Get your spices at an Arabic or Indian grocery store. They are cheaper, better quality, and you get much more. I went to an Arabic grocery store about 10 years ago and bought some paprika. I still have it, and it still is potent and flavorful. As for pots and pans, you could get seconds from a quality brand such as Allclad. Or buy a few items at a time when things are on sale. Do not over spend on non-stick cookware. Eventually the coating will come off. Take very good care of your non-stick, do not put them in the dishwasher no matter what they say. Invest in a good cast iron skillet. If you take care of it, they can last a lifetime. A good cast iron skillet or pot does a ton of work for you. Also go to stores that sell the produce that regular grocery stores reject, they sell produce at a discount. In Arizona we have a store like that called Sprouts. If you bake store your flour in the fridge. Less likely to have bugs. Go to thrift stores and look for pyrex and Corning ware. Go to the Dollar store to get ceramic bowls and glassware. Usually people donate good working items to their church. My mom bought a beautiful set of Japanese dishes and bowls, service for 8 at a church rummage sale. Call up churches and ask them if they have rummage sales and Mark it in your calendar. Also don't just go to one grocery store. Hello Joshua. I decided to give your recipe a try. I was worried about the caramel because it wasn't clear to me how you expect it to solidify. For this reason I say: before attempting this recipe, one should be sure they can get caramel right. Regarding taste: roasted coconut has indeed a nice flavor. The taste of sugar covers everything else. In my opinion, this recipe is just not good, and needs further refinements. But I have learnt something, and I had a great time baking. In the future I'll try making some adjustments and baking the cookies again. BTW thanks to you I've discovered a box of baked beans in my freezer from a month ago.

You need to do thin mints! My favorite Girl Scout cookies!!!
As I am not American, I demand you do every type of cookie Girl Scouts offer so I can make them myself. Please and thank you!
UOOOOOHHH 😭😭 💢
Never been a fan of the Carmel Delites (Which is what the Samoas are called here), but do love their Thin Mint cookies!
I was a Girl Scout back a long time ago, and remember still going door-to-door to sell them.
I'm reminded of the Girl Scout troops that sold their cookies at Strip Malls that had a pot dispensary, and made a fortune.
That's called knowing your target audience.
I loved that story. That girl has a bright future.
That’s genius!
My favorite part of your videos is the love (and food) you give those who labor to make them great. LOVE YOU EDITOR

None gonna talk about how that thumbnail is sending a very special message about Josh 😈
My guy, that thumbnail... fire your editor, or give him a raise. Not sure which is better
Raised as a Girl Scout and I 100% stan this But Better! Now if only I could have the better ones door dashed to me too.. 🤔🤔

Ulises as a shady Girl Scout pushing cookies marked up 400+% is comedy gold. I love him!
Here for the thumbnail😭
As much as I love samoas, now that I'm older I've come to realize how lackluster prepackaged sweets are (looking at you, Hostess and Little Debbie) and I've been wanting to recreate my favorites so this was perfect timing! I cant wait to try these!
Looks like the Hillary Clinton doughnut meme 😂😳.
Comedy and cooking (baking). On the point as always!
What do you mean by that thumbnail???💀💀💀💀
It means when the girl scouts is grows and became mature they can be fuckable and breedable
@@HappaDog why do we gotta wait for them to grow?
The thumbnail
Sous vide melted chocolate?! MIND BLOWN!
Needed to see the thumbnail for myself 🫡
Was thinking about making my own peanut butter patties. And by making my own I mean slightly melting a Reese’s cup and squishing it on top of a store bought shortbread cookie
