Pure electric in the Uk do a scooter at cheaper price point with no suspension but 10 inch pneumatic tyres and a 500 watt motor and an ip65 rating with a one year warranty that includes riding in light rain and through puddles but not heavy rain for prolonged periods. How they would tell the difference though is beyond me! Would assume amount of water damage or something but that’s the best I’ve heard of in regards to water ingress warranty. Not sure if u guys could get one shipped out there tho. Really like the spec and portability, range, if the cruiser but tales of high maintenance and checking bolts etc does put me off. Which is why it be great for you guys to get hold of the new Apollo city dual motor to compare against the cruiser 😀
I was going to buy one until I found out the real truth. These are lemons, bad parts, bad screws, bad service. The company even removes any negative reviews and blocks people and gives big incentives to reviewers to not say anything negative. Those are not the actions of a good company.
expect all the allen head bolts around the folding pin to be stripped out and missing after 1 week. The acorn nuts on the front shock to be missing at random
Sorry but this is definitely not my experience. I've had mine over a year, and have had none of those things happen. I guess I'm just more diligent about checking everything out before I ride to ensure it's fit to ride.
Edit:Long update is below, sorry for taking 5 months I legit forgot but to summarize...BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!! Okay guys...I bought one through the link. I have seen some comments/videos and heard some horror stories about this particular brand a distributor so I decided that I'm going to bite the bullet for you guys. I bought it and will ride it to work every day and update you guys in 3 months (maybe another one at 6 months) about how this scooter is and any problems that might arise from it. To prove I am not a fake comment (I have seen a few comments that are new accounts that only praise this scooter) I will now make a political statement so that no brand will want to associate with me: FUCK DONALD TRUMP!!! There, wish me luck guys :) oh by the way, if you're trying to buy with installments just a quick heads up: it didn't let me buy the gift card with the discount code unless I paid in full. That's fair I guess.
Thanks for the support. Did you do payments on the scooter? I will ask them if they can still honor the gift card because we were not told about the payment needing to be in full. Our blog in the description will help with maintenance items to keep the scooter going for a long time. These electric scooters are awesome, but all of them require maintenance to keep them going strong and prevent headaches. First, throw away the tool that the scooter came with. It is too soft and if not inserted correctly, it can strip bolts. 90% of electric scooters come with the same tool and they are complete garbage. A nice set of hardened steel allen wrenches will save you a lot of heartache and frustration. Checking tire PSI when you first get any electric scooter is a must. Different temperatures and elevation affect tire PSI, so I check when I first get the scooter and about every week. A properly inflated tire will help prevent flats and rim damage. I would also loctite all the bolts on Loctitek of the EMOVE Cruiser that connect the deck to the stem. These bolts are shorter so instead of having to tighten them all the time or possibly lose them, some red Loctite will make it maintenance-free. If you ever need to loosen the bolts, use a blow dryer or heat gun to melt the thread locker before removing them. The EMOVE Cruiser has a great feeling when all the bolts are tightened up. If you ever feel like you have play (excess movement) in the stem on the EMOVE Cruiser, the cause is most likely the three bolts that hold down the cover at the base of the adjustable stem. The bolts are right next to the clamp used to secure the desired height of the stem. Tightening these three bolts makes the stem rock solid and will prevent any type of movement. I have pictures in our blog that will help you identify the bolts that should have Loctite and tightened for the stem to be rock solid. Please keep us posted as you ride your new scooter!
@@Andrew-vt4jt Yes indeed I took the payment option. I am aware that all forms of transportation require regular care and maintenance (hell my austere bike and car do) and that scooters may or may not come with the best tools or bolts included. I've seen Dualtron owners change the screws on their scooters because the standard ones simply weren't cutting it so yeah I totally understand that I can only expect the best outcome of I'm willing to also put in the work to keep this or any scooter in good condition. It's no biggie about the gift card thing though. I do apologize if my comment seemed negative towards anyone but I will admit I've seen quite a few complaints here on UA-cam and Reddit not only on the products/distributor but also on the people who promote then so for the sake of being honest I did have to voice my thought on being uneasy about purchasing. It happens to all brands even the high end ones. Thanks in advance, I will check out the blog posts.
