Everyone wonders why the Ghoul doesn't fare better against Maximus, particularly after certain revelations at the end of the series. There are several reasons, but it just occurred to me that even if Lucy's tranquilizer couldn't take him down, it could still have slowed him down, just enough to affect his judgement, his aim, and his dodging.
The series is so good because the showrunners are fans of the games and don't just say that in interviews (like J.J. Abrams: "I'm a huge Star Trek fan". In reality, he hadn't seen a single episode of Star Trek until he got the job to direct the 2009 Star Trek Movie)
the dude is legendary! seriously, i can't think of a single actor in this series that wasn't top tier. everyone from top to bottom was exemplary, but there are 2 in particular that, in my opinion, need to reprise their roles in season 2 and fikkin chukker dude is one of them!🙂
Literally watched the ep. 1 reaction three hours ago while working, after watching today’s One Piece reaction, and was sad there was only one of these to add to my workflow. And now I’ve just lucked out 😂
Flying limbs and exploding head are very common in fallout universe, yes, and pile of bodies. As a player that’s what you see almost every hour you played🤣.
So with taking the head is following along with how a quest in Fallout would be. You would be told in the quest to take the head. That is the funny gruesome dark humor that the games are known for.
"Get choppin'!" She starts with the saw. "OH NO! I can't look at it!" God, you're so funny :D Yeah the show is quite gory at times. And the beginning...you catched the insect, I guess? 😂😂😂 I love it!
If you've ever seen a picture of a bear that's lost its fur to Mange or whatever, they look absolutely terrifying. Just all claws and teeth, nothing cuddly at all. In the games they are called Yao Guai for some reason.
He is indeed shooting gyrojet rounds, which are just tiny missiles. something like 5 dozen guns were made to shoot it. it failed commercially for obvious reasons.
@@mawortz The rounds require extremely fine tolerance machining, so are expensive. Even if well made they are inaccurate and have poor range. Also, since they gain most of their velocity outside the barrel, if the target is too close, they won't be going very fast. The only real benefit is a low recoil, light weapon.
No it's not a GyroJet :) It's a *prop* not a real weapon, but based off the STS 255 revolver shotgun, this version seems to be in 28 gauge (.545) and break action not swing out. Those big straight walled cartridges would be very potent (needed for all the mutants) and easier to manufacture & reload in the wasteland than complex rimless shouldered cartridges. And you can see he has a variety of different ammo, later in series you can see he has armour piercing sabot rounds ;)
I don't care anything about what else he did. That doctor saving that puppy redeemed him. He deserved better than having his head being used for keepaway lol

The Enclave was actually the remnants of a high cel of the US Government. They had all kinds of terrible nefarious plans for humanity after the war. The Enclave is the bad guys in Fallout.
I have been a Fallout fan since the very first game and I am so excited to see your blind reaction to this universe and all the events and lore and CRRRRRRAZY shit you're going to see lol the games have always been a mix of horror/comedy to an extent with New Vegas and 4 being more comedy with atrocities sprinkled in lol

Maximus always hits his nose haha
The series is so good because the showrunners are fans of the games and don't just say that in interviews (like J.J. Abrams: "I'm a huge Star Trek fan". In reality, he hadn't seen a single episode of Star Trek until he got the job to direct the 2009 Star Trek Movie)
3:10 this is an Assaultron
Something fun. The older guy who was having his chickens "scientifically tested" is also the makeup artist for the show
the dude is legendary! seriously, i can't think of a single actor in this series that wasn't top tier. everyone from top to bottom was exemplary, but there are 2 in particular that, in my opinion, need to reprise their roles in season 2 and fikkin chukker dude is one of them!🙂
@@chickensalt8407 I did not know that, and yeah, he was one of the funniest parts of the show.
I never thought about that with tumbleweed. They have tv's and westerns were popular in this world she probably should have known what that was.
Literally watched the ep. 1 reaction three hours ago while working, after watching today’s One Piece reaction, and was sad there was only one of these to add to my workflow. And now I’ve just lucked out 😂
Behold, Kiss, the mosquito slayer. 🤯
3:09 Robot? YES indeed it's an Assaultron a type of robot encountered in the Commonwealth. Far from home and it's seen better days
I haven't been watching the anime reactions, and I still need to watch Shogun, so it's been a while. It's good to see both your reactions again.
