I did all my electric bike videos at Rio. The owner Danny was my good friend. He let me test my bikes after hours. Still my favorite track, EVER.

I heard rumors the track was being taken over by the State of Texas- but was told this past weekend that is not the case. Hopefully it stays open for many more years to come!

Hey bud, don’t worry about ur speed: I know you mention it every video but you’re doing what you need to do out there to show the track! Key board warriors are lame

Thanks, I definitely mention it for the new viewers who might want to see someone throwing whips and railing berms 😂

quick question, tomorrow is my 1st time going to rio bravo or any motor-cross track will they let me ride with no boots and do they have concessions?

It's definitely best to wear riding boots there. They say you need them but I've seen people ride with work boots on. They don't have any concessions of any kind. There's a gas station about 2 miles away if you forget snacks.

      Dang, I did miss that!
Yes, they allow camping and even have RV electric hook ups- not full hook ups.

Rio Bravo is where all famous motocross riders ride in the 70’s. They had huge nationals there. I wish it could happen again. It takes someone rich to own it. Practicing needs to be about $10. They have to encourage people to get out there. Not sure why there is no racing going on there. So sad. I hope this can all change soon. I want to see Rio huge again with racing at least twice a month. I raced there in 88’-92’ roughly. The place is absolutely beautiful. I wish someone could put up a huge purse once a month to attract the pros

To be fair, no motocross facility will ever only charge $10 and still be able to operate.

@@alexdombi-weridetwo I agree and I know this. This is more about the frustration of the world today and how it’s set up. The way it was years ago was people practiced on land close by the house and then went to the track on Saturday to practice which was free and then raced on Sundays. It’s just all changed and nothing we can do about it but it’s killed the sport. People that want to practice can’t go to the track everyday. It’s just not possible and then if the track cost money to ride on the expense would be way too much. The bike shops make money on repairing and selling bikes but they have no interest in tracks but they should but even the bikes shops aren’t making any money anymore

😂🤣😂 bring your guitars! They have a full on stage with aound equipment under the pavilion. I didn't mention it in the video as it doesn't really get used anymore.
