The addition of your Canada trips are great sidebar to your North woods adventures. Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventures. I think many of us older folks live vicariously through your adventures. Please keep doing what you do. It is much appreciated. 😊
The meeting of the work too much and enjoy too little club is now called to order. Today's guest Martin will be showing us how to live. Beautiful, thank you.
That is really beautiful scenery up there at the Atikaki Park i really enjoyed seeing the awesome countryside up there have a great weekend thank you.👋🇺🇲👋
I well remember the sound of those Beavers taking off .I spent a summer working for the provincial fisheries lab in Northern Sask. MY alarm for the summer was Beaver, Otters and a smattering of Cesnas taking off from in front of our buildings. This was 47 years ago but still remember it.
That is the biggest wilderness float plane I have ever seen and I’ve been on a few. We had 11 eagles on a gut pile on Goat Lake in Ontario. Beautiful sights. Thanks Martin
I’m glad to see the Canadian pickerel not walleye we’re still jumping in the boat for you guys. Next time instead of eating those flapjacks every morning try a true Canadian voyager breakfast and make up some bannock with those berries and some real Canadian maple syrup. Another great video
Nice to see ya back in Canada Martin looked like a wonderful time exploring and fishing always great views , Nice that the girls flited the fish & good you were there to help get the hook from the young ladies leg ouch! great work Doc Martin.! Great food good company and no doubt some laughs , thanks for bring us along . come on back this was fun.
that was a great video, Martin. I bet it was fun catching those pike. That jawbone you found, I couldn't imagine how big that pike would have been a monster.
Those get power prop planes are fast and can carry A BIG LOAD!!>....And those girls you had with you are quite nice people!!!....Thank you again my friend!!!...Peace and love!!
Wow what a view. So beautiful there. Fresh fish and even a birthday cake with friends in the wilderness. One can not beat that for sure. God bless all.
Check out that T-model Otter. Beautiful! Followed up by a nice old (probably early 60s era) DeHavilland Beaver. First class rides for your trip. Hope you brought your ear-plugs. 👍
Good question! When I was having the deed drawn up the lawyer implored me not to put more than one name on it. Sound advice as now two of the original partners have passed on their shares have just been handed off with nothing tied up in the courts.

Glad you like them! By the way this type of trip could be done by a lot of people that would not think so.
That looked like a great time. Good fishing 🎣 See you next weekend Dr Martin! 😉
Sounds good!

Anyone that has used one is flooded with memories when they hear that sound.

Well I got the job done with no cutting and learned some things.

It was refreshing to have groups changing out every few weeks.
What an awesome time and some really nice fish. Angel food cake in camp. Outstanding. Take care, Al
Double boiler did a good job on the Angel Food Cake

The turbo on the Otter is not nearly as loud as the original rotarys.
How fun!! 👍😎🇨🇦
It sure was!
Hi friend Martin. WOW! Girls on your channel!!! Nice !
I told them they were going to be my Click Bait.
@@TheNorthwoodsman1 LOL 😂
" ... are they ugly?"
No sir. Everything is beautiful in it's own way - that's the only way evolution works.
I still go with ugly
Thank you!!
Welcome!
Looked like a fantastic trip! But where were those World Famous Vonnie Cherry Pies?
Bud wants to know!
With no coolers some things just can't make the trip.
Looks like everyone had a grand time! You never comment where the bear turd photo was taken!
Not my pic but must have been on the long portage to the other lake.
Did not hear you singing, Martin. Afraid you were going to scare the fish away?!?! lol
That would have ruined the party!
Now that's a pike.
One attacked a paddle one day.
Oh buy the way, my friend pickerel Stan likes your videos too!😀
OOH not sure if I used that walleye word in this video.
Holy smokes!
That is what she was trying to say.
Who made that plane? Looks like something out of the 50s/60s.
👍 ✌
Isn’t Manitoba a barbless hook province?
The barb was crimped as required but still the little bump prevented it from sliding out
Hi Martin
So thinking of getting a drone ..wondering if you can give me any advice on this matter ??Thanks Martin
No, I have never messed with one myself.
@@TheNorthwoodsman1 thanks Martin..have a great day
Martin, does this cabin only belong to you?Is it in your name only as owner😮?
Does that matter.
@minierillinoiswatchdog7056 ..WHY does it bother you if I asked Martin?
Good question! When I was having the deed drawn up the lawyer implored me not to put more than one name on it. Sound advice as now two of the original partners have passed on their shares have just been handed off with nothing tied up in the courts.
Any Canada Jays about Martin for breakfast ? 😜
Actually yes, some pictures next week but none in my hand.