I don’t think you’ll need to worry about copyright on the music. I’m not entirely sure, but music that old usually is clear of that.
Flying limbs and exploding head are very common in fallout universe, yes, and pile of bodies.
As a player that’s what you see almost every hour you played🤣.
I know it looks a little like a German Shepard..but the dog in the series is a Belgian Malinois. :)
"Holy cow." Does that holy cow have two heads?
Michael rapaport wasnt even given a script, the director said "youre insufferable as it is, just be your normal self"
Lucy is the best character
This is a hilarious watch (and there's more to come)
The actor for the ghoul has acted in a lot of weaterns specificly Django Unchained and Hateful Eight
So with taking the head is following along with how a quest in Fallout would be. You would be told in the quest to take the head. That is the funny gruesome dark humor that the games are known for.
If you guys dont know Michael Emerson, may i suggest a reaction to Lost or Person of Interest. You will be amazed
I will second Person of Interest. Emerson is great in it and it's an unusual but accessible show. Also, there's a Belgian Malinois in that show, too.
such a cute intro lmao xD
"Get choppin'!"
She starts with the saw.
"OH NO! I can't look at it!"
God, you're so funny :D Yeah the show is quite gory at times.
And the beginning...you catched the insect, I guess? 😂😂😂 I love it!
we found the empath of the two, lol
This show was better then i was expecting tbh
If you've ever seen a picture of a bear that's lost its fur to Mange or whatever, they look absolutely terrifying. Just all claws and teeth, nothing cuddly at all. In the games they are called Yao Guai for some reason.
Yao guai is mandarin for monster/demon. Like yokai in Japanese
It's also a Yogi Bear joke.
Because they steal picinic baskets!
They were named by Chinese Americans trapped in internment camps even after the war
@@astromancer9819 That comes up in the Old World Blues DLC for F:NV, right? It's on someone's old terminal entry anyway.
He is indeed shooting gyrojet rounds, which are just tiny missiles.
something like 5 dozen guns were made to shoot it.
it failed commercially for obvious reasons.
which are the obvious reasons?
Problem is they look nothing like gyrojet rounds but perhaps they went with it for artistic purposes
No it's not a GyroJet :)
It's a *prop* not a real weapon, but based off the STS 255 revolver shotgun, this version seems to be in 28 gauge (.545) and break action not swing out.
Those big straight walled cartridges would be very potent (needed for all the mutants) and easier to manufacture & reload in the wasteland than complex rimless shouldered cartridges.
And you can see he has a variety of different ammo, later in series you can see he has armour piercing sabot rounds ;)
@@silverbladeTE OTs-62 is what the Ghoul's gun is based on
That's the woman from breaking bad. The one squished her husbands head with an arm.
Omg, how come i never noticed
Are they gnats??? My house has been invaded by gnats. 100s of gnats. So annoying!!!
the dog isnt a german shepard its a Belgian Malinois and the charactors name is CX404
Lol, 404 not found
@@jordanpeterson5140 "Canine eXperiment, not found", arguably...
I don't care anything about what else he did. That doctor saving that puppy redeemed him. He deserved better than having his head being used for keepaway lol
yay! just watched episode 1 and subscribed. then you post episode 2 right after! XD love it
R.I.P mosquittos
Your gagging got me gagging lmaoooo
This is the record amount of little barfs from Kiss ^_^
That would be a Yao Gui. Pronounced "ya-owh gweye"(original mandarin) or "yogi"(as in the bear that steals your picinic basket), both are acceptable.
I think you guys would have SO much fun watching Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon! Really funny show (even some really good moments in serious situations that i still think about LOL)
Yao Guai are no joke...
(Mutated bear).
I can't wait to see paladin Danse and the Synths.
I wonder how they will portray Shaun and what happened in vault 111.
You do realize this show is set 9 years after fallout 4, and is on the opposite side of the U.S. from the Boston Commonwealth? I highly doubt Danse or Father will be in the show.
I can remember shutting myself into my basement apartment in Chicago and only leaving to go to work so I could do nothing but play the original Fallout when it was released. My friends thought I'd died or something. 😅 And then I saw the demo for 2 a year or two later at GenCon, my lower intestine fell right the fuck out.😮
who are the Enclave (where he escaped from) is the real question, you find out about them in Fallout 2 & 3 but if you don't know I would just avoid spoilers and find out from the show.
