For the price, build and all the options this/variables this pedal offers, it is AMAZING!!! It's essentially an authentic boutique pedal for $299. UNBEATABLE... from LONDON. Incredible.
Your demos only get better and better with every release. You’ve really found your own style with this one. Loved the playing and the editing. Well done, my friend. Drone Ranger is a wild beast, man. You managed to tame it 🙌
@@juanbetancourt5880 No pedal has ever brought me the rapid fire rollercoaster ride of excitement and anger that Enzo did. I took all 4 of my Meris pedals and traded them for a boutique single ended 5 watt amp. I loved those Meris pedals but I hated them too. The only one that never disappointed me (i.e. had an uncontrollable mind of it's own, nonmusical digital artifacts and an inability to go "full wet" even in kill dry mode) was the Polymoon.
SOOOOO many pedals out there these days that I'm rarely impressed. But this things...awesome awesome awesome. Very creative design. Excellent job on demo too.
Just amazing...thank you for taking the time to produce this demo and for not making it two minutes long! 👍 I hope I can still get one of these creations from the mind of the mad scientist David Rainger! I saw the comment that the white noise burst is gone 🤔😕. Do you know why? And I think the only thing missing from the enclosure is one of those aircraft/racing style toggle switches with the red plastic cover! Lol Cheers!
Fantastic demo. Subbed! I also rabbit love the colourful knobs on your CT5. 😄 I really want one of these things, and the Bleep Fuzz, too. I need to get saving!
I think they could have brought the price down by leaving the cityscape video thing out .I'm visually impaired and it doesn't do a lot for me.If I had one of these pedals, and I'm thinking about getting one for Halloween gigs, I'd have my eyes closed while using it anyway. Cool pedal. I do a lot of Ambient intros to our songs and this would be a great addition to my Bag O' Tricks.
when I wanted to buy my first delay I thought I needed a stereo one too, because of my two-amp setup + bunch of other stereo pedals. however! then I got rubberneck, and it's pretty awesome to be used just in one channel. when one channel has the delay and the other don't have one - it produces stereo image as well. moreover, rubberneck has a kill dry feature and for stereo setup it's a killer. honestly, I don't even remember why I wanted stereo delay at first. ping pong maybe.. for this purpose I guess it would be great to have nemesis of source audio (≈cheap used and powerful). but I won't swap my rubberneck ever. stacking delays - okay, but not swapping. ps: just ordered drone rainger to try it with other channel (rubberneck on the right, drone rainger on the left), but I expect problems, because rainger fx delay don't have any way of syncing tempo. in case of problems will stack these delays on top of each other: rubberneck -> drone rainger. don't know if any of this information is useful for you or someone else.
Pretty limitted actually... You can't affect the drone with your input signal and can only run parellel to it with the delay... Way overpriced for what it is...
You saved me $200 lol thank you. On that note, would you happen to have found anything the does just that? Full functionality from a musician stand point?

Means so much man! Always trying to refine and sculpt the craft. Wild beasts sometimes are exactly what's needed. :D
By wild beast you guys mean learning curve is horrible like with Enzo? I hope not haha I have one drone coming

Hey thanks a lot. It is a wild pedal world.
Best goddamn guitar Stompbox I've ever seen, and I have seen them all.
I would legitimately listen to the demo drones if they were a full song or album
Hey thanks - a music release is definitely part of the plan.
What a badass pedal!!!
Definitely buying one for new sounds.
Insane review dude. Yours made me want it. Subscribed due to this

Descent into the Maelstrom (E. A.Poe), illustration by Harry Clarke, such good taste!
So pleased to see harry clarke's illustration here, acctually wanted to use Descent into the Maelstrom as a graphic for a sunn model T preamp pedal
Thank you for this. I have been waiting for mine to arrive since May, but seems like the wait is almost over. A most eagerly anticipated pedal.
Fantastic demo. Subbed! I also rabbit love the colourful knobs on your CT5. 😄

Thank you! Rainger FX are definitely doing very unique / cool things in the pedalverse.
Some serious Don't Stand So Close To Me beginning drone possibilities right there. Denny shoulda used it in his new Dune movie
Great demo. I have been waiting on a detailed vid. I'm sad they got rid of the white noise burst but I still want it!

Great demo, now I’m scared to look at the others as I have to buy this pedal
Amazingly addictive and beautiful. Will...save... for this epic masterpiece.
Love this review!
Awesome pedal and great demo
Exceptional demo!
Finally someone runs an E-bow through this pedal!
Awesome run through of a really interesting pedal!
ok thanks now I want to buy the drone rainger AND the count to five
John Carpenter and The Terminator soundtrack, eat your heart out.
Dude! I'm floating in the space and i don't feel scare
Not many good demos on this pedal, this one is top notch! Thanks for sharing. (Just ordered from Reverb based on your vid.)
I'd like to hear it within a larger feed back patch... some random touches here n there. .then into make noise strega. ..
Would really love to hear this with an e piano. Is that even possible?
Aparte del pedal..,hay alguien tocando una guitarra?
too bad there's no tap-in to sync the delay with other gear. especially for the price tag.
Sounds like the intro to Pink Floyd ‘Welcome to the machine’.
can you turn off guitar and delay and just use it as drone generator at the end of your pedal chain?
Not tried, certainly you don't need anything plugged in for the drone. Only got mine yesterday so it's still a bit fresh.
Yes
Haha love the intro
I want to buy this from Andertons so much but the only problem is I really need a stereo delay :(
when I wanted to buy my first delay I thought I needed a stereo one too, because of my two-amp setup + bunch of other stereo pedals. however! then I got rubberneck, and it's pretty awesome to be used just in one channel. when one channel has the delay and the other don't have one - it produces stereo image as well. moreover, rubberneck has a kill dry feature and for stereo setup it's a killer. honestly, I don't even remember why I wanted stereo delay at first. ping pong maybe.. for this purpose I guess it would be great to have nemesis of source audio (≈cheap used and powerful). but I won't swap my rubberneck ever. stacking delays - okay, but not swapping. ps: just ordered drone rainger to try it with other channel (rubberneck on the right, drone rainger on the left), but I expect problems, because rainger fx delay don't have any way of syncing tempo. in case of problems will stack these delays on top of each other: rubberneck -> drone rainger. don't know if any of this information is useful for you or someone else.
Suggest the stereo delay first... This is just a noise generator with a delay...
They should have named it "The Cheshire Cat".
its a Fripp in a box.
Love delay.im a old dog in the Cosmos
Same.
RIP my money
I hated drone sounds. Then i saw this demo
Pretty limitted actually... You can't affect the drone with your input signal and can only run parellel to it with the delay... Way overpriced for what it is...
You saved me $200 lol thank you. On that note, would you happen to have found anything the does just that? Full functionality from a musician stand point?
I haven't seen anything yet... I was hoping they would improve this pedal so your guitar can interract and control the drone...
Not a pedal for the OCD folks
as close to useless as makes no difference
