For tip #51. Make sure that the vehicle isn't squad locked either. If it is then you can put stuff in the vehicle but can't take it out or use it until the squad lock turns off (which takes around 45 mins). To check, you can create your own squad by yourself and if the vehicle will not give you the option to put the squad lock on, it means the vehicle is already locked to another squad.
True! I should have mentioned squad lock for sure! My way of checking squad lock is putting default hammer into truck then trying to pull it out. If it's squad lock your hammer will get stuck.
If you find a vic that's squad locked, just search for the squad and request invite. Then unsquad it and leave squad. Works about 87% of the time and usually the squad doesn't mind because they're doing something else and have abandoned the vic.

Late to the party but for Tip# 72 of Using spacebar to break. Nope. What you really want to do is hit Z! What z does is changes you to the nearest empty seat in the vic and at the same time instantly halts the vehicle. Like 100mph to Dead stopped. This is really important for heavier vics like Large Rail Trains as hitting vehicle with a train will weapon lock you which prevents you from be able to use cranes.

Tip 101 is actually something you should carry with you IRL. People are way more likely to help you with something if you specifically chose someone instead of waiting for a volunteer. Obviously don't do it too often (people generally don't like getting ordered to do something) but if something needs to happen immediately it can come in handy.
Exactly. Hard agree with this. I was actually taught in First Aid and CPR class this that you need to pick and point at someone to call 911 instead of just saying "someone call 911." I think of it the same way in Foxhole when you need something done. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
I learned a tip about ditching Logi trucks on Frontlines and respawning in the back lines. Now I know whose been leaving all of those trucks to get blown up by artillery. Robert.
I'm not sorry about it. lol And hey those logi trucks are useful as long as people know where to park them! I have used them for short logi runs and moving bmats around to helps builders! They are not completely useless ha
In the map ctrl + shift clicking on any item twice make it the only item shown. Then click again in the only item with ctrl and shift and make a normal click to set your map again. Very useful for fields, refirnery, seaport.... Also in a respawn point or stockpile/seaport it's really easy for me to use A and D to move and select items faster or check whats inside. If you doing it with the mouse you find out the mod useful but I just scroll right and check or retrieve. Takes very few time to get use to the item config/order in that way.
The advice to join a regi if you want to LEARN the game is really good advice. Lots of people get solo supremacy syndrome much too early, or think that solo play is the best way to play casually, and that’s just not true, the game is too dense with meta and obtuse mechanics to really be able to learn and enjoy it without some other players to help you. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with playing solo, and you can always leave later, but joining a regiment is the best way hands down to actually learn the game do that you can commit to that solo lifestyle
You got it exactly right! If you want to play casual solo is fine. Just know you may be limited in some activities that you do or what you build. I have a lot of solo hours and can always find something fun to do. Regiments will help you learn this game quick and you can participate in bigger operations and use higher tier items more often. And exactly. Nothing wrong with being a solo player. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on that!
With my 1k our, I learn only 1 thing, the ctrl click for split, but even if I alteady know all the rest, the video was just nice to watch, and I gonna send it at some new players !
For tip #43 - it's actually our BB+facility lol :D [EKrus] regiment. And yeah, that one parking lot you showed in a video is actually a public parking lot, so I personally, as a dude who set up those gates and bunkers, oficially giving everyone permission to drive those trucks from us :D P.S. Ash Fields, scrap field near Ashtown, have deployment point
I did see the sign for public vehicles but your base was the closet one with lots of vehicles to use as an example lol! Appreciate you all are open to people using vehicles most facilities are not ha Thanks for having a welcoming base!
When on map view, Shift+Left Mouse Click on an icon on the map legend to un-select/select all icon but the one you choose. Really useful command to find one specific building 😶🌫
lol! I didn't know for the longest time as well! At 1,500 hours I am still learning something new every week it feels like. And no problem! Glad it helped :D
The prone one is funny, it’s more that because there’s not height features (6 inches highthat in IRL make a prone spot tactically worthwhile. If you’re on a high ground, prone is worthy as folks have to look up. And you make room for a friendly to shoot behind you over your shoulder. It’s risky but has its place. Regarding trucks: ah yes, there’s a lot of tension between taking one because they’re cheap and you’re doing useful work, vs. grabbing for what a motorcycle or bike could do better. Mostly intruband go with the carpool rule: get one person in there with you, or use it to help someone specific that asked for something specific. (God I hate hammering out a CV to schlep supplies into a Border base-) It’s even worse with barges, which take a lot more time to hammer out early game and make a big difference on whether an island can do useful warfighting or not. A “littoral warfare annex” to this (boat tips) could be fun
Sometimes player's don't have time to bring a logi truck to the nearest storage depot or seaport. Plus having a few logi trucks near the front can be helpful for those that want to do quick logi runs from the front.
