Fun note, it wasnt the Hydrogen that was the major cause of the Hindenburg, it was the Aluminium Oxide Paint that was all over it...they painted it in rocket feul...
Na, that wasn't aluminium Oxide, but iron-oxide + Aluminium - that is used as rocketfuel, but more commonly known as Thermite :P But that just goes to show that sometimes the most dangerous materials have some other use. A Blimp made from burnign gas and paintet in rocketfuel, or Pingpong-balls - they are made from a material also known as guncotton.

If you want to know more about this. It happened in the Netherlands. What happened is that the sensor in the car indeed saw something happening 2 cars infront of the Tesla. There's an emergency beep letting the driver know that the vehicle will halt itself. After that there's just some Dutch chatter by the driver :)
The radar is there to prevent the tesla from following cars into a collision. While the car was not explicitly trying to "tell" you when an accident was going to occur. It was definitely following the logic: the car in front of me is going too fast, the car in front of that car is going too slow, i'm going to slow down to avoid hitting the car infront of me. That to me sounds like it predicted an accident and actively tried to avoid it.
Armadillito Yes and no, it can be avoided, or at least reduced much better than they currently do. One of the things that would be useful, is implementing a "safe-time" where they execute a closed test on audio/video/animations, sync, stream, etc before the time the shows is actually supposed to start.
Bright colors are more photogenic, IMO, better production value. The black laptop that Luke usually uses blends into the shadows too much, especially when he's wearing a black shirt. Doesn't have to be pink, but I think youtube presenters should get something other than black to improve on-screen visibility. Especially with these guys' relationship with D-Brand.
I am surprised as well than team of tech geek cannot properly setup their streaming equipment... May be they should ask some kid on twitch to help them with it LOL
Doesn't explain why they refuse to play an mp4 while screensharing for the past 3 months. and he has JUST identified the problem, talk about professionalism when you can't dedicate atleast an hour into fixing a problem seen by hundreds of thousand of people. and also talk about a person completely shitting on OBS when he hasn't even made an mp4 of the avi intro they have....
To be fair, this segment gets roughly 200k views a week. They're other segments get many times more (combined) so it makes sense that those other aspects get the most attention. That being said live streaming isn't all that hard which brings me to the conclusion they're intentionally not fixing it as a running inside joke.
19:30 I'm actually using my Vive right now. I put on this show and minimized the video and put on Tilt brush. Listening to your show like a podcast while I paint. I love my vive.
and their lack of being on time. and the parts where they sit and complain about why they where late and things didnt work. skipping the sponsors are also a plus. lol
+FinalplayerRyu -- For you... _"OBS works just fine"_, for you. That does not mean that many many others with different setups, different needs and usages do not experience issues.
Deep Euphoria Yes, yes they do, but i have tested quite a few configurations just for the fun of it and if there was something not working i could fix it within a day or two... especially LTT seems to have some core problems, which i assume is due to an overcomplicated setup for something as simple as a Cam, Mic, two Screenshares and playing video. And many other streamers who complain about how bad OBS is when all they do is simply streaming a game with a webcam... whoop de do... "the horror". >.>
-- Not really, they probably just ran themselves in a corner with their thinking. They are getting outside help, so that's good, but quite honestly, probably any little bit tech savvy from the outside that wasn't corrupted in how they setup works would have come up with a working solution.
Depends on how HTC/Valve handle it. They could either pull an Apple and release a new one every year, or release a new whenever the correct time is (there are improvements in the industry).
I really don't understand how you struggle with xsplit so much... I'm just 1 guy in his garage and I've never had issues streaming with it using videos, overlays and many different scenes.
Arran Black I would like to agree, but as I said in my post, I share screens, use 2 or 3 webcams, use videos and overlays. I reckon they have overcomplicated it tbh, I don't see a need for a secondary streaming box for example. it's not like they are streaming cpu intensive content...
They struggle to get it set up though. It's the fact that windows is a complicated mess and screws its self up with skype stealing mics and misc. errors.
Arran Black I'm all to familiar with Skype playing tricks with hardware, I've run several live shows using skype with 5+ other people. still I wouldn't consider it to be difficult, and certainly not for a tech orientated company.
It seems the revolving cast for wan seems to have expanded the talent and given some face time to new yet old talent. I like it. shows faith in the brand.
IKR? A supposed, TECH channel, and cannot get the simplest of tech right. I know 15 year old children who stream off their allowance and part time fast food job who have more success streaming...
I know but still, XSplit has much more problem than OBS. I think Linus uses it because they can contact CS via a dedicated support individual due to their past sponsorship with XSplit. XSplit is horrible as their old code is messy like the old OBS does. The rewrite version of OBS - OBS MP is much simple, it's just the matter of taking time solving and designing what you want for your streaming content. Just because the WAN show was never an "actual" LTT program, the least they wanted to spend time on is the WAN show. That's why it's always delay and problematic.
KEN U NOT? I just dont see the point of dedicated support for streaming software that never works. CS and live broadcasts dont mix - terminate that stupid ass relationship and switch to OBS...or are you shilling for em?
You are the one who don't understand at all. Because XSplit's customer service will reply Linus's complaints and prioritize bugs that are reported by Linus, therefore Linus's experience on XSplit is different from ours. Linus would have switch to OBS:MP if XSplit did not contacted Linus for the sponsorship offer long time ago. There's no reason for me or anyone to shilling for OBS, OBS is an open-sourced software and you don't even have to pay for it. OBS is all about the community just like LTT. I just don't think Linus understand OBS at all, all he know is a very old version of it.
Okay i get it. amazon will fly drones to you and amd is making relevant things again. why dont you bring up the fact that oled isnt becoming a pc monitor standard. or anything about ultrabooks. or that corsair isnt making 1ms response time wireless keyboards like g900. or the 4000 dollar macbook sucks compared to the gtx1080 razer blade pro. jk just being cheeky but give it some thought
Zak Ferreira there is a UA-camr named cult of mush who does little budget builds for different price points. he doesn't actually build it but he shows you the parts and where to get them. solid content. it really helped me with building my first PC. cheers
linus did a video on holiday buyers guide just showing parts lists for good computers. but that's not what this channel is really about. its a tech channel dedicated to cool tech and its cornerstone is building pcs. if you arent interested in customizing and personalizing your computer this may not be the right place for you.

