with online multiplayer on everything BUT Xbox one, which has had the single player and offline version of the game for years
I loved this game. I would play random levels and then use console with cheats to spawn all sorts of tough enemies and just jump around and killing crap. Best Star Wars game of the early 2000s by far.
I would love to play Battlefront 2 2005 on this. Best way to play this game is definitely on the handheld mode.
"You can even customize the look and color of your lightsaber
*which is unnecessary * "
🙄
Me -hitting the dislike and moving onto the next video for your ignorance.
I just want to know if the local multiplayer from the original is back or if it’s online only
if you hold down the jump button, it'll use the force to make you jump higher. just putting this in the comments cuz I can tell you didn't know from the sand mission gameplay, and honestly not knowing that can really ruin the experience for anyone who's gonna play.
What is the first game I’m supposed to play?
I played this game a lot back in the day and I missed it a lot
Can you do the multiplayer with bots or does it have to be with other people?
Ah, yes, the Star Wars game where you can swing a lightsaber at an enemy at point blank range...
AT POINT BLANK RANGE...
...And still somehow miss 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time.
I want my money back. Between this, Pinball and Knights Of The Old Republic, I am yet to play a Star Wars game on Switch that doesn't leave me feeling disappointed and ripped off, which doesn't half make me worried about how Lego Skywalker Saga is going to turn out.
I bought it to say, and waiting for it to download, I am curious about this game actually, I can say I'm excited for it next thing, I'm getting republic commando
So how was it?
The lack of option to change the aspect ratio is my main gripe about this port, especially when Jedi Outcast has it. What is the excuse?
Wish they’d release Galactic Battlegrounds for the switch - would be amazing.
Or Empire at War or Rebellion
So is there no split screen or local multiplayer?
Honestly I feel like a remake with a little bit more modern graphics might have made it better
Can you play the entire game in first person mode?
More proof that Disney was worse for SW then the prequels
SXS the clone wars is the best thing ever. If you’ve watched it all the way through you’d agree with me that the prequels are filled with some amazing content.
How do I play online I go 2 multiplayer & do matchmaking but it keeps not letting me join & says try again later am I the only 1 with this issue?
Thanks for a really honest and straightforward review. It saved me some money. Granted, I do have the original games and also got them for free on Amazon's gaming portal, but hey...a decent Switch version would have been nice. Guess I won't do it now though. ;)
I'm sure it's the rose tinted glasses.. but I remember Star Wars Demolition being pretty fun when I rented it.
is movie battles 2 (a mod for this game) available on switch?
yet some criticizers and game mags have acknowledge the saber combat as one of the best so far
