  • Well this is it. The one and only track test on the 1990 CR125 rebuild. Was hoping to get to ride it more, but the bike was bought after i took it for a couple of laps. Runs great and the new owner is very happy. I will let you all know at a later date where the bike is now and what the new owner is doing with it.

    Damn, that thing was worth 6500-7500 all day long!! I see this was in 2019 and now that we are in 2023 it would be worth even more!! There is not a 125 that sounds better than an HPP CR on the pipe!! These hondas are freakin legendary!!!

    Your channel is great. I grew up with late 70s to mid 80s bikes. Love the look and feel of them. After '96 somewhere, I loose the passionate interest. I enjoy my 2010 Gasgas ec300 but it's more of a dirtbiking tool than a fetish like my old (stolen) husky 610te was. I would never be able to get things done at your rate and at your level. And probably would have major problems coming round to selling. Every bike or car I've owned and sold - I've regretted selling.

    I enjoyed your build and riding video! I do something similar reviewing old bikes on my channel. They are a blast. I just sold my restored 93 CR 125 to start a 87 CR 125 build. It was sort of like your situation, mine sold in three days after listing it but I was fortunate to race it for a couple years. Keep up the great work and videos!

    How did u get the exhaust to fit properly?

    • @TNTMOTO
      @TNTMOTO  4 роки тому

      Never did. The silencer tube slides over the expansion tube up to the flange which is about 1/2 inch from where it should be. Then the rubber connector over top. It works fine but not the perfect scenerio. I'm guessing honda kept the expansion chamber the same for years but changed the subframe silencer mount. The silencer I have is probably one again not the right one for this specific year.