Linus, go for a behringer XR12. very small and compact digital mixer. Connect 2 mics, you can set a compressor, an EQ and even a multiband compressor and just send a LINE OUT to an audio interface.
Hahaha, don't be so strict with yourselves, enjoy your life. Thank you for all the videos, happy New Year tech tips :) Love you, you're great, keep it up :)
Drones go from big blimp to deliver, then for less power consumption and probably to comply with FCC regulation flies back to the ground location for charging and return via big blimp for a new delivery. The issue with this is that it then means you're wasting energy to ferry the drone up to the big blimp. BUT the advantage is that it means Amazon doesn't need a ground location in your area for faster delivery.
Hydrogen wasn't the problem with the Hindenburg, it was the gunpowder like coating they put on the zeppelin. When lighter than air gases catch fire they rapidly shoot up in the air and dissipate, the flaming shell and structure is what caused the injuries at the crash. This is why they expect less fire issues with hydrogen fuel cell vehicles than petroleum and biofuel based vehicles.
you can't police news stories free speech is free speech anything other than that a slippery slope. also you talk about politics without really know what you are talking about.
The entire elite of the world are having a grown up power temper tantrum because they forgot they aren't actually the ones in charge. The real fake news said Hillary would win, Germany's fake news probably reports on rapes
Joe Percy Pretty sure 95% of people who talk about politics don't know what they're talking about. Our new president in the US is a businessman for crying out loud.
TheEvilRock Gaming stuff like that has to be proven by a court of law and it's under very specific circumstances. this is the definition: the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation. so it has to be factually an incorrect thing you say about someone to be considered slander and even then it's no a criminal thing you can just sue someone for a lot of money.
But you still know Vive Two is coming. Even if they call it something different. Even if a different company makes it. Won't be long, the Vive will be obsolete. Just like everything else.
There's lots of things I'd love to for sure accomplish in 2017 but I won't accept failure nor can I control everything. So it's better if I don't make a resolution & just try my best to get whatever done.
Fun note, it wasnt the Hydrogen that was the major cause of the Hindenburg, it was the Aluminium Oxide Paint that was all over it...they painted it in rocket feul...

I cant comprehend how a company full of tech geeks cant figure out streaming a show that always has the same format after so much time.
Obbliteration technical difficulties beat anyone, however experienced they are and however simple the problems are.
Armadillito Technical difficulties every week is kind of a telltale sign it's human error.

I think they intentionally leave the technical issues in place as a running inside joke.

Doesn't matter. As soon as you let someone determine what is fake and what isn't, they control what gets to be said.
Joe Percy Isn't there like, slander and stuff though?

so it has to be factually an incorrect thing you say about someone to be considered slander and even then it's no a criminal thing you can just sue someone for a lot of money.

Taren and Brandon should do a complete wan show by themselves one week.
There's lots of things I'd love to for sure accomplish in 2017 but I won't accept failure nor can I control everything. So it's better if I don't make a resolution & just try my best to get whatever done.
