Get the serrated, you will love it. It's a terrifying blade, light to wield, cuts deep and chops like you won't believe. This is my no. 1 go to blade if I had to fight for my life against multiple armed attackers, out of my whole collection this is the baddest of the bad boys.

AUS8 is okay as these will never be used for day to day minutia. Both are really for martial purposes, the plain edge Marauder would be a better camping knife.
i have lots of cold steel serrated knives - maybe 8 of their super folders in serrated - and i will get this one also but lets face its a WROL slash and burn pirate knife - is the best way to put it - its a scary blade - just the light reflecting off those teeth is awesome

I’m not trying to be rude, but in this case, I think it’s important to point out a pronunciation mistake. The name of the knife is marauder, pronounced: “Ma raw der” It’s being pronounced as “Mar der er” in this video.
I love this knife, but I hate satin and stone washed finishes. On the other hand, it's easy to sharpen. You just need a cone shaped pen sharpener, and they're cheap. There's also a dedicated Cold Steel serrated blade sharpener you can get for about ten bucks.
LOVE this knife! Got both the plain edge and THAT serrated bad boy right there! The serrated one I keep by my bed. If I run out of bullets, I want something in my hand that can SAW THRU BONE!!! That knife, will "cut"!!!
Actually Aus8a and 10a are a very strong steal just doesn't have good edge retention they did right by serrations on this it will help with that issue a little cant beat the rip and grip serrations cold steel is proud of but I watch this dude joex and he destroys every thing you can think of but aus8a and 10a gives him a run for his money he does alot of cold steel knives makes the company destruction videos look like child play JOE SHOOTS THE KNIVES!!!!!!

bro, you have to put scale on solid surface to get accurate reading. Not a squishy matt.
Don't get it from Amazon, they show a polished blade but then sent the crappy stone washed version.
stone wash version is better as it if flat grinds and therefore the tip is reasonably strong.
