Ella Purnell said her goal was to destroy Lucy. I mean she's had a character get cannibalized, and Jinx, so I guess she's got a high bar for character development.

thank god the Robot was able to give Lucy a new finger (even though it was badly decomposed), plus the voice actor behind the robot sounded like Coddswoth from Fallout 4
@@henrymanley4116 The robots are far from rational. It see's her injured and will help as thats polite, but it still has an assigned job to do and it will carry out.
@@henrymanley4116 If I recall correctly the two junkies mentioned having reprogrammed him (as the original Mr. Handy programming likely wouldn't include organ harvesting), so chances are they weren't exactly thorough and his original programming of "help humans in need" was still in there, thus new finger and offering real cotton and whatnot. But then OrganHarvest.exe kicks in and overrides it, though he still seems to "think" that he's just being nice because there's not an actual mind in there. Just programming. There are smarter robots in the Fallout Universe, and actual AI's to boot. But a lot of the more basic robots were made and/or programmed for a certain purpose. (Or a multiple ones, but generally related.) You don't want to give your toaster the ability to contemplate the meaning of existence, you just want it to make toast.
