FF13 is what hooked me to modern FF titles. I know not many people liked 13 but it was refreshing for me. The graphics were also phenomenal at the time.
By the time I started out on FF, XIII was the most recent title available as well (although I did start on FFX), so to me it was the best blend of modern graphics with an amazing storyline and gameplay. I've also loved XIII-2 and LR, and I'll never understand the hate the trilogy gets.

It’s like it brings me back to those days on ps1, ps2, and ps3. Living life and grinding out those games . Love this . Be safe out there yall .

Nobuo Uematsu and other Square Enix composers are simply genius, they are equals to Studio Ghibli's composers in the gaming space, and your rendition of their music is nostalgic, harrowing and beautiful in a way that is difficult to describe and convey through text. I know Final Fantasy VII Remake is only 2 years old, but as soon as ‘Ahead on our Way’ played with that image popped up. It made me feel so nostalgic and almost made me tear up… I can’t wait to continue the fellowship!

I first heard them my freshman year of high school and never really stopped. their music got me through some really hard times.. especially a set of piano arrangements my brother found for me that i really, really came to love but could never find the performer of. years later, this playlist comes on my youtube mix. i immediately love it- the promise is one of my favorite ff tracks. i see who's uploaded it and think- hey, surely this awesome musician has other great arrangements, right? who would have thought i would come to find those same paramore arrangements i loved so very deeply what was now over a decade ago.. i didnt know it but your work resonated with me for a long time in some of my darkest days. thank you, sam.

I loved the 13 trilogy so much and it's so dear to my heart. I had the Lightning bust statue on my windowsill for several years.