@@querube78 you're definitely entitled to your opinion and can speak freely. American society has become interesting lately not allowing people to speak their minds and have different opinions. We all come from different places and have a different upbringing, so our views are going to be different. I'm glad you understand the maintenance aspect. I find Kaabo bolts are the absolute worst type of metal and they are more expensive. I'm going to make sure that Voro Motors sends you a gift card because they never mentioned payments disqualifying you from the gift card. Thanks for brining it to our attention! I'm going to reach out and keep you posted.
Alright bois and girls! It's UPDATE TIME!!!!!! (Yes, I'm aware that I said I would do it in 3 months but I forgot I'm sorry I was having too much fun). After 5 months of riding this bad boy to and from work every day (I have over 400 miles on the odometer) I have finally been able to give it a break now that winter has come. First of all let me just say that this was this year's BEST purchase, I'm not exaggerating. I have a very efficient car 29 mpg city 35 highway yet after the Russia invasion this gas skyrocketed and I was spending $70 to fill my tank every 1-1.5 weeks. Once I got this baby I only filled my tank once every TWO MONTHS sometimes longer. I saved A LOT of money off my daily commute, quick trips to the corner grocery store, local restaurants, quick errands, etc. Sometimes I would just go riding at night because it was just so damn fun! In my state these scooters are street legal so I've never been stopped by a police man since I never go over the speed limit and respect the motor laws (please don't ruin it for us hooligans). I ran into some trouble early on as I dropped it a few times (my first scooter, I needed some time to learn to ride it properly and gain confidence on the streets) and broke the key entry and bent the key. I am happy to report that this was a relatively inexpensive fix ($20 part replacement). There was a tutorial by voromotors on how to fix it yourself but I don't feel confident opening up a $1,400 scooter myself so I was fortunate enough to find a local black owned business that was able to help me at a reasonable price (shout-out to Keon Turner and his brother @ Electric Scooter Chicago LLC on Belmont Ave. Chicago) The scooter got fixed and tuned up in a days' time and for a decent price. I also got recommendations on how to care for my ride and he even helped me when my car had electrical problems, real based dude. Other than that first hiccup this is a very affordable scooter to maintain and I am glad Voromotors has plenty of tutorials on how to fix minor problems such as the breaks and rotor misalignment. All in all this is an amazing product that I believe is the future of micro transportation. I am able to fit this into my car and fold/carry it into my bed room for supervised charging, something I am unable to do with my bicycle. This also has a level of swag that everybody seemed to not get enough of. I am now known at work as the "blue scooter boi" and am happy to report others have joined the scooter commute club (mostly unagis and cheaper brands but I've also seen them upgrade). I would go grocery shopping (I bought an oversized delivery backpack which I use to put on groceries or fetch the subways everybody wants at home), voting, or at a quick stop to my bank and people would come up to me and ask about the scooter. It was a good conversation starter that got people thinking about how we do transport. Everyone knows car emissions are bad and we should not be driving tons of steel to get to the corner store but seeing how much fun I was having riding around, not dealing with traffic on busy days( one of the most satisfying things to do is ride along the sidewalk right past 20-30 cars who can't move due to traffic and have them watch you zip past) , not having to deal with finding/paying for parking, being able to ride and not have to put the effort of riding a bicycle, accessorising the hell out of your ride as opposed to their boring cars (my scooter looks like a godammed christmas tree with all the cool lights I out in it to make myself as visible as possible, all with a 50ish pound scooter that I can carry with one had definitely had an effect on them. All in all, excellent product. I will eat my words about my skepticism and will personally vouch that this is a good scooter. The bad reviews seem to be more like exception to the rule but nonetheless I don't think they are fake. As for me I have nothing but good things to say about this scooter. I look forward to getting my sister one of these are a gift (she loves riding mine) but I am also sad to see that this was a limited edition color. Please please release more. I was hesitant to buy at first (c'mon it's like a grand and a half, not something to scoff at) but as soon as I saw that it was in my favorite color I did not hesitate to press "buy" especially with the added urgency of it being limited edition. When I show people the scooter on the website, usually the 1st or last thing that they ask is "does it come in _________ color? These are sentimental purchases and companies like apple seem to have great success in releasing a different colored iphone every year (despite no real improvement in quality or the fact that it will be covered up anyway with the phone protector) Ford also saw a boost in popularity when it's model T's went from a boring black to the iconic classic cars we think of today with retro colors. Anyway to TLDR, it is a really good scooter, would 100% buy another one or an upgraded version (I'm eyeing the King GT scooter but that will probably wait until next summer; once you get a taste of da' speed you want more ;). That concludes my review of the Emove Cruiser Electric Teal edition, sorry to have kept you all waiting. Peace.
