You grew up.. happens to us all.
Me too only play odd game now lol love my documentaries
😊
I hate how I've become addicted to this channel
I love this they made this movie for the mentally challenged first of all it was called Idlewild Airport not Kennedy and every name they haven't hear half of its wrong enjoy the cartoon morons
Me too
Me three
Me four
Me five
That scene from Goodfellas...where Ray Liotta was standing in the shower listening to the radio report about the heist!! lol Love it.
Ye so do i
Jimmmyyy!!!!!!
That was the original broadcast that went out over 1010 Wins the morning of the heist
RAY WAS ESTATIC!
"Roberts lounge is one of those places you wouldn't want to be caught dead in, though for the guys who hang out here being caught dead is an occupational hazard.." Lol
I'm this far into it and already hooked the narration the plot the actors is all just everything 😅
I got addicted to this damn channel 2😅😅 how crazy is that?
This was mentioned in the movie Goodfellas. The Mafia ripped off the Lufthansa cargo terminal at JFK Airport in 1978. Marty Krugman was killed, being he hounded Jimmy for his Lufthansa money. All the guys went out and bought cars such as Cadillacs and Lincolns. The cash disappeared by going to swanky restaurants, vacations, cars, clothing, houses, etc. The cash was untraceable.
Exactly. I remember Stack’s name in the movie.
@@maxinef6654 Stacks got whacked.
Marty wasn’t too smart! He knew what Jimmy was like but he had to try him all the same.
The only people to get rich off the money were the head ginnies of the luchesse crime family, most likely
It was like he had two families. The first time I was introduced to all of them at once, it was crazy. Paulie and his brothers had lots of sons and nephews. And almost all of them were named Peter or Paul. It was unbelievable. There must have been two dozen Peters and Pauls at the wedding. Plus, they were all married to girls named Marie.
Ye so do i
Did it on purpose to pull heist and into a crime family. It was attention to so fbi nor feds to trace them. For the crime family they in I bet
Lol
They were all good fellows
You are 100% correct 🤣🤣🤣
There's one detail missing, and that's Henry Hill telling Jimmy Burke about the tip. Jimmy Burke hated Krugman, he always thought he was suspicious and kept shortchanging him, he probably refused to listen to Krugman until Henry came down and told him about the plan. I understand it's pretty unrelated to the purpose of this episode but the crimes that put Burke away for the remainder of his life was the Boston College point shaving scandal which he did with Henry Hill, and his only official link to Lufthansa was the murder of Richard Eaton. Eaton was tortured, killed and hanged in a meat truck after he skimmed some money of the heist while it was being laundered. The money has never been found.
Stacks was always crazy. Instead of getting rid of the truck like he was supposed to, he got stoned,
went to his girlfriend's and by the time he woke up, the cops had found the truck. It was all over the television. They even said
they came up with prints off the wheel. It was just a matter of tine before they got to Stacks.
Direct quote lol
RiP Stacks ✊

R.I.P Henry Hill and Ray 🪦🕯🖤🤍
What an excellent documentary. Thanks, Wonder.
The most unbelievable thing here is that the boxes stayed perfectly stacked in the van when they got to the warehouse
These re-enactments are based on 45 years old crimes ........
40 years for TV and 45 by the time they land on YT !
Sudden wealth could have legal consequences.....
Definitely agreed...
He said lethal consequences
@@robertparker481 both are true though heh
Well kids, never involve the Mafia in a heist
I hear "Leyla" playing in my head as the bodies started dropping.
My late uncle used to watch this documentary alot and I was getting annoyed 😒 everytime he comes home, his favourite channels was the news and documentary...... 20 years later here iam addicted and enjoining more that watching 😅😅😅❤ action movie 🎬
I keep stopping
But keep watching this channel..
It worth it
Thank you for this videos.
50 grand each? Holy Molly then they wonder why everybody rats on each other. There is no reward for loyalty. Its actually an insult
I would've expected them to get more as well. Though keep in mind this happened in 1978, where 50k equals about 200k today. They could've lived happily for quite a while. I still wouldn't have done it for only 50k though.
@@bored8624 In 1970 the average car price was 3500. In 2022, the average car price is 35000. 10 times more. The increase in cost of living is not the same as official inflation.
I like how you worded that
Actually, it was more than 3X the average annual income in 1978. Not bad for a foot soldier
Based on the stupidity that got them caught, they weren't even worth 50k. Dummy had one job to do and couldn't even do that right.
Idk if u heard, but i dont shine shoes no more
Aye, I didn’t mean to offend you.
Now go get your fcking shine box!
Keep him here! Keep him here!
when your idea becomes there idea and your money becomes there money. nasty business.
so the main (insider) suspect bought a shiny new van?! Brilliant ...
😂🤣🤣
Yep, he put some real thought into that one.
And brought it to work
It almost seems fake lol
Addiction kills brain.
I miss Jim Kallstrom, former head of FBI New York office. No narrator matches him, rest in peace.
If you can't make a heist alone,,,don't do it!
For real
Im in love with cash heist
This sounds like a movie I watched sometime
Excellent documentary well done
Morris' wigs don't come off!
This is the heist in goodfellas
Realized that right when they started talking about the mob lol
I thought they only got like 3-4 million
That reinforces the old adage “crime does not pay” ....
Most crimes remain unsolved in the USA; any kind.🤣
At night I saw this Van in West Milwaukee at 3am or better.
And your fear gave me chance hearing Brian ' it's money still in the van.
Years later. Doing Brand!
It always surprised me this aspect wasn't shown a little more in depth in the film.
Probably because Henry wasn’t that involved in it
What did I tell you? WHAT DID I TELL YOU?! Do not buy anything.
Nice one
Cool story bro
how did i get from watching food channel to criminal documentaries lol😂
Thank you very much for sharing your great documents video.👍💐🌺🙏
Good fellas 👍👍👍
Robert's Lounge kind of looks like the Suite Night Club, right next to Morrie's Wigs on Queens Blvd
Jeez man, this is ballsy.