BRP MENTIONED HELLDIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways, good video, sameas the other guy, I dont have it, but I watch the video. Also, there is no most important, there is , most in need of. if there are enought soldier, we might be in need of logi players
3:12 Poor LessTro... I wonder how he's doing now 😭😅 also had to LOL at getting called "The Enemy" hahaha I'M COMING FOR ALL OF YOUR TANKS!!!! MUHAHAHAHA
Nice! Should be on sale here in the next month or so! And artillery and building role is fun once you know what you are doing. I would recommend joining a regiment when you play to start learning the basics. It can be really difficult to learn everything on your own. Feel free to DM me on discord if you need help finding a regiment or have any questions about the game.
I hate people that park their shit in the roads. Especially when I am running logi. I now take a wrench with me aswell as some gas so I can move vehicles to the sides. Helps when I am running a route multiple times.
Great question! The short answer is that they do pile up yes. But... Logi trucks are worth 100 bmats. It can take a player less than 10 minutes to make 750bmats sometimes more if they use flatbeds or small engines. So in the grand scheme of things a 100bmat logi truck left on the front is not that big of a deal. The second thing worth noting about this is sometimes I am fighting on a front and notice that we need some supplies. If I am able to find a logi truck on the front that I can use to drive and get supplies that will be much quicker than me spawning again and trying to find a truck. This is all my personal experience and opinion and other players might have different thoughts on it. Thanks for asking your question! Let me know if you have any more questions!
As of late July 2024, tip #74 might be outdated. The tutorial island is being updated in the coming patch and will contain much more useful content than it used to. The advice of asking for help is still relevant and probably will be until Foxhole dies.
Good call. The island is looking much better and the logi area is really helpful! But yes I would still say asking players is the way to go! Thanks for helping keep this update!
Been looking at this game for ages, is it worth it? and if I got it how would you recommend I start; Frontlines or logistics. What faction should I join even? Thanks in advance! :)
Faction doesn't matter. The game is probably worth it because there are so many different tasks or combat roles that you can do. For starting out, it really depends on what you want out of the game. Generally, just going up to the front lines and trying to play infantry is a decent place to start. The best and worst part of Foxhole is how complicated the game is. If you're going to buy it, be prepared to be patient and not fully understand how everything works for a few hundred hours at least. Barebones basics can be learned in a handful of sessions though. My most recent learning experience was how to attach things to the hitch of trucks
I'm probably biased but I really like it! What looks the most interesting to you? Infantry or logistics? Any faction is fine when you start. I'm currently playing Collie for current war and the next. So if you want any help from me feel free to join Colonial. Also you can join the discord link in the description and DM if you get the game and I can help show you around if you want! Or at least answer any questions.
I will join the discord when I get the game (pretty soon) and id appreciate any help. Are you a part of a clan or do you play more casualy? Just wondering because ive liked the idea of those big organised landings/invasions and stuff, There rlly cool imo. :)@@RobertLovesGames
There are specific clans that do navy and invasions I could help you find one! I normally am in pretty chill logi clans that hangout in the back crafting, building and making supplies. Talk to you soon! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Do not dig trenches in straight lines. Do not connect every trench to each other. These make you an enemy asset and the reason why salty vets hate trenches. Use smoke grenades, for god's sake use them to obscure your own movements from enemy rifles or to stop the AI from firing. A bunker can hold three people but makes you susceptible to suppression. Firing slits ensure more people are firing out of a bunker but leaves you susceptible to return fire. Make sure the firing slits are facing towards the enemy's direction. Foxholes, the real ones, are only as good as where you have dug them. Done right and you'll be a major pain to uproot. Do not place barbed wire directly in front of a trench. Place them at least 25 meters away. 1:06 Going prone is not a universal suicide stance, it can and does save you from dying immediately out in the open but don't use it all of the time. Only when the situation calls for it. Mass charges are fine and all but doing them with grenades increases the likelihood for success. Speaking from the delivering and receiving end of successful storm tactics. Throw grenades, go over the top, hear the boom, gun down the stragglers running or bleeding out. Do not stay in one position in a trench unless you're mounting a gun. Learn how to use the goddamned mortar. Even that small amount of fire support is valuable. Bring some guns for a mammon rush. Those few seconds of the rushers not being focused down can make all the difference. Do not run around in urban combat. At every corner, a gun can be pointed at you. Run with caution from cover to cover or building to building with a purpose. Advice is advice not the word of gospel.