For me best scooter on market except mechanical brakes 🤮 acceleration on pointing finger 🤮 and tire could be like 10 cm width but still 7,5 cm is better than in me ninebot max 6 cm 👍🏻 Anyway from this what is now on market this is on 1 place for me needs 👌🏻
I have the Ninebot Max and would choose the EMOVE Cruiser over it everyday of the week. However, I do like to start beginners on the Ninebot Max for simplicity.
@@Andrew-vt4jt yea ninebot is very simple construction and is lighter 👍🏻 so it have offcorse some advantages but yea emove is way better but it is completely diffrent class ., biger battery better waterresist rating , stronger engine wider tire ,have suspension wider deck ., you can setup hight of handlebars ninebot like for me is better in 2 departament = is smaller and lighter so portability for ninebot and have brakes which maybe are weaker well they are for sure weaker but type of those break so front drum rear electro so they are almost maintenance-free what i very like in this device 👍🏻
I personally don't like the emove cruiser, having ridden many other scooters it felt cheap and unrefined. The only plus is the range otherwise it's an over priced option imo
Another big plus is the deck size. I really strongly prefer the larger deck of the emove compared to its competitors. Most scooters in a given price range are so similar that it’s actually a significant difference. Also, it’s not overly refined, but the same is true of basically every
@@alwaysplaythegame the deck space was similar to other scooters in its class.... not sure which ones you are referring to but I've owned a Zero 10 which is a direct competitor and it had hall sensors, better locking handle bars, better brakes and similar or better power for the same price and I sold my Zero 10 because I thought it was still sub par compared to my other scooters lol the emove cruiser is trash in my opinion but that's just me...
I was comparing more to the Mantis 8 or Varla Pegasus than the bigger 10x or Wolf Warrior, etc. I feel like there is a decent difference between the 1200-1300 scooters and the 1800-2000 scooters and comparing them will result in obvious wins for the pricier group.
Sincerely wish you didnt hype this scooter up, its crap. The only thing decent in it is the battery. Ive used mine for 2 weeks only city riding and my rims are bent. What a load of crap. I understand you need to make money, but dont hype a bullshit product up. Im out nearly 2 grand now. Thanks.
Did you check your tire pressure every few days? Sounds like maybe the air pressure wasn't checked. I've put a lot of miles on the EMOVE Cruiser and never experienced a bent rim.

The link in the video didn't work for you? It pops up for me when I click on it in the description. You have to add the $50 gift card for coupon code: JimmyChang to work. And they should be able to ship it to you.
The IPX6 rating is simply a lie. In fact this scooter has average or below average water resistance, especially auxiliary electronics like lights. Do *not* attempt pressure washing it like in the clip.
I've sprayed mine down a ton and had no issues.
I LIVE IN PORTLAND OREGON ENOUGH SAID ABOUT THE IP RATING OF MY EMOVE CRUISER
I had one ,then gave it away . Nice but not fast enough. You're right about the range that was great.
