Hands down, the OpenRCT2 crew is one of the best game communities out there; it's a game that's 20+ years old, but is still fresh and teeming with new ideas/concepts, along with a dedicated creative team to make them possible.
The innovation the real amusement industry pushes with their coasters (Think RMC and Intamin’s latest coasters) also inherently pushed the OpenRCT2 community to replicate their ideas into virtual form.

I really love these because RCT definitely could use more variety in terms of flat rides. My only gripe is some of the sprites for the peeps looks a little bit weird. But it's a custom ride some I shouldn't be too picky.

Also to remember/note: The game's engine is SO old, that i bet most things of the things wouldn't even actually function correctly ,or work at all if Chris even tried to get these to actually work like how they would in real life, like the swings for instance. BUT WHATEVER, FUCK IT, these are the *BEST* things to come out of such an old ass game, and i always thought that modding a game like THIS would be impossible!

Double Swinging Inverted Ship (Vanilla or Wild, again, I can't remember) I grew up on Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, and its still my favourite, but I love Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 and the original RCT. Very good games.
It's amazing to see the RCT2 community still being alive and well. I remember getting mods and even creating a few simple ones of my own many years ago (I want to say around 2008), so it's great to still see people creating new content for this game! I feel like I did have a swing ride back in the day that actually did lift the chairs up on it, but who knows if the site I found it on even still exists, I unfortunately don't remember the old websites I used to visit.
I love RCT2. I played it since we got our first computer during the mid 1990. Then it was just RCT. But what i love even more is riding coasters. Just love it. And many flatrides as well. You say in the video that you probably will get sick on some rides. There is actual a simple way to handle this mutch better. For me it got so mutch better that i did not get sick at all. Train your balance. You dont need to go on a gym if you dont want to. Start to stand on one leg. When it gets to simple, start looking around and dont focus on one spot. When you want to do it harder, bend your leg and dont have it strait. If you want it even harder you can take like a balance plate. Start to stand on it with 2 feets first. But have something that you can hold on to if you need or grab if you lose the balance. Then you can start to stand on one leg on it when you feel ready. Then when it gets to easy, dont focus on one spot. Look around. On a blance plate you train alot of muscles in the legs, abdomen and around youre spine. Dont be worry if you have some training soreness the day after.
As a kid, my family would go to the county fair and my brother and I would ride these carnival rides from 10 in the morning till past midnight! Screw expensive theme parks, man.
"Rounded Up" was my absolute favorite carnival ride as a kid... I always looked forward to it. I got older and didn't attend any carnivals for years... finally went back as a young adult and got on Rounded Up, and oh yeah, I did not feel so good afterwards lol. I ran into a friend shortly after and they were like "dude you're pale as a ghost are you feeling okay?". Yeah, I've had all the fun I'm going to have with that ride.
Good list of rides! I can definitely say there’s a few other ones that are pretty classic in the custom world, including custom carnival wild mouse cars or the dragon designs for the junior coaster. Honestly, you’re making me want to remake the custom scenario I posted 7 years ago on Reddit that you can use only carnival/custom rides and have to get 1,500 guest that way onto what was essentially a farm.

I had no idea that ride type was commonly known as Kamikaze. The one I've been on is called Sky Master, has these cool blue lightning bolts painted on it, and had lights all over it that look cool at night. I love it.
Most all of these rides are far from new and were created back in the early 2000s by Dan Wolfe also known as The Amazing Earl. He also posted a guide about how to make custom rides and how painful it actually is. I see you listed his link in the description, but why neglect to actually mention his name. Lets please give the man some much needed credit and recognition.
To let your amount of subscribers increase, maybe it's an idea to organize a stream that takes one minute per subscriber you have at that time. So now with 3,2K subscribers, that should mean more than 50 hours 😁. It's allowed to call this idea crazy and insane.
How do you download rides from the second site, like the Tumbler, the airplanes, etc.? I can't find them anywhere and I would love to download them all

I once tried to make one by putting two swinging inverter ships together and making sure they went off at the same time but I could never get the guests to arrive and leave at the same times so they would always go out of sync aha
I am having trouble adding custom rides on my mac. I am running open RTC and I drop the DAT files into the Objdata folder and restart the game. They don't show up.
Unfortunately none of the rides has the same consistency of the original rides. They look out of place. Even the size of peeps differs. We need to give a call to Chris if we want more rides.
There's a version of tilted whirl that replaced the cars with dragons. Dizzy Dragons was the name. Most of the rides you feature were created by Methuselah- if my memory serves- who was a creator featured at rctmart back in the day. (My memory doesn't serve. The Amazing Earl was the creator as mentioned below) He and Fisherman created the rct world we wanted and Sawyer kept shooting down. Openrct in those times would have gotten a crease and desist letter. After 2's release, Sawyer introduced the error trapper that looked for the slightest hint you'd used a utility program and unless you had a saved game backup, you lost access to the entire saved game. Old schoolers may remember RCT2 object list. I was the third wheel admin there from inception until the site shut down. We hosted custom objects and such. Our greatest creator was Imhavingfun who was the second lead admin. My name there was Duke. It's great to see this great game get modernized and open sourced after basically everyone official abandoned it. It's also great to see NE is still around and thriving.
The one thing I disliked about two was you lost the terrain choices. With one, you could dig a hole and choose most of the ground textures. So if you lowered a spot for a tunnel, you could make the walls brick or wood. Cheap way to construct things with limited choices. Sawyer took that away in two and really slimmed down the visible terrain choices and i never liked the look of bare dirt. Lol
How have you never ridden a Super Loop you can find those at normal amusement parks I have ridden those Larson Super Loops with the cage a few years ago I was very uncomfortable

I don't understand why didn't put some more new flat rides in rct2 like the swinger which is a very common and basic ride. Yet there's a literal ring ride which I have never ever seen in a single park. That's the only grudge I have with rct2 besides the awful difficulty curve with regards to the scenarios

I discovered the rides were in the original rct2 and not openrct2.
They now have trans gender guests that complain about bathrooms and lower your park rating.
