I appreciate the painful yet boring editing job of the orange boxes and the Keys to press It may not seem like much work or important but holy shit it makes the video so much more focusable for me.
I just got the game and wanted to go straight into logistics but when I spawned I saw loads of people moving around and lots of regiments and I didn't want to screw something up or annoy people cause I had no idea what I was doing so I just returned then went to the frontlines. a few hours later I looked and found this video and holy this is is literally a life saver, you covered SO much and so well, thank you!
I know this is old, but just walk up to someone and ask to help. I have literally never had someone say no if it is anything that isn't on the front line. I just learned how to arty from a french dude with broken English and how to front line build from some random german dude. You can actually be a huge help to these players. I saw the arty dude was loading the shells himself which looked slow. So I started loading for him. While we were pounding shells, he explained how you sight the gun and how you know where to shoot. For the german dude, he was nicely asking if someone could make bmat runs for him. So I did that for him and then helped him hammer. He started showing me how the build menu works while we hammered. Technically speaking, these two events were the most boring things I've ever done in foxhole. I helped the french dude shoot 200 shells. We were occasionally getting counter shelled, but we never died and were right next to spawn, so we weren't really scared. But the french dude told me after we fired about a 100 to go back to the front and have a look and our shells had made a HUGE difference. The front was pushed back like 3 trench lines from where I was fighting before I helped him load shells. With the german guy, people cheered every time we managed to get up another piece of the line despite constant harassment.
The foxhole logi tutorial we needed 28:27 protip: you can take one crate on yourself for a total of 16 crates (4 full orders) in one factory run 31:25 get a gun too in case of partisan 34:26 I like to set spawn to see my own supply pop up as if I am the one receiving them
You know... I know you can take crates in your inventory without overencumbering yourself yet somehow I always forget (just like in the video) Yeah, probably should have included carrying a gun. I usually set my spawn as well to see the popup (it does make you feel good)
I'm brazilian player and i didn't find a complete tutorial (im portuguese) as yours explaining so detailed playing as logistic. I only have to apreciate this and your time doing this. Thank u.
It's been mentioned a few times, but as a new player, you could not have made things more clear for me. Amazing job on the video! Cant wait to start getting supplies out to the front!
It's one of the reasons I switched to doing videos instead of in game teaching (which is more rewarding to be fair). Some things are just hard to explain without the visuals, like the menus of half the structures are hard to explain to a new player whereas it is easy to show in a video (or on stream). So I'm happy to be of service
Thanks so much for your patience making this video. What many people would consider to be 'small boring' details are actually very helpful for new players like myself.
Appreciate that and hope it was worth it. But never hesitate to ask questions like these ingame, there's always people willing to answer questions (especially the Logi chat channel is pretty helpfull generally)
Very helpful info! Instead of working at my job I listened to this and learned everything I needed to help with Logi. Coming in as a new player it's a little bit daunting and can feel overwhelming to do anything. Like it's my time being wasted? Am I helping out my team? This vid really gave me the confidence needed to jump in and start supporting my team properly. Thank you!

Despite remembering general ideas of how to do logistics, I watched the whole video just for the wealth of information and the effort that went into it. Thank you, sir.
Picked up the game recently because of the new update and I’m looking to run logi. This video is going to be extremely helpful in walking me through the steps.
Very useful stuff. An hour plus video and already at 1:10 you've saved me countless hours and an unfathomable ammount of clicks. Probavly not maining backline, but I'd like to demistify the proccess. Kinda felt like flip a coin for logi delivery, roll a D20 for tine expected. Apart from maybe clearing partisans. If you're watching this after date of comment, there's a bit more added with empty crates, but more than enough here to get you started manufacturing or scrooping.
This is so unbelievably informative, even for people not planning to do a lot of logi work. I just bought the game, I found a clan but still not 100% sure what I want to do. This video has given me tons of insight and a lot to think about though. GREAT stuff!
Thank you for your kind words! That was indeed the aim to be very informative at the risk of being tedious. Always happy to hear that for most people it seems to strike the correct balance (or they don't mind skipping around which is why the chapters are ther for)
New player here, this is brilliant. The game is overwhelming with info on screen without really giving you the info you need. This tutorial was very well done. Thank you for this good sir!
Just got the game and I've been trying to find decent videos for entry before hopping in (so I don't screw up things for others), but most channels almost always skip over keybinds or expect you to know exactly where points of interest and supplies are kept. And while I'm sure there are other channels laying out all the details newer players might need, I'm glad that I found one of them that does it properly. Thanks for the info and the mind-numbing editing that probably went into this. By the looks of it, you're already getting heaps of thanks from others, but figured I'd chime in too. Cheers.
