Genuinely, thank you so much for making this. This game was a huge part of my life growing up, and my cousin and I loved playing it (he sadly died by suicide last year). I love listening to FFX mixes and thinking about those good times. The fact that people like you create this gorgeous music and let us enjoy it, expecting nothing in return, is so inspiring and touching. Sending you all the goodest vibes!
I'm so terribly sad to hear about your cousin; I understand those feelings a little from when I lost my best friend to something similar over a decade ago. There are things I relate to them and those times that I treasure extra-more because they're one of the few things left that let me picture when they were still here. It's like somehow, the feeling of some of those memories associated with the games we played help keep that small part of them here with us.

In answer to your question my favorite Aeon is Valefor, she pulled me out of the fire more than once in my first playthrough, and makes me feel like 'I can fly'

I'll link you the theme here! The start is the travel agency (it is literally a travel agency for the area to teach about the land and it's people and customs) and it has a little ff14 twist to it :D Edit: OH and of course I can't forget Anima. This is so good and relaxing.... thank you! I 'recently' started playing FFX again. As a 9-12 year old kid playing it I could never beat Seymour at Mt Gagazet lol. I've now captured nearly all Celestial Weapons (i'm never going to dodge those lightning bolts ahhaha) and nearly collected all Monsters in the Monster Arena. FFX was ahead of it's time.
Yesterday, I found this and added it to my watch later, I woke up today in a lot of pain, and decided to put this on... melting away... music is healing~... 💖

I used to do that so much when I was little! I remember some games we had on SNES had the option to listen to the background music in the options menu and I'd just sit there sometimes listening and enjoying while I worked on homework and such. I do have plans to do some more final fantasy comps but not sure what order to do them in quite yet! I'm always welcome to suggestions, though!

I can do some FF7 ones sometime in the future c: Hmm...Drawing in this type of style is mostly just blocking colors and shapes in and using a lot of texture brushes and blenders to kind of try to get a painty feel, focusing only a little bit on details, and then putting a grainy texture + some lighting enhancements over it. My usual style (not pictured here) is a whole other monster LOL takes me forever, which is why atm I'm doing these kinda concept art/silhouette style for smaller videos c:

Since then, FF has been a huge part of my life. I leaned to play To zanarkand on the piano and played it at my father's funerals last year, because he liked hearing me play it...

Will you be including Wind Crest - The Three Trials? It's my absolute favorite, even though it was originally for the International version only. The only one that comes close there is Eternity - Memories in Lightwaves. Like you said, X is like coming home. X-2 and XV also make me feel that way. X-2 came into my life when I was Yuna's age, though I played it few years after it first released, so that's why those two mean so much to me. XV makes me think of all the cross-country driving I've done, and I don't care what anyone says, its story was one of the most poignant ones for me. That was a really hard boss for me too; I lost so much when he was down to his last few hp D:< He CHEATS.
There are many FFX melodies out there, but this is a stunningly beautiful arrangement that really stands out from the rest. Amazing work!
