Just started this way of eating Today and doing it for the whole month of may..I've done it before eating 1000 calories a day eating a plant based diet and the weight flew off without hesitation and I was working out at least 4-5 days a week. Unfortunately I fell off got into a relationship and went back to my old ways sure there were times I was hungry but it was the happiest I been in life. It's not easy but eventually your brain will get used to it and the results will help to keep you going ! Good luck brother you got this
I actually feel better since I've switched to lower calories. I only eat from 12pm-6pm and I do practice intermittent fasting. I eat roughly 120 grams of protein. Sunday is my cheat day so I eat about 3500 calories..but then back to 1500 Monday-Saturday. Black coffee from 6am and water until 12pm. I'm never switching from this diet. I'm 44 and feel 20 years younger. I'm 6'1'' and weigh 180lbs. I prefer being lean now that I'm in my forties. I don't care about being the biggest guy anymore. We're all in the same boat. We're trying to lose weight, maintain weight, or gain weight. Good luck to all of you and I hope you find what works best for you and your goals.
I went to get a physical today… i’m 5’1 146 pounds. During the pandemic I was 115. Doing 31 days of 1,078 calorie intake to lose 1.7lbs a week. Thank you for the tips ! I suffer from anxiety & have been bound bound for a year due to health issues. Going back to gym tomorrow but know that’s only a small portion of what really goes into weight loss. @@GabrielDunkin Yess! My doctor says i'm just slightly overweight according to BMI. For me, I am used to being small & petite so the weight gain has made my face look a bit round. I prefer to be on the skinnier side. I look curvy now, which is def a plus butttt I rather get down to 128-130 area.

I've been eating 1000-1200 calories a day for a month now (7/2 to 8/1) and lose 14.3lbs (I'm 5'6 weighing from 238lbs to 223.7lbs now). I don't really set the time frame of when I should eat or what food which I need to eat, just counting on how many calories I eat for a day, that's it. I'll probably lose more weight if I'm discipline with my eating time frame and eat healthier food (yes I'm still eating fast food and snack), but for me who are new to diet life, I'm fine of what I'm doing right now. I also do light exercise 5 days a week and for a day, I do 5 variations with 3x15reps/variations. For each day I focusing on different part of the body. So yeah, It's challenging but when you get used to it, it become much more easier plus you get a new healtier life style (for me at least). Will continue to doing this until December 2023 and my goal is to reach 165lbs. I'm really doing that "new year new me" this time😁 Wish me luck✌🏽

At my heaviest I weighed 640 pounds. I lost 85 to earn weight loss surgery then lost 300 more pounds... then i had 6 skin removal surgeries that took over 60 pounds of loose skin off totalling over 400 pounds lost in just under 3 years. They removed 3/4 of my stomach during my weight loss surgery so now I have sever limits..I can only eat 12 ounces in a sitting before i am so full i want to puke so i struggle to eat 1200 calories a day. I had to learn a lot about nutrition and just want to caution you about cutting all the fat.... Fat gives us nutrition and hormones we need for life that come from no other sources, make sure you eat at least some fats, egg yolk or chicken skin or peanut butter.. any fat will work. ..

I am on 1400 a day to 1800 a day. i flip every other day. Lost 210 but cannot lose much more. easy? not at all. Diet is key, cardio helps, weight training also helps. But if you do everything but get the diet in check then its just wasting time. Took me a while to figure that out but i did. Diet is the foundation of the house. cardio is the furnishings, paint and yard would be the weights. I get so many who as bad as this sounds.... wants me to fail so they can feel good about them. I am not making it up. It is true. I watch them all eat trash all day, drink sodas etc all day, yet say no time for gym or diet because net flix and hulu are calling to them.....