This was the good fellas
Shocking that I ve just watched Goodfellas a day ago and this popped into my suggestions....youtube is hearing me...
Thank you God for the help of this.
Wachu mean by that?
Can you trust the government to announce the real haul? They could’ve exaggerated the haul in order to cause distrust amongst the thieves
You're saying that because the video says the gangsters didn't know how much they took. However, the feds could've told the truth. Lying or overestimating would've made them look bad.
As Christopher Moltisanti would say, "Dey wanted to spread dysentery among da ranks!" lol
So this is the story that the movie Goodfellas was made from.
“None of the 8 million dollars has ever been recovered”…..Mission completed ✅
Wow that’s crazy 😳
Rip Ray Liotta 🕊
Who's that
@@gameryasir6579 the actor that played the main guy in the nineties movie Goodfellas
The robbers, those that take the highest risk, get the least amount of money. How incredibly stupid that whole life in the mafia seem to be.
This is cool that people acctually do stuff like this. Big balls
It doesn't always be worth it tho...
Did stuff like this*
These things have been impossoble to pull off for decades.
@@nekitamol1k242 some chicago kids hit a armor truck for a million on halloween one still on the run idk if that count tho 🤔
Truw but take into account that if they had failed, the people involved and their family would have disappeared
The more important question here at 19:59 is did Tommy and Frankie take the coffee to go?
Frankie Carbone wasn't a real character, he was inspired by Angelo Sepe and Paolo LiCastri.
@@nekitamol1k242 It's a joke dude!
Did the narrator or cops mention anything about why there was no security camera footage of the multiple men and vehicles used in the robbery
this robbery occurred in 1978, so security cameras were much less common back at that time. Also, this was not a bank or armored car facility. It was an air cargo warehouse facility that was used to transfer shipments/goods, and items were not held for long periods. it was currency that was being transported transferred from overseas that was spent my US military stationed in Germany, so it wasn't held for a long period. That is why having inside knowledge was needed of when the cash was coming in.
What a dumbass question. How old are you?
You should remember or know when cameras became widely available...roughly 12-15 years after this robbery
For as long as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster....Henry Hill
je découvre la chaîne, super intéressent j aime beaucoup.

Deathwish. Surprised they didn't kill him immediately after the heist. Schoolboy error

At least morrie’s wigs don’t fall off.

Henry knows who did it. So does Paulie.
Talk about Geeeeeed....
Sucks how they can pull off something like this and people fail to keep their mouths closed…
Thats what happens when that much money is robbed.

1. Split cash up as soon as possible.
2. Leave to country without extradition
3. Change your look, use alias.
4. Find a way to slowly wash your money don't start spending in first year on cars or houses.
The back streets of china and disappear,
I hear you. Once Burke discovered how much it was. He could of took 1.5 to 2 million. $1.5 million in 1979 is like over $5 million in today's money. Take my cut, tell them where the can pick up their's and secretly skip town.
@@melvynsngltn27 Better plan to last step: get some psycho to ambush them instead. A grand should be enough to hire violent crackhead.
Let’s gooo jimmmyyyyy
I’m watching goodfellas in this documentary 👌🏻
Maurys wife is still looking for him and is wondering where her cut is
Why would this guy Warner buy brand new van so soon after the heist. That was real stupid.
The only scene where money has not been recovered.
Never announced it was recovered. Probably the feds recovered it and lined their own pockets with it. Or Jimmy spread it wide among his goodfellas
Who was the Jewish dude on Goodfellas who kept nagging Jimmy for his share of the money, so they shot him and his wife in the car?
If someone kept nagging anybody like that, any of us would do the same thing!!
