This story is heartbreaking and yes, women do die during pregnancy/childbirth, but this family doesn't even know why she died and is waiting an autopsy. If pregnancy/childbirth is so "deadly" why do they say we have an overpopulated earth...no agenda, just logic.
@wildharmony33 Are you really suggesting that the rates of infant mortality is increased only and specifically based on whether a baby is born at the hospital or by C-section versus home births? @monicascott2354
@@Stokedhavok I wasn't suggesting anything. However, I did state that pregnancy and childbirth are deadly in unnatural environments. I can say this based off of research AND specifically because I work in the industry of maternal and infant care.
The baby saying "mama" when she heard grandma talking about there's nobody like mommy 😭 just took me completely out. Life truly isn't fair. Praying for the babies and G'ma's strength. What a terrible loss.
I used to work labor and delivery. I never saw a medical error cause a maternal death. The docs I worked w truly cared for their patients and took great care of them. Every post c-section mama gets their legs wrapped w a device that squeezes and releases for hours to keep lower extremity blood flowing to prevent clots. If they say anywhere in their legs hurt we'd get an ultrasound Stat to check for clots. If one of those breaks loose and gets to the brain or lungs to those teeny capillaries or God forbid its so large it clogs a major vessel then its fatal or life altering brain damage. Sometimes people post surgery also have a clotting problem as a reaction to the processes of birth and trauma of the surgery to the body and begin massively clotting etc. Sounds like she had a major stroke post c-section which usually means she developed a clot that broke loose, from somewhere in her legs. Amniotic fluid emboluses were always my worst fear in labor and delivery because there is nothing anyone could ever do to prevent it and when they occur death is instant and there's nothing more horrifying as a nurse in L&D then to have a healthy chatty patient suddenly say, "I feel like I can't breathe" then instantly die and nothing you can do can help them. Amniotic fluid enters the bloodstream through a freak occurrence, undetectable, unpredictable, it's horrific and traumatic for everyone, even the nurses and doctors cry and cry behind closed doors for days for the patient. Sometimes we could save the babies life w a Stat c-section to rescue baby from Moms lifeless body but when a mom dies and her vessels dilate it sucks the blood back away from baby and babies come out white as paper, almost bloodless on those cases and it's just awful and all you can do is move as fast as you can, try to save them both and go home and sob your heart out that you couldn't save her. Having a baby is the most dangerous thing a healthy woman can do. For those few hrs during and the 6 weeks after Moms are at elevated risk of death.
@latyshal.2286 and just so you know, most times all goes very well for Moms and babies. It is a rare occurrence when something goes so wrong that the experienced doctors and nurses can't fix it, most times we can cause it's bleeding too much which we can fix w meds, fluids, and blood products or we can fix many issues w baby just by giving mom more fluids and changing her position or a Stat c section to get baby out as soon as we see baby is struggling. So most times all is well. Ultimately , we can do things to keep mom and baby safe and healthy in most situations. Just always remember when having a baby, even if you aren't sure exactly what to expect, if something doesn't feel right tell your labor nurse. I had a severe allergic reaction to basic IV fluids while in labor w my 1st baby. As soon as I felt something weird I told my nurse and my nurse went into high alert and watchful mode. She put the signs together that I was having anaphylaxis. None of the staff had EVER seen someone be allergic to the basic IV solution like that and began arguing over what I had to be allergic too and I kept speaking up like "excuse me, no I'm not allergic to latex" etc and the nurse had read an article about a rare one in millions allergy to the basic IV fluids, told the doc, took it down despite the docs protests and she saved my life. So ALWAYS say something as soon as you feel like something is wrong be a strong self advocate and your nurse will go on high alert and watch you like a hawk to make sure you stay safe. Just gotta tell them and if 1 doesn't listen, tell another. There can be bad nurses but most are amazing so if you come across a bad one, say you don't want that one, and tell someone else.