I also eat 1000 to 1250 calories a day, there are hard winers and we are hard losers soo we gotta do like David Goggins for those 900 to 1000 calorie a day diets I do 2 meals a day one light before working out around 400 calories and then I save the remaining 700 to 800 calories for dinner right before going to bed to go to bed full and happy I always put some low calorie sugar thingis like coke 0, 0 calorie jelly and a main dish hight in protein with some salad or grains then I put a protein shake filled with watter I sink that bitch down and I feel like I am about to explode, I wait 30 minutes to 1 hour and I go to sleep happy and full as fuck, for me is soo easy to not be hungry at night if I go to bed after feeling like I can't eat 1 single grain more of food and the protein shake fille with watter makes just that

Lol same thing happened to me, bro. I crash dieted at 1500 calories a day and leaned down from 155 pounds down to 112 pounds in 6 months. I felt amazing for a brief month or so, but I had restricted to fucking much that when I tried to switch over to maintenance, I crashed hard and suddenly became ravenous. Long story short, I developed a binge eating disorder and ballooned back up to 140lbs. Not as bad as my starting weight, and I’ve been training so I definitely have a better body composition, but man, it feels shitty to lose all your progress. I’m cutting again while training 6 days a week so I’m hoping to lean down again, just more slowly and sustainable this time. (Yes I’m small lmao, in case anyone was concreted by the super low weight number, 5’4” male)
@@morematcha I’m back down to 135 rn but have been training hard as fuck so my body composition has dramatically improved. My new goal weight to get lean is probably 120ish. My current TDEE is about 3000 so I eat about 2500 a day to lose a pound a week. Honestly, my best advice is to use the extra calories to really train as hard as you can in the gym. My TDEE also dramatically improved once I began to incorporate cardio 6 times a week and began hitting a minimum of 10k steps a day. Been using macrofactor to measure my expenditure and so far, it’s been the best calorie tracking app I’ve found. Def recommend. Good luck, bro.

Imma start consuming 1110 kcal a day Drinking protein shake with 250 kcal and 40 grams of protein And im also going to eat double tuna fish sandwich which is 360 kcal and 46 grams of protein and also egg whites which has 500 kcals! Some people need to lose weight quickly for health reasons, and some need to do it to see results to give them motivation to keep momentum. It's totally possible to graduate to a more sustainable eating plan when done with this diet.

I do have a blessed life because I have life period. I grew up in the struggle, weeks without electricity, nights without food sometimes, I used to fast before I even knew what fasting was, so I would say I do understand.. but that’s not the point of the video.
You fucking up your metabolism eating like that. eat in a calorie deficit, look up a tde calculator and find out your maintenance calories and take 500 from that, eat that much calories, also do 10,000 steps everyday, and do strength training to build muscle, and you’ll lose that weight.

I would definitely give it a try for 3 weeks and see how the results are, if you don’t seem to be losing as much weight , you’d need to either lower the calorie intake or workout more.
I won’t lie I’m in a tight spot. I have a month to cut enough body fat to join the Army. I’m at 182.7lbs but I want to at least get down to 169lbs. I’m going to do 1000 calories, high protein, moderate fat and see how far I get.
You should be able to do it , when you are done with the cut, raise the calories back up gradually so you don’t gain everything back so quickly and when you’re doing it, eat clean 🙏🏽
I would recommend eating Whole Foods, high protein meals. Steak, chicken, eggs, fish, veggies + fruits. Then workout consistently and you’ll see a change. Try and stay under 2000 calories when you’re starting out and see how much you lose, if you want to lose more , lower the calories
If you only eat 1000 a day + do cardio, wouldn’t that put you into such a large deficit that your metabolism would tank and you would stop losing weight? What im seeing people on youtube say is the exact opposite of reddit so I dont know which to do.

