50 years is INSANE for a bird! It's crazy to think they can live up to 40+ in the wild and the oldest one ever recorded was 73 years old! That's an insane age for a bird! Wow!
I knew I recognized the name from my childhood! I remember the Wiggles adventure with Steve too from my childhood!
Anytime I hear or see Steve, I get teared eyed. That man was a damn legend and a hero. I had hoped to meet him one day and when news of his passing happened, it shattered me into pieces and still does to this day. Gosh, if only he were here now... how happy he would be.
