Think they should have made it possible to have a 4/4 beat by have 4 bass drums that also allow you to adjust their positions. That would have really elevated this pedal for its price tag and maybe even added another delay for those extra drums.
It's the pedal I want, but don't need, yet still want but am super reluctant to buy. The Reverb X and that Dwarfcraft phaser both did lovely things to the BD of the Snare Trap. So basically this puppy needs external effects processing to really bring it out. @$300 a pop I still can't decide if it's worth it. Really want to hear someone run this through Finegear's Dust Collector. Excellent review. Great personality on top of it all.
FWIW the Low Frequency Oscillator modulates the snare tone. While it certainly interacts with the filter, it is a different aspect of the sound design. I noticed that you kept referring to "setting it manually" as though the LFO was part of the filter. Obviously, the important thing is that you should use it in a way that feels fun and intuitive!
Big fan of Dwarfcraft. Ghost Fax is the wildest phaser there is to my knowledge. One of my favorites, but my favorite is the Pitch Grinder. I've been through several ARP type pedals and that one is my favorite.
Best demo of the Snare Trap I've seen. Thanks for taking the time to cover all the controls.
Thank you!

When put through the pedal it reminded me of the Compurhythm sounds on Gary Numan's Telekon album.
RE Dwarfcraft...I enjoyed the minivan and eau claire thunder, he was a cool guy I hope he's doing well
I think Ben and Louise are doing great!
Drawrfcraft no longer exists?..
They've been on extended haitus since last year. Still doing repairs-they have a big stockpile of parts-but no new builds.
