bro i eat less calories and yet i still eat more than this guy💀💀💀💀
my go-to type meals are eggs, mushrooms, spinach, sauce of ur choice, onion and fry it
on the side add cucumber, tomato, lettuce, spring onion, raddish and salad cream (only a little salad cream, you can opt for balsamic vinegar)
this is a rough layout and its under 200-300 cals
you dont only need a banana and two coffees for breakfast, get creative witb your resources
I like my salads and genuinely prefer to snack on things like tomatoes, nectarines, bananas, cucumber slices, carrots, etc
things like lunches and dinners i eat a little more but honestly
if i have less callories than him, and even i can afford to have something's like popsicles, and or the odd biscuits, you guys can too!
you dont need to focus on meat and stuff, its important yes but i find it more filling to not waste all your cals on a sandwich, yk?

there are many studies on how eating too little calories affects your health, behavior and mood. changing your body is not about loosing weight fast, its about learning how to listen to your hunger cues and choosing balanced meals. ESPECIALLY as a man, please don't restrict yourself to 1200 cals a day. I've worked with several nutritionists and health experts in mental health clinics and they would be absolutely shocked by this. a deficit of 300- 500 cals is absolutely enough to loose extra weight over time. stay safe.

@@jos-josradvanji6203 The starving mode thing is a myth. It's only true if you eat in a massive deficit for long enough to have very little fat reserves left to burn.
The reasons people regain weight after drastic diets are much simpler: people tend to overeat after undereating. Studies have been done on that, most people end up eating way more calories than before they started being on a diet.
Still, 800-900 calories is insane, I wouldn't even recommend that to a slightly chubby midget.

Theirs a pizza takeaway near me. I checked their calory sheet. One large pizza with a cheese crust and side order came to 1200 lol. That stuffs you as well makes you feel like you've eaten so much.
But yeah your right the reason intimittent fasting works so well isn't due to a window where your body is shedding fat. It's because your just eating all your calories within a tiny window in evening for most. It's all about calories in and out no matter what any nutritionist tries to tell you. They try sell their product weight loss pills or diet plans. Forget it. The reason diets work are due to calory restriction.
All you gotta do is go through life counting calory and eventually you be at perfect bmi. Even If you ate like 2300 a day for some that would be perfect for their bmi so say you where like 25 stone. Consuming 2300 you would lose the weight very slowly but within like 4 years you'd reach like 12.5 stone perfect bmi. That's an example. It's really that simple. Depends how rapid you want to lose the weight. Many fail by just sticking to 1200 but if you can force it into a small window you feel you've eaten alot and likely works alot more.
Intermittent fasting probably has some benefits in terms of detoxing the body and giving the digestive system a break which would overall give you more energy.

    I implore most people;
Don’t eat this few calories. A caloric intake this low will be very hard on you, will likely lead to a loss in muscle as well as fat (muscle burns fat and makes you look leaner at healthier body fat percentages).
Go calculate your theoretical maintenance calories and try eating that for a week while tracking your calories in a note book or my fitness pal. Also, weight yourself after you wake up every day at the same time and make a note each day of the weight. Do this for two weeks. If you see that you gain weight on this many calories, you have three options.
First; you can eat less calories, and about 500 less calories a day will burn a pound of body fat per week, however this is pretty hard for most people to do, so there is nothing wrong with only cutting 250 calories out and burning half a pound. Option 2 is that you eat the same but burn 250-500 extra calories a day. I suggest doing moderate intensity steady state cardio. Get on the elliptical and crank the resistance to what you can manage and push at a good clip. Other forms of cardio are fine as well, choose whatever is fun for you.
Finally there is what I consider the best option which is to burn 250 calories and eat 250 calories less that way you get the best of both worlds and don’t have to murder yourself on a diet.
Set realistic goals and enjoy the journey without ol obsessing over the destination.

I found eating at a 15% calorie deficit worked really good for me, and I re-adjusted every 10-15 lbs I lost. I have to eat a nice large meal to fill full and satiated. So I got good at bulking meals with different veggies but keeping things like cheese and bacon for flavor.

@@sweettea1193 that eating more would mean you have to exercise. At 1200 Cals that’s definitely not true, you can reverse diet until you reach your actual maintenance calories. No grown adult (yes, even a petit 4’ 11 adult) has a maintenance of 1200 calories

When cutting down calories I’d also recommend volume over quantity
I prefer having filling meals and going about my day that frequently snacking
Intermittent fasting is also good for health

Might be a good idea to increase muscle to improve resting metabolic rate and add some cardio so you can get more food in while still cutting.

Do not ever go on a 1200 calorie diet. You will wreck your hormones and get adrenal fatigue which leads to loads of other diseases and issues… eat enough but make healthier choices and stay active. Then you won’t just be skinny - you will actually be HEALTHY and safe.

It would be very much appreciated if you could address this comment as to how consuming 1200 calories a day is a sustainable way for the majority of humans to live ? Iv seen plenty of sparky comments from you without addressing the comments who are questioning this nonsense. I shall wait patiently.

As a women this is literally as much as I’d need to eat to loose 1.5 lbg each week. I’m short and don’t weight that much, plus this would be really healthy for me so I’d say this isn’t too bad. Though for a male you’d you need to eat much more than this for a healthy sustainable weightloss

According to some research I’ve done, it does say the same for me, but someone said that’s a lot to lose in a week so cut by 10-15% of your maintenance and you could still lose weight. You could also carb cycle, where some days you eat below maintenance and some days you eat at or above maintenance since eating 1200 every single day for some people is unrealistic. There are so many different ways to lose weight and I’m learning that

I eat around 1100 to 1400 kcal a day when I want to lose weight, but if I'm gonna stabilize my weight and work out now and then, I try to eat the equivalent of 2200 kcal a day. I always try to have little carbohydrates and sugar. Back in the day when I didn't care about my eating it wasn't unusual for me to just eat a 3000 kcal pizza and soda just cuz I wanted to. Now I'm a lot more disciplined about what I eat.

This isn’t sustainable for the average person! I’ve done this kind of absurd low calorie diet years ago and every time I put the weight back on just as fast as I lost it. It also puts your body in a very high stress environment causing hair loss and all sorts of problems!

    • @TehLiquid
      @TehLiquid Рік тому +9

It's very sustainable in fact, less dishes to do, less money wasted on shitty junkfood. The reason you're putting the weight back on is because you're undisciplined, this isn't a thing you can do then go back to your old lifestyle, it's a complete change to your life. You employ a diet like this, lose weight until you hit your goal, then completely change your life to eating whole foods, meats, NO junkfood, NO fizzy drinks, NO sugar. High fat, moderate protein and viola, you maintain your weight while eating delicious food at your maintenance.

For someone who diets for years and tried many things and actually looks forward to how this calories are calculate, suddnely I see hundreds of people here falling into miths and not considering the other person metabolic characteristics. So sad that in the internet you can say and be wtv you want, but at the end of the day its real life that matters, so are results.
I got the purpose of the video and It was not to show how someone should eat but instead, how someone on 1200kcal can eat. As much I dont agree with too much low calorie diet, I dont know how tall he is, how much he weights, if he has any pathology, what is his TDEE, I know nothing. So instead of me judging his choice of eating 1200kcal a day, I can judgethe content of the video and that is "WHAT A 1200KCAL LOOKS LIKE", he is not saying that you should do it or if its even healthy or not.
If you dont like it, go away.
Dont come to the comments and act like you have a degree on nutritian or are a dietitian or even if you ever read a scientific evidence article about diet. Jesus.
You can hate all you want, but learn something for once and be nice to one another.
