how stiff is the black material on the towel supposed to be when new? mine feels so stiff and hard that it would scratch the paint fresh out of the packet. I understand you're supposed to break them in on glass the first use, but compared to another towel I have, the P&S feels very abrasive and rough. Keen to hear your thoughts..

Likely 50+. It is a fine grade clay meant for general cleaning ability, for heavy contamination you will want to bounce back to an actual clay bar. We suggest soaking in rags to riches solution every few weeks to keep it fresh and like new, then just rinse and its ready to go
Can you use the reset towel and beadmaker on a coated surface to clean contamination off of the coated surface without striping coating? Great videos !! Gary J.
Total waste of time. Told before applying a ceramic coating must first clean iron out and clay car so surface is ready for coating. This does not tell you how to leave a virgin surfice.

Will this towel create light scratching if done slowly, very minimal pressure and the proper lubrication.. would rinseless wash be a lubrication

After the clay step do you power wash any residue left over or does this clay towel not leave any?
So would you follow up the bead maker and clay towel with a buff towel to even out the application?
That's what I do it always pays to have a second or 3rd plush towel with one wet as in the first wipe towel to get the best results