Foxhole used to be my favorite game. But I took a break, and when I came back the whole map was different, full of hexes. I was a logi main, but now the entire system is different and huge. Too much to learn to get back into =(
Ha! I did so much battle looting when I first started playing. I've become more tame now because I actually want to fight instead of being a janitor on the battlefield. Now I only bring the really important stuff back like bmats or anti tanks stuff.
You can right click on other players and find the commend button to commend them or you can press F1 and find there name in the region and click on their name and commend them as well. Items in seaports and storage depots already should be crates. If you want to make more crated items you can do so at factories in every backline logi town and some midline logi towns. Let me know if you have any other questions! Feel free to join the discord in the description I can answer questions there much faster!
The best and the most accurate is the tip for using Discord Official Servers for meme's , please don't disscus there the problems with Foxhole , the developers know about them 😂😂💀
A lot of players have their first battle on bridge battles it seems ha. Glad you learned a lot and hopefully you found some more fronts! :D Thanks for sharing that!
If you don’t mind bridge battles then go for it! I’ve been defending Tomb of the First a lot this war but I can’t stand waiting or dying a bunch on a bridge ha
You forgot that you can so Shift+R or L mouse click, or both at the same time while on the legend of the map. I've yet to see the rest of the vid tho im @ 12:44 so far.
I didn't get a name but a buddy was telling me about two weeks ago that a clan he joined when he first started had mandatory hours for players to log on to make sure mssups were in there base to keep it up. I have never seen one of these clans but I am sure they are out there.
Well if they do exist they won't exist for very long. 82DK hold scrap patrols and Logi sessions but if anyone suggest making them mandatory they would be laughed out of the park. If you ask me this has probably only happened a handful of times and was probably the idea of a 15 year old without a wife, kids and a house. That or a 30 year old with the same statistics.
@@RobertLovesGames Technically they are, but it's not enforced. If I remember correctly the ToS were changed relatively recently and in particular it became more draconian regarding external tools, and autoclicker and other macro tools fall into the category of things that are not allowed to run while playing the game.
PS: windows has a native feature called "ClickLock" in the mouse settings which allows you to make it so that a click is held if you press it for more than a set amount of seconds, which can alleviate some of the UX issues of foxhole, and technically is not against ToS... no autoclick feature though
@@warwizard1309 I tried that. Was to much of a hassle compared to OP auto clicker. Thanks for sharing that though in case no one wants to download the auto clicker!

DO NOT LEAVE TRUCKS AT THE FRONTLINE! BRING THEM BACK TO THE DEPOT YOU LOGI'D FROM. TIP 52 IS VERY BAD ADVICE. IF WE FIND YOUR ABANDONED TRUCK AT THE FRONTLINE WE WILL PRESS GANG YOU INTO SCROOP MINE SERVICE!!!!!
No. It's 100bmats and sometimes I don't have 10-15 minutes to drive it back. Sometimes I will store it in midline storage depot or seaport. But I am not taking it back to the backline. Devs need way to recycle it for materials or way to crate them back up with 3 other trucks again. 100bmats is not worth my time.
It's not a matter of production cost it's a matter of availability. Most frontlines don't have a garage so if everyone leaves their trucks at the front and no one brings them back you end up with depots full of supplies and no logi trucks to deliver them. @@RobertLovesGames
@@otischamp Backlines have plenty of logi trucks. Supply is not the issue. Check MPF's or local parking lots in backline hexes. Plenty of logi trucks around.
