    Had to pick one of these up myself. Such a great addition to the arsenal for those solo jams.

    This whole piece is great! The various elements are distinct but also really complementary. Love the jam in the middle portion.

    The background sounds remind me of the Time Shadows pedal. Bet it would be a great pair with this pedal.

      @@AnneSulikowski I can tell! It looks fun. May have to consider one too! I've been able to add a bunch of things to my micro studio here, recently, and put a few others away for a while. In the last few months I've brought in: Sonicware Liven 8bit warps, (+ Liven XFM on pre-order) elektron model:cycles, nanoloop fm device, Empress Effects ZOIA, as well as one of the current batch of Hologram's Microcosm. This seems like a lot of fun with my other stuff. 😁

    Amazing demo, loved the explanations and visuals! This thing definitely has limits but it also has so many remarkable, innovative features. Really interesting how it sums your instrument and it's percussion into one signal. I would love to see this drum machine/pedal concept toyed with more in the future. So many possibilities- for instance imagine if this thing had it's own insert effect loop or multiple outputs that can be routed to separate the percussion from the instr signal? I guess that would defeat the purpose of this one haha but I just mean this whole drum machine/pedal hybrid could go in sooooo many directions.

    The best AUDIO part of Snare Trap review so far! Could you explain how do you create the pads behind the beat?

      @@tomasnovotny4108 it was a note held down on my Roland jp8000 with some reverb (hall mode on the atmosphere reverb from dr. Scientist) thank you!

    This pedal is so frustrating. I love the way it sounds & operates, but with no MIDI, it's impossible to integrate into my guitar looping rig. My TR-6S & Ottobit were nervous for all of about 15 seconds.

    • @AnneSulikowski
      @AnneSulikowski  3 роки тому +1

      I was using it with loops without an issue, but I get the frustration if you are used to having everything sync automatically with midi. I personally don’t use midi so for me this is just perfect :)

    • @crazyquilt
      @crazyquilt 3 роки тому +1

      @@AnneSulikowski Well, between this and the Glou Glou Loupé, I might just have to give up on rigid MIDI. :D

    Unfortunately, the single output makes it way less useful for, say, recording.
