You guys are the BEST vacuum channel on UA-cam! I'm no longer in the market for a new vacuum. I ended up getting both the Shark Stratos Ultralight Corded Stick Vacuum AND the Stratos upright AZ3000. Love love LOVE them! But I have to watch all your videos for the great information and entertainment. 😊
Tysm for this review! Our house smells super clean after using this model. The hepa filter is amazing and your vid was super helpful in deciding to buy it🎉🎉🎉
i just got this one today after seeing this review. taking me awhile to get used to it and it's not very wide compared to my 2018 Hoover Total House Pet vacuum, I think the name of it is. Hoover quit making the filters before i could even replace them. it seems more better at grabby the bird feathers and bird seeds that get all over the carpet. i wish this video tested bird seeds and videos on thicker carpet. i can't tell if this one was tested on thicker carpet for the review. I almost went for a hoover again. but this one had a good price and you can get under the tables and bed better then my old one.
omg im' frustrated with this vacuum. the brush attachment is skinny and not wide and easy to use over a wide area of floor. the pet attachment is worse and the hose won't stretch out and the whole thing tries to tip over and hit me in the head. i have migraines and a shunt in my head i don't need any injuries especially with the shunt as that requires surgery to replace. the reviews didn't show it tipping over when you use the pet attachment. the hole thing has to be laying on the floor and slides around when i pull on the hose. i had many vacuums before my hoover that would tip over all the time. and hit my head many times. it hurt. I should have went with another hoover but the reviews on amazon are bad for those too. hard to decide without trying it for ones self. I guess I will have to go through the trouble ot clean it and box it up to return. hope amazon refunds fast for this. so i can get a different one before black friday is over.
Kenmore makes good products. We haven’t tested it, but based on our experience with other Kenmore products, it’s likely to be pretty good. We’re going to do an upright comparison, but probably not until later in the year.
@@vacuumnerdsDo you guys know if the brush roll attachment fits the other DU models ? …The orange DU-4080 doesn’t come with that attachment but a few of the other DU models do. The reason for a 4080 today is Amazon has the 4080 on sale for $129 right now …and I hope I can get that extra pet hair roller attachment from EBay to fit the 4080. It’s an acceptable difference for the price today.
Ok, but heres the thing. I am never in a situation where I am vacuuming just 40 grams of stuff or just a small 2 sq ft patch of floor, lol. I hate small capacity low suction sticks, and short use time/always needing charging cordless. Corded uprights can go all day and tend to have larger dustbin capacity, meaning you don't have to stop and empty it every five seconds. Honestly, bagged will have the best suction and be easiest on the motor, but those are harder to find and tend to be a bit more spendy.
@@vacuumnerds what happened was on Amazon its listed as the DU5080 ..BUT I chose a different colorway and different price and I didn't see it was the DU2012 or something in that realm..so I returned that and now ordered the correct one ...Thank you gentlemen!

What a great review thank you, you have made my decision easier I would’ve never found this vacuum without you guys … getting it
The DU4080 is solid too.

Glad we could help!
Thanks nerds! 😁
You guys really know what sucks!

I was hoping nerds reviewed the Featherlite 4080 by Kenmore before I buy one.

Aww you didn't do a hair wrap test 😭. Does it have anti hair wrap brush roll?
No anti tangle on this one. It's a very solid budget vacuum, and it has a sealed canister + HEPA filtration.

Not all DU5080 has removal canister..i judt purchased one and its not the removable one..so confusing
Maybe it was not listed right?

DU5092 VS DU4080...THEY SEEM THE SAME
DU5092 gives you a rotating pet hair brush
That thing looks like it really sucks ..... Perfect!
What about maintenance and repairability? Shark for example doesn't support either - just toss your vac and buy a new one. >:-(
Get a different brand then