That's very nice that you work with a group of people who actually take their job seriously but all doctors and nurses don't. African American women are not always taken serious during childbirth. My injury could have been prevented had the doctor took me serious immediately. Some care and most don't, it is what it is.
Wow...this is horrific. As a woman who had 4 C-sections in less than 4 whole years, I feel truly blessed that I came through with nothing more serious than a hernia with my last one...prayers to this family!!!
Wow, you had your kids back to back? Was that hard to do? We just had our first and my husband is ready for another! Our baby is 3mons old. I had a c-section too
I also have a huge hernia after C-section something they didnt tell me would happen that pertrudes in my stomach and is very large when I touch it's about size of those smaller bowler balls then it goes away and feels size of tennis ball. I never had this until having a child and I only had 1 birth/pregnancy. I was extremely sick after birth thought I was dying and went to hospital who told me I had ovarian cyst and the ultrasound were fine even to this day going to Dr they don't know only been to 1 doctor who saw how huge my stomach was and the hanging belly and refered me to a surgeon but they don't take my insurance.

This is why I'm now afraid to have another baby especially since I'm older but these men just don't understand that at all. This is what I kept telling my ex . I pray for her family especially the babies.
This broke my heart poor babies and bless the grandmother. I pray for every single one of them and bless the mothers soul may she rest in peace. 🙏🏾 I know my mom told me she had to have a c-section with me because the doctor said my breathing was low inside the belly so soon after having me they rush me out to tend to me. Honestly my mom and I think they just want it more money so they lied about me having low rate and plus due to it I was brought into this world a premature baby. The reason we think they lied because it is nowhere in any of my paperworks. I had to stay inside the hospital for two whole weeks. Also I had to have two surgeries when I was younger one dealing with my hearing and the other since I have sleep apnea they had to remove my tonsils as well too.
The risk a woman take bring children in to this world. Woman needs to be honored and respected.. Best wishes to her beautiful daughters and family. RIP sis your sacrifice was not in vain your girls are tour legacy.
I hope they get the autopsy and closure very soon. The mother said Alona was healthy and wondering if the medication she took for the c section caused her to have the headache then pass away.
Such a devastating thing has happened to this family. No parent should have to bury their child. The kids growing up without their mom and the husband raising young girls without his wife. I pray God grant them extra strength and endurance to raise those babies. It's going to take a village full of positivity and support. Family and real friends pull together and help. I pray for mental and financial stability.
Prayers to the family😢I’m so sorry for their loss and for those beautiful children. I pray the family get the answers they need to bring some kind of closure to what actually happen to her 🙏🏾
Never be alone when going into labor if you can help it. I had to have an emergency c section after receiving meds and had a bad experience with my first pregnancy and I believe they look at the young and minority as more vulnerable and weak and give us minimal care
You’re not alone & most operating rooms you have to be with medical staff only. Perhaps women should take a pause on having kids & make sure they are healthy.
I wanna come in and give this family 🙏 all love and prayers. To the mother of Alona to the father of the babies and the rest of her family and friends. 😢 I couldn't imagine going from giving birth to a new life to death. I wonder what exactly happened medically. I understand she had a bleeding on the brain but I wonder if it had anything to do with her C-section. I am so sorry sweet Alona and to the mom stay strong God is going to take care of all y'all! My heart is heavy .
Y’all this has bought tears to my eyes and has me crying. I had my daughter a year ago and as I walked inside I felt heaviness on my chest. I would get up to help the baby and felt dizzy and faint., day two home I felt like an elephant was in my chest and continued to sleep. As I contacted my doctor she said it was normal, but as a mother having multiple children I knew this wasn’t true and felt like my life was slipping away. I went back to the hospital unable to breathe with a blood pressure of 198/110 and excessive fluid on my lungs causing my stats to be in the 50s. One more day I don’t think I would have made it. This story could have been me in a different form. Giving birth is rough ladies. I had post preeclampsia. Although this wasn’t the young ladies situation, it still could have been so fatal. Im praying hard for this family ❤😢
I had preeclampsia when I was pregnant too . Had swelling in my legs . Then they put me on bed rest . After I had my baby, they kept me in the hospital because of my pressure
This is soo heartbreaking. Praying for the upmost strength and comfort in best possible way for her family and babies. Hoping the doctors and hospital fully cooperate with finding out exactly what caused this sudden death.