Voro advertises that it goes 33mph......are you saying thats not true?
@@portlandgoose4727 For me it's not true ,
But I'm 265lbs .
@@rayreese7285 hmm...how did the build quality seem? I've seen a number of people say that it seems cheaper than what most reviews suggest
@@portlandgoose4727 Build quality for me , added to the equation . It made stress noise's after 1 day . But don't want to say it's a bad buy . Just be careful if you're heavy .
@@rayreese7285 thanks! I think I'm just gonna go with a Ninebot Max G30P, since I want durability and need my choice to be highly water resistant. A little more speed would be nice, but the vast majority of my riding will be on highly populated city streets anyways
Nice to see a classic brought back out of the closet there Jimmy. Still not 100% sold on those Xtech hybrid brakes though.. I'd rather see Zoom or Nutt Hydraulics at the price.. it's well within price.
I have this and can say I prefer these brakes to the hydro's on my Wolf. They are really good mechanical brakes
I have this scooter and these brakes. They are definitely not the best - and one of the weaker points of the scooter.
You can literally replace the brakes if you're handy enough to do so.
Any time a reviewer shows a key start they always show the keys both on the loop right out the box. Would you keep your car's spare key dangling from the ignition too?
Good point
Not good point. Nit pick.
@@ThumbdownMan Not nit picking. It's any channel they always have the spare key dangling from the key loop like they just took it out the package. I'm not hating on them, just observing. Jimmy and Andrew are the dopest.

Yeah it's amazing some cheaper uk Scooters have better water damage warranty
aliexpress x48 with a paintjob
Your not sponsor by them are you for making this video?
Wanted to get this scooter because there's so many good reviews but the more I look into it there's so many bad reviews
I was going to buy one until I found out the real truth. These are lemons, bad parts, bad screws, bad service. The company even removes any negative reviews and blocks people and gives big incentives to reviewers to not say anything negative. Those are not the actions of a good company.
이건 어디서 파나요
⚡👌🏼👏🏼⚡
100% design like my Fuze Max. UK model, but lesser range.
expect all the allen head bolts around the folding pin to be stripped out and missing after 1 week. The acorn nuts on the front shock to be missing at random
Sorry but this is definitely not my experience. I've had mine over a year, and have had none of those things happen. I guess I'm just more diligent about checking everything out before I ride to ensure it's fit to ride.
@@gmanhad I had mine 2 months and I sold it. Its not as good as a apollo scooter thats a fact
Peace.
Change to solid tyres and no more flats

@@alwaysplaythegame the apollo explore or Zero 10 when they still sold that is 1300 its not 1800 to 2k. Or even cheaper through aliexpress.
Where else can you get this range for this price?
Sincerely wish you didnt hype this scooter up, its crap. The only thing decent in it is the battery. Ive used mine for 2 weeks only city riding and my rims are bent. What a load of crap. I understand you need to make money, but dont hype a bullshit product up. Im out nearly 2 grand now. Thanks.
Did you check your tire pressure every few days? Sounds like maybe the air pressure wasn't checked. I've put a lot of miles on the EMOVE Cruiser and never experienced a bent rim.
The design IMO is bland but the performance is off the charts
New controllers every 50 miles lol
Isn't that normal if you both scuter to hawe 1are guarante and to hawe option to go in dealership and they take care of you . With my Vsett I hade moto brake and I ride MTB whole my life and I didn't want to plinker. I stopt att my Vsett dilership and they sad ok no problem . Also for ewry thing I know that I hate parts and mechanical service. And that is more important than scooter. I can't believe that people buying scuter and when something hepens they must order things from China. Its electricity I realy don't know what it is I can swap the brakes but it's easier to mee to giw scuter to them and they will solwd problem for mee no meter is it big or smole. That is first thing I looking for. That is one big thing to buy Vsett cos parts and warranty isn't emagionery its real .
i love the range and portability but it's one of the ugliest scooters design-wise.
