My grandfather lives in that condo. My mother moved to Massachusetts before i was born and I would vacation there in the summer. She would tell me about the roller coaster that was where the condo is. She was there when the demolished it.
They only moved the original coaster. It was a replica they built to blow up. I just rode the original this past July 24th. You have to take a large boat out from the fishing pier to get to the coaster now. It sits in the middle of the Bay, and it is painted in camouflage so you can't see it from shore. It was put together by a team of builders from Dubai that specialize in making islands for amusement parks. It costs $120 for a 1 day pass. Tickets are sold at the Ocean View fishing pier. Everyone thought they were dredging a part in the Bay, but they were actually putting the amusement park back together, in the Bay.