My daddy told me when I was giving birth to my first child and first grandbaby in the family, you are going to go through Life and Death giving birth and I see 😢😢 what he means. Praying for you Grandmother and your grandbabies
Dear family, my heart aches for you. I cannot imagine your pain of your loved one. God be with this family. My childhood best friend died three days after giving birth to her third child and I cry every day. It hurts so much because we don't know the what if's or why's. I do know that her youngest is now 21 and a beautiful young lady! God be with you all. 😢🙏💜
To Alona' s mother , I see and feel your pain . Your daughter is a very beautiful woman and I feel she is a beautiful angel of our heavenly father , God ! The husband and the sweet babies , I am so sorry for your lost , however , God is still blessing you ! You still have your mother - in - law to help you raise the two lovely healthy baby girls ! I know in my heart God got all of you and help for those babies will come from every where ! I love all of you and , I ask God to keep you all safe also very strong , Amen !!

I’m so so sorry 💔💔 there is no peace to be found in such an unexpected situation. Praise god they have their daddy and may he keep his head on straight for those baby girls. ❤️
Majority of people consider pregnancy to be a natural and easy part of life. That is far from the truth. In giving life, women face deadly risk. My beautiful aunt died during labor. She too was young and healthy. As a community, we need to have more conversations about the risk involved in entering motherhood. Sending prayers to this family.
This is so sad and scary im preg with my 6th baby and the older we get the harder it is on our body. This is one of my biggest fears right now cuz this preg wasn't planned and I wasn't planning another baby at this moment cuz I just had a baby and my daughter just turned 19months. Sad things is my hubby don't understand this fear. Maybe men don't understand it cuz they don't have to go through it
This is so tragic. What was meant to be a joyous time in her life, turns out to be the most devastating. RIP mom, watch over your babies and husband until they can join you 🥺🙏😞♥️
Similar thing happened to my sis in law.. left 6 kids .. baby is 3 now.. Rest In Peace mommy.. I know grandma gonna do her best with her and her sibling ❤
A famous rapper sister was given an epidural and she and her full term daughter died.Instead of numbing her from the waist down it went from the waist up.This is unacceptable 😢
I'm praying for this family to find peace and comfort. This is incredibly heartbreaking and scary. A young mom with her whole life ahead of her It seems like the dad and her mom are truly supportive. I'm praying for all of them and lighting candles to the Blessed Mother. God bless all of you ❤️
C-section is major surgery and as a childbirth educator I feel that is played down to make mothers less nervous. Hospitals need to revamp patience with mothers who have long labors and avoid caesarean if at all possible. C-section is major surgery with major surgery risks. Yes it is sometimes for some high risk mothers a necessary procedure, but mothers should be made as comfortable as possible in the hospitals to pursue vaginal birth to avoid the risks of surgery. This is heartbreaking praying for this family.
My sincere condolences to her Mother and her family. I know she has been asking for her Mommy! Lord Jesus, comfort the family! Take care of those girls, Jesus! Thank You
Praying for this family a c-section is no joke had to have an emergency one with my 3rd kid was so scared out of my mind just from watching my sister with all four of her kids. And yes it's extremely difficult and scary for everyone during child birth no matter your health sometimes things happen were unaware of.
Deepest condolences to her family. Sometimes there are weaknesses in the blood vessels in the brain. Sometimes those weaknesses spontaneously pop. It is known as a spontaneous brain bleed. Did she have hypertension with the pregnancy? Unfortunately, things can happen during pregnancy and afterwards. Again, very sorry that this has happened. Prayers sent to the little girls.