It sounds like it you might be at a plateau, which means everything is stagnant nothing is changing. So what I did to get out of my plateau is a added another workout to my daily routine, you could either add another workout or drop the daily calorie intake number. I recommend trying to add another workout session if you can

Yes, it’ll still be possible. I highly recommend you remain in a caloric deficit, or even try a fast on a few days out of the week. Not only is the fast extremely beneficial, it would help eat at all the stubborn fat on your body throughout this process. Once you have made a full recovery, slowly increase the calorie intake

No. It would be effective, but I promise you you will hate your life. Figure out what you’re maintenance is - probably around 3000 because you’re a big guy. Eat around 2300-2500 with workouts so that it is easier for you

If you’re going to lost the weight, lose it right. Find a maintenance calculator online and subtract 500 from the number it gives you. You’ll lose about 1 lb of fat a week. You’ll lose more total weight but all of it won’t be fat. From there watch trusted fitness UA-camrs. My favorites that will help you are Jeff nippard, will Tennyson, and Greg doucette. Jeff and greg will give you the science while will will help you incorporate it into your everyday life. Whatever you do, please don’t eat 1k a day. You will be starving all the time and you will have a hard time living your daily life. Furthermore, more than likely you will fall off the diet and regain anything you lost and then some. You fucking up your metabolism eating like that. eat in a calorie deficit, look up a tde calculator and find out your maintenance calories and take 500 from that, eat that much calories, also do 10,000 steps everyday, and do strength training to build muscle, and you’ll lose that weight.

Hey brother !! I am currently 220 lbs and 5'10". I want to cut it down to 165 lbs. I am planning for a 1800 cal a day and a 45 mins of walking. Do i need to go to gym or outdoor exercises are enough?
+ is this calorie enough for the start or should cut it down more?
I would definitely give it a try for 3 weeks and see how the results are, if you don’t seem to be losing as much weight , you’d need to either lower the calorie intake or workout more.
I won’t lie I’m in a tight spot. I have a month to cut enough body fat to join the Army. I’m at 182.7lbs but I want to at least get down to 169lbs. I’m going to do 1000 calories, high protein, moderate fat and see how far I get.
You should be able to do it , when you are done with the cut, raise the calories back up gradually so you don’t gain everything back so quickly and when you’re doing it, eat clean 🙏🏽

I would recommend eating Whole Foods, high protein meals. Steak, chicken, eggs, fish, veggies + fruits. Then workout consistently and you’ll see a change. Try and stay under 2000 calories when you’re starting out and see how much you lose, if you want to lose more , lower the calories
If you only eat 1000 a day + do cardio, wouldn’t that put you into such a large deficit that your metabolism would tank and you would stop losing weight? What im seeing people on youtube say is the exact opposite of reddit so I dont know which to do.

It sounds like it you might be at a plateau, which means everything is stagnant nothing is changing. So what I did to get out of my plateau is a added another workout to my daily routine, you could either add another workout or drop the daily calorie intake number. I recommend trying to add another workout session if you can
Remember also, you have to remain disciplined, it’ll last longer than the motivation 💯

I’m trying to do the same thing right now, however I got a eye surgery coming up and I won’t be able to work out at full capacity for a month n I have to be in shape by the end of November, is it still possible? Can I do this deficit and still achieve results if I’m not working out for a week or two?
Yes, it’ll still be possible. I highly recommend you remain in a caloric deficit, or even try a fast on a few days out of the week. Not only is the fast extremely beneficial, it would help eat at all the stubborn fat on your body throughout this process. Once you have made a full recovery, slowly increase the calorie intake

No. It would be effective, but I promise you you will hate your life. Figure out what you’re maintenance is - probably around 3000 because you’re a big guy. Eat around 2300-2500 with workouts so that it is easier for you

If you’re going to lost the weight, lose it right. Find a maintenance calculator online and subtract 500 from the number it gives you. You’ll lose about 1 lb of fat a week. You’ll lose more total weight but all of it won’t be fat. From there watch trusted fitness UA-camrs. My favorites that will help you are Jeff nippard, will Tennyson, and Greg doucette. Jeff and greg will give you the science while will will help you incorporate it into your everyday life.
Whatever you do, please don’t eat 1k a day. You will be starving all the time and you will have a hard time living your daily life. Furthermore, more than likely you will fall off the diet and regain anything you lost and then some.