@@RobertLovesGames You say that until there's a parking lot of (squad) locked trucks at the front, no wrenches, empty MPF, no other trucks or wrenches within two hexes at worst, wasting time trying to get or make either one, leading to a stalled push because supplies were running low due to most of logi for that push abandoning their trucks at the front to fight on the front. Yeah, those 100 bmats aren't worth the inconvenience until they are.
@@johndane9754 Except in my situation I'm talking about ditching the logi truck to spawn in the back to get another run for supplies. An example of when I don't ditch my logi truck is like this war I have been going from Sableport to Westgate to drop off supplies. Those hexes are so close I never leave my logi truck. But when I do ashtown to westgate I do leave my logi truck and head back to Ashtown through home region because driving back is not worth my time. what is msup tax evade, what is VG subregion and also what is the VP subregion?
we need another 100 tips!
tip 101, always set 9 crates in the mpf(5 for vehicles)
With as many other tips people have written we are getting close to another 100 ha
+1 on this ... the game is so huge we can probably think of another chunk of tips. My fav tip here was #88
As my officers always tell me “remember your only worth 8 bmats”
Lol! It’s actually a really good thing to remember on the front!
my what?
Mine only said 7
shift+E to select a lot of things that they are very close to each other
ex : a lot of items on the ground .
That is an excellent one! Defiantly should have put that in the infantry one because I am constantly doing that on the front!
Thanks for adding that!
Flanking was the best tip :D
As the pro Foxhole flanker I’m glad you think so! Everyone sub to Dadamage for best Foxhole flanks!
Just flank brah
that drift road kill was GOD TIER 😂😭
lol can't be mad about a death that stylish
Robert.
I'm not sorry about it. lol
And hey those logi trucks are useful as long as people know where to park them! I have used them for short logi runs and moving bmats around to helps builders! They are not completely useless ha
I got the game yestersay and am loving it
Nice! That's awesome to hear! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help with anything!
What?!? I didn't know this after 1600+ hours of playing!! lol
Great tips! Thanks for sharing these!
I had no clue running on the road gave you a speed boost.
Grass is so slow!! Use the road but carefully.
*Use the side of the road*
The roads are also wider than they look. You can drive full speed pretty far to the side.
It also depletes your stamina slower when running.
@@agate_jcg True! Thanks for adding that!
With my 1k our, I learn only 1 thing, the ctrl click for split, but even if I alteady know all the rest, the video was just nice to watch, and I gonna send it at some new players !
Glad you learned one thing! And thanks for sharing it with new players! Glad you think it’s helpful!
3:14 This is wild.
lol! Poor new players ha
For tip #43 - it's actually our BB+facility lol :D [EKrus] regiment. And yeah, that one parking lot you showed in a video is actually a public parking lot, so I personally, as a dude who set up those gates and bunkers, oficially giving everyone permission to drive those trucks from us :D
P.S. Ash Fields, scrap field near Ashtown, have deployment point
I did see the sign for public vehicles but your base was the closet one with lots of vehicles to use as an example lol!
Appreciate you all are open to people using vehicles most facilities are not ha
Thanks for having a welcoming base!
3:34 did the exact same thing at the same part of the map earlier
Nice! Hope you had better luck than me :D
When on map view, Shift+Left Mouse Click on an icon on the map legend to un-select/select all icon but the one you choose. Really useful command to find one specific building 😶🌫
I didn't know that one! LOL! 1,100 hours never knew I could do that.
Thank you!
HOLY SHIT THERES A BRAKE FOR TRUCKS!? As a new player whose been active for only 2weeks. Thanks this video and the others help alot.
Yea going prone is super risky! ha!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
9:31 "hyak murder" has be laughing so hard
lol I loved that!
Tip 23 had me rolling 😂
lol! Sometimes being a leader works out and sometimes it goes terribly wrong. But at least they tried :D
Great tips, thanks dude!
Thanks! Hope you learned something new!
3:26 dude was so mad he got fooled and dude took his tank 😂
Lol not the best move to make in a tank
Never do #52. It's mega shit for logi. Everything is tight enough as it is. Always bring your vehicle to the next depot or seaport

3:14 way to easy lol and Kruuuuuze has to be wearing a black beanie too
lol! Feel so bad for that new player :D
I'm waiting for winter sale, how's arty role and being builder?