This is rare. I've had two c-sections and I was a little sore for a week or two. My second one was a little worse because I had my tubes tied. But it's rare when someone dies from having a baby. Most the time mothers are just fine. So don't let it stop you from having Children. Have faith and leave to God. He'll be there taking care of you every step of the way. Children are the best amazing gift God can give
Yea I am on the fence about having kids too, but on the slim chance I do, I am definitely using a surrogate. The idea of carrying a baby has never appealed to me, never mind even the risky delivery part.
My sister passed away at age 35, after having her second child removed from her body (she was found unconscious). We have no proof that it was anything other than natural causes. She had had excellent medical care throughout her pregnancy, and was taking excellent care of herself. Everything seemed fine until this unforeseen occurrence at 7.5 months. This is much more common than people think. That's why I cringe knowing that so many women subject themselves to the risks associated with pregnancy for men who don't want them, don't respect or cherish them, and certainly don't love them. There are so many reasons why the God of Heaven instituted marriage as a prerequisite for sexual relationships. This kind of thing is one of the many!!! Yes, my sister's husband raised their children. It seems that this father is likely to do the same. However, when you deal with males (not men) who are just playing with you, what security is there for your children if something happens to you at any point during their lifetime? My condolences to the mother of the deceased, her husband, these babies, and all of her loved ones. THE GOD OF HEAVEN IS ABLE. BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL!!!!!!
So sorry this has happened! How sad and tragic! Praying the Peace of God and His Loving kindness carry you through this unimaginable loss! Psalms 57:1 🙏 ♥

Oh my word...this poor family. I pray they find strength to get through this.
Bring a life from heaven, take one back to heaven
I hope they get the autopsy and closure very soon. The mother said Alona was healthy and wondering if the medication she took for the c section caused her to have the headache then pass away.
@@NotfromDetroit Isn't that supposed to say C section? 🤔
0:55 Her captioning her picture as, "i'm i heaven" is so eerie. Almost like foreshadowing. This is so sad.
I pray the family get the answers they need to bring some kind of closure to what actually happen to her 🙏🏾
I have a relative who has survived 4 c-sections. I sweated bullets everytime.
I survived 4 c sections... but after my last I got my tubes tied.
@@goddessza3529same story of my life 4, than tied too
Thank you Jesus, yall are blessed 🙌
Never be alone when going into labor if you can help it. I had to have an emergency c section after receiving meds and had a bad experience with my first pregnancy and I believe they look at the young and minority as more vulnerable and weak and give us minimal care
Its why I stopped birthing 23 years ago. Anything could go wrong.
Brain hemorrhages can happen to anyone at anytime. God works in mysterious ways.

This exactly why summer Walker wanted eryaku badu as her doula 🥺
You’re not alone & most operating rooms you have to be with medical staff only. Perhaps women should take a pause on having kids & make sure they are healthy.
Oh my God. Condolences to this family. I pray they get answers they need. Blessings to this family and those beautiful babies.
It was a blood clot!

So Sorry for your Loss. This is happening so often to mother after giving birth. RIP.
Actually it’s not that common but it does happen
Especially being pregnant during or after Covid-19 for pregnant black women!😢😢
Sending 🙏🙏 my prayers to this family. An beautiful little babies.
This is soo heartbreaking. Praying for the upmost strength and comfort in best possible way for her family and babies. Hoping the doctors and hospital fully cooperate with finding out exactly what caused this sudden death.
🙏🏽 Her mom is right. She was beautiful and so was the rest of her family. I hope they recieve the much needed help they are going to need.
My daddy told me when I was giving birth to my first child and first grandbaby in the family, you are going to go through Life and Death giving birth and I see 😢😢 what he means. Praying for you Grandmother and your grandbabies
You here the pain in her voice but like a momma staying strong omg my deepest sympathy 🙏🏻🙏🏻

May she rest peacefully and my condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim especially her husband and her children!!!
