I'll tell you one thing, if you keep even one of the ideas that were thrown after today's episode until the end of the season, you will be incredibly surprised.
If you frame all that is happening in the show as a "video game", things like carrying a severed head around without being bothered make more sense. it is just an item in your inventory, and soooo many games like to put severed heads in your inventory. The "video game" lens works on everything that might seem off in the show. I believe the producers of this show tilted it this way purposely.
Very much so. Lucy's mentality at the moment will make her survival-hood on the surface very short. So she's going to learn some hard life lessons from him.
"She went from practically (literally, lol) being sheltered to just hanging out with a severed head." 😂 As for Maximus, even as someone who never played the games, I got the impression he was like a first time player that's trying out everything for the first time. Generally good, but he might make some questionable choices here and there, especially when tempted by opportunities to make a power play. That interpretation explains why it seems like he doesn't fully get how everything works yet (though some people have pointed out he's apparently a great shot and just doesn't get a lot of chances to show it, especially when dealing with the Ghoul).

The Inhaler used by the raider in Episode 1 is actually a drug called "Jet", which is an amphetamine like Meth. It's also extracted from the fumes of Brahmin (2 headed cow) dung. The Inhaler the Ghoul uses is a new addition by the show, and it seems to be used by ghouls to stop them turning feral (mindless zombies). Some think it's some new substance, while others like myself think its a substance called "F.E.V." by how it's used later on in the show.
@@clarkmichaels822 It's not even certain the later drug is FEV ( I do agree that I think the two drugs are different) - there's been a couple of examples of drugs turning people into ghouls throughout the Fallout games, and I don't think they were ever tied specifically to the FEV.
I believe the drug the ghouls use is a mixture of several different drugs such as Rad X, Radaway and probably extracts from the adrenal glands of either humans or ghouls.
@@stephenhumphreys9149 later game devs said radiation alone doesn't turn into ghouls. you have to have a small amount of fev in you. also Jet is different drugs.
Honestly this is one of my favorite episodes of the season because of the history it shows between Vault-Tec and Cooper. The popular Vault Boy cartoon we know now. I see as Vault-Tec hastily severing ties with Cooper after a fall-out (sorry), quickly coming up with a similar looking mascot to cover up the existing billboards(in the end credits not shown in reaction) and promotional material with Cooper already in them
Y'all need to pay attention to the end credits. It shows add things. You would have seen his face on the billboard of Vault-Tec but half was covered up by the new Vault boy. He was replaced.
You're the first reactors that I've watched who caught on to Cooper's wife at the end of the episode. Someone to keep an eye on. You could say Cooper has some hate toward Vault-tec. You don't waste valuable ammunition by blowing the face off a billboard.

the ENERGY
The suit didnt do anything by itself, maximus put his arm backwards in there and used it
yep he put in his arm and made the suit reach back and grab the guys head.
Cooper was/is the original Vault Boy (thumbs up)
They asked the original artist of Vault Boy if the thumbs up had that nuclear blast meaning and he said no, he just needed to draw a mascot and he made Vault Boy give a thumbs up. It's funny how they injected it into the lore though.
Kiss, dry heaving.... lmao. Seeing you getting grossed out is top tier content. 😂 Ep 4 is amazing. 6-8 also culminating in a near perfect finale, look forward to watching with y'all.
You guys should definitely react to playing the game together!!!
Remember you pay for experience
You should watch the ending credits too.
amazing how many reactors miss that each ending is different and the first episode has a preview.
Coopers wife is not his manager. Barb works for Vault-Tec.
Isn’t that a bit of a spoiler??! They show that in the next few episodes.
Walton Goggins as the original Vault Boy was a master stroke of lore. God bless the casting manager.
Lavender candy is horrific 🤮
The Inhaler used by the raider in Episode 1 is actually a drug called "Jet", which is an amphetamine like Meth. It's also extracted from the fumes of Brahmin (2 headed cow) dung.
The Inhaler the Ghoul uses is a new addition by the show, and it seems to be used by ghouls to stop them turning feral (mindless zombies). Some think it's some new substance, while others like myself think its a substance called "F.E.V." by how it's used later on in the show.
I think they're two different things. The FEV is in the show at the end, but it's not what the ghoul is using.
After seeing Maximus in this episode, are you still so sure he didn't hurt his friend Dane?
Cooper is right about the lavender candy, though. It is a godawful abomination to flavor a candy like that.
love you guys, you ought to post more often..
12:52 Video game logic.
@o.b.7217 No, I meant identifying the body by the pixelated picture of his head.
yall are too smart im always shookth
waiting for episode 4...
Smash
Episode 3: “She’s beautiful!”
Episode 8: “FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…!”
Rare a show this is, with not a single dud casting.
IM SO EARLY!
Young lady on the left needs to keep a bucket handy
You're the first reactors that I've watched who caught on to Cooper's wife at the end of the episode. Someone to keep an eye on. You could say Cooper has some hate toward Vault-tec. You don't waste valuable ammunition by blowing the face off a billboard.
Bambi🤣
you guys ever plan on watching dragon ball?? i asked since you guys watch one piece then why not watch the show it was inspired from
So... No head...?