Just looking to add this game to my list for pre-Christmas winter this year, and came across this title. With enough coffee, and this video, I began to think that even _I_ could play this game! Good job!
Man, I was looking for a video like this, just an explanation of all of the things. Thank you a lot, now I will understand more what I am aiming for when I'm in logi part
Amazing stuff. I just started in the game like 3 days ago and after dying several times on the front decided I much prefer mining and crafting and transporting stuff. Last night I got my first "commended" after following this video to build a truck, salvage, craft and deliver soldier supplies, ammo and loughcasters to a base where they said they needed them in the little Logi chat window. I'm having the time of my life :D
This was such a great tutorial! Thank you for putting it together. This was obviously a ton of work, and the extra work was super appreciated! One recommendation I would make would be to update the "left/right click" icon to something else. Every time it showed up, I thought it was referring to the opposite mouse button due to what was highlighted. Maybe I am the only one who was confused.. still, maybe an arrow pointing to the correct button would be better? Anyway, thanks again for the video! Extremely helpful!
The mouse button graphic is consistenly the most discussed topic in the comments I think ;). I try to mention, especially in the beginning, the button I am pressing so hopefully the connection is made between button and graphic. But I am evaluating on occasion how well it translates. And thank you for the kind words! Much appreciated
Thank you for this video I'm a brand new logic player in foxhole. I learned a lot from this appreciate it greatly. In fact, I think you know more than the guys that I'm playing with. You learn, you seem to know what You're doing again thanks From the new guy
Just got this game a few days ago and started figuring out how supplies at bases work. And noticed that most of the time frontline bases are missing key things that help us push forward and wanted to know how I could build and get that equipment where it needs to go. Thanks for this awesome video explaining EVERYTHING I could possibly want to know on the subject!
If somehow there is still something I missed, always feel free to ask questions in game as well. There's more than enough people wanting to help people and answer questions
@@FreerkHoltes You're right there does seem to be a lot of people willing to help. Funny thing happened the first night I played. An enemy soldier somehow wandered into our base and had no idea what he was doing. Like I mean RIGHT into the safe house. One of the guys there told us not to shoot and started to explain things to him about the game. Then someone spawned in, started yelling in Spanish while the guy kept saying "Don't shoot!" and killed the guy, then left. Never seen anything like it before and I have been gaming since the 80's lol.

Very useful video, thanks! Was playing about 10hrs and still wondering about some of these mechanics, now I know
thus tutorial really helped me get a handle on logi! now i can actually be useful since i absolutely suck at shooting in this game
Most of us do, it's why we need so much ammo :D
Just last night I went to bed wishing you made an updated Logi video for 2023, are you Santa?
Thanks for keeping it going, man.
I can neither confirm nor deny being Santa.
This is the most detailed guide I have ever seen. Good job!!!
Thank you very much for the kind words!
Thanks for making these guide to help newer players Freerk.
You are welcome
Prolly the best Logi video I’ve seen. Very helpful!
Thanks! Always happy to hear!
Amazing video, especially for a new player such as myself! I am proud to say that I can help the frontlines thanks to you.
And I am happy to hear that I helped in a small way with that :D
This video is done so well that I now want do play logi again. Even if I perfectly know that this become a full time job when you play it.
I was on last night and was supplying the baths was planing to do it for an hour at most ended up doing it for 6 hours
That is the logi life.
I think it is the equivalent of the "just one more turn" of the Civilization games: "just one more delivery"
thank you, awesome helpful! :D
Awesome to hear and welcome to the logi life! Where the pace is slower and death less prevalent ;).
Thanks for the guide!
You're welcome!
Great Job explaining things out. Salute to this an hour video about logistics. Thanks
Thank you! An hour to teach for a lifetime of supplies
Thank you for this video I'm a brand new logic player in foxhole. I learned a lot from this appreciate it greatly. In fact, I think you know more than the guys that I'm playing with.
You learn, you seem to know what You're doing again thanks From the new guy
Always happy to hear I helped somebody out. And don't hesitate to ask questions in game as well. Especially logi chat is usually very helpfull
Amazing video. Very clear and well organized. thanks buddy.
You are very welcome
Never seen anything like it before and I have been gaming since the 80's lol.
thanks thats the optimal beginner guide. very detailed!
You are very welcome. Always happy to hear it is appreciated
Helped a lot, thanks
Good to hear