Pregnancy is very serious. Just because so many people on the earth doesn’t take away from that. It shows how much mothers should be appreciated for that one selfless act.. God bless this family it’s so heartbreaking. I pray for the father and these girls. Give him the strength Lord
Don't give up sir. You are a capable and loving man and fit to be present for your long journey with your children. She isn't gone she is with you always.
Heartfelt condolences to the young ladies family. Rest in peace.❤

I’m so so sorry 💔💔 there is no peace to be found in such an unexpected situation. Praise god they have their daddy and may he keep his head on straight for those baby girls. ❤️
Prayers for the family🙏🙏🙏
Majority of people consider pregnancy to be a natural and easy part of life. That is far from the truth. In giving life, women face deadly risk. My beautiful aunt died during labor. She too was young and healthy. As a community, we need to have more conversations about the risk involved in entering motherhood. Sending prayers to this family.
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND FAMILY MEMBER
I am so so so very sorry for your loss my condolences and prayers to you and your family
Maybe men don't understand it cuz they don't have to go through it
May she rest in peace 💖🙏🕊
This is so tragic. What was meant to be a joyous time in her life, turns out to be the most devastating. RIP mom, watch over your babies and husband until they can join you 🥺🙏😞♥️
Prayers and condolences to the family!! ❤
Wow how heart breaking for the whole family and her babies 😢
She probably had preeclampsia which was not diagnosed. So sorry for your loss 😢
I'm am so very sorry my heart and prayers go out to this family😢
My aunt isn’t allowed to have children due to an enlarged heart. Heart disease strikes suddenly.
Similar thing happened to my sis in law.. left 6 kids .. baby is 3 now.. Rest In Peace mommy.. I know grandma gonna do her best with her and her sibling ❤
This was my biggest fear when I was pregnant and the reason i will never have more kids. So sad my condolences to the family. Rest well love ❤️
I'm sorry for yur loss my heart goes out to you and your family
@BadBlood&TheCommonGround no a trained certified childbirth educator, why?
💯👏🏾💯👏🏾 totally agree
Old people say women are closest to death during childbirth. Prayers for strength and comfort to this family.
Hope everyone helps
So very sorry about the family's loss. Such a beautiful family and having mommy taken out of this world😢
TWENTY-FIVE?! What in the hayell? That poor, poor family. 💔
I’m so sorry sending prayers up for the family.🙏🏽
Deepest condolences to her family. Sometimes there are weaknesses in the blood vessels in the brain. Sometimes those weaknesses spontaneously pop. It is known as a spontaneous brain bleed. Did she have hypertension with the pregnancy? Unfortunately, things can happen during pregnancy and afterwards. Again, very sorry that this has happened. Prayers sent to the little girls.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 prayers for this family. So sorry for your loss
This why I’m scared to have a baby . This is exactly what keeps me from having children ❤I’m so sorry 💔💔this not ok it’s Just scary
find a midwife if you do. obgyn are not trained in natural birth.
@@staceylovebeauty724The mortality rate in black women is statistically higher than other women in this country.
Yea I am on the fence about having kids too, but on the slim chance I do, I am definitely using a surrogate. The idea of carrying a baby has never appealed to me, never mind even the risky delivery part.
@@staceylovebeauty724not rare at all many women die at childbirth her issues were probably none related.
May she rest in peace. So sorry to hear this. My heart breaks for her babies and family.
Very true
This is why the orphanages are filled.
So well said, God bless you for this advice
I’m so sorry for the loss of your daughter, mother partner and sibling 🙏 my deepest condolences and prayers for your family.
So sorry this has happened! How sad and tragic! Praying the Peace of God and His Loving kindness carry you through this unimaginable loss! Psalms 57:1 🙏 ♥