Is there a faster way to unload the ammo from a mounted weapon?
Trying to unload it to move it? Shift click would be the fastest that I know of.
I hate people that park their shit in the roads. Especially when I am running logi. I now take a wrench with me aswell as some gas so I can move vehicles to the sides. Helps when I am running a route multiple times.
I always have a wrench on me for vehicles in the way or just unlocking vehicles so other people can use in the future.
3:20 sorry for the photo bomb in kruuze's clip
Good catch!
😄
Question, if logi trucks are to be left at the frontlines, won't they just pile up?
@@RobertLovesGames Thanks for the advice!
Almost immediately warcrimes are recommended
lol this is the way!
@RobertLovesGames recommendation #1 "Remember to have fun!"
Recommendation #2 "Shoot the medics first! 😋"
Too much to learn to get back into =(
Sorry you feel that way! :( If you ever decide to come back feel free to DM me on discord and I can try and help you learn all the new stuff :D
Begin the scavenger ops. :D
Ha! I did so much battle looting when I first started playing. I've become more tame now because I actually want to fight instead of being a janitor on the battlefield. Now I only bring the really important stuff back like bmats or anti tanks stuff.
@@RobertLovesGames Now I just go into battle without a weapon and loot the dead for myself. Of course I grab a bandage at HQ first though.
@@WebsterHelios Good call!
does this game ever go on sale on steam?
Should be going on sale in the next week or two. Normally goes 25% off.
Feel free to DM me in discord any time you have any questions!
2.8 seconds yes. The amount of time to make way for a tank😂😂😂
lol!
Spacebar + A/D to turn tighter in a Freighter...

what does getting bailed mean?
What's the time stamp? I don't know if I remember off the top of my head which tip that is said in ha
@@RobertLovesGames 12:02 i might just be stupid tho lol
How do I commend medics? And how do I get normal items from a port and make them in to crates.
Wait!! You can rotate the camera!?
lol yep! I didn't know you could do that as well when I first started :D
What does "getting bailed" mean in this game?
Could be referring to navy? Like bailing out water? That's the only thing I can think of unless you give me another example.
@@RobertLovesGames you mentioned it at tip #90 around 12:00
The best and the most accurate is the tip for using Discord Official Servers for meme's , please don't disscus there the problems with Foxhole , the developers know about them 😂😂💀
lol exactly! People just get to salty talking about game meta. I know we should have balance discussions but some people take it a little to far.
is there an active in-game voice chat?
Yes! It's very active. Probably one of the most proxy in-game voice chats I've ever seen besides like VR chat rooms.
6:55 poor guy 😔

I made the mistake of having a bridge battle being my first battle, I learned a lot but got nowhere
A lot of players have their first battle on bridge battles it seems ha. Glad you learned a lot and hopefully you found some more fronts! :D Thanks for sharing that!
When shadow dancing if you get hit go prime or crouch
Why is that?
Because if you get hit, you can’t move that well, so if you crouch you have a better chance of surviving because if you’re here you’re dead
Too bad, im new but it'll always a bridge battle that needed more reinforcement
If you don’t mind bridge battles then go for it! I’ve been defending Tomb of the First a lot this war but I can’t stand waiting or dying a bunch on a bridge ha
You forgot that you can so Shift+R or L mouse click, or both at the same time while on the legend of the map. I've yet to see the rest of the vid tho im @ 12:44 so far.

Lol what clans have mandatory login to make supplies? That's funny.
That or a 30 year old with the same statistics.
lol you are probably right.
isn't the autoclicker a cheat by foxhole rules?
Not that I am aware of. I think every builder and logi player would be banned if it was ha
How to auto run/drive. Kinda bug but ohh well. Existed for years. Press ENTER, HOLD DOWN CONTROL while you press W 1x. Then press Enter again. You auto walk forward/drive. Very important for those long drives.
10:30 half of does were on purpose lol
Kronus. Lol.
Always a treat to watch Kronus ha!
Imagine having launched a full release game with the tutorial literally being useless and outdated.
Ha! Small dev team literally so I can’t blame them to much.
Also I never leave a logi truck locked on the front and park it somewhere safe and not in front of AI.
Appreciate your thoughts on this!
