As much as it is cute that the siblings are looking out for each other, its pretty genius that they're grabbing backpacks to help carry their toys.
True genius would be grabbing two backpacks, and wear both. You can carry twice as much stuff now.
@@meneldal Yep, if videogame taught me anything, it's more backpack, more room for inventory.
@@meneldal True, though there’d be uneven weight on either side and would be more difficult to run around with, unless you have one backpack in front of you and one backpack behind.
@@justyouraveragetrashbag5718 I was thinking front and back, but maybe you could do 3.
I'm pretty sure putting unpurchased items into anything that isn't a shopping card or basket could be considered attempted shop lifting.
To get children to like your food is a big achievement on its own.
It's not that hard. Just don't expect them to like adult food.
As long as you remember what it was like being a child, you are home free.
@@Arrynek01 or don't feed them never "kid's foods" so they aren't interested in the first place
@@Arrynek01 yeah... I was worried he'd add salt to his caramel or something.
@@Arrynek01 There's no such thing as 'kid's' food. What people usually mean when they say that is super processed foods in 'fun' looking shapes or sizes, which is how you end up raising children with terrible diets. Nothing wrong with chicken nuggets but make sure kids also get plenty of 'grown-up' food as well.
@@fixsationon7244 It's not that easy. Humans instinctively like certain things more. Usually associated with "kids" food.
For example you can see tons of cases of babies don't enjoying vegetables but you give them some cheesy things, or fried thing or sweet thing and they love it.
This is with a "non trained kid" it's just takes 1 time tasting that kind of food to know it "taste better".
Of course, you can try to never give them any of that. But at that point you are artificially imposing preferences not based on choice by taste, just habits. At some point in life when they grow up they will try that kind of food. And of course tho they may keepa healthier way of life than if they grew up eating tons of that they will know that kind of food taste good. Comfort food is powerful.
The way they were thinking of eachother for the toys was so sweet! Also, congrats on getting the pickiest species on this planet to like your food. 👏
Yeah but isnt it funny you get your kids to chose toys and they get apple watches lol
@@baba-yaga. fr when i was a kid i would have not picked any tech, just straight toys and actions figures
@@wajih228 Yeah well kids are different these days. When i am buying a present for a kid i would buy them a fortnite skin or smth. We used to flex at school and kindergarden with our new phisical toys and stuff.
Now kids flex with online things like game skins etc. Their life is online not on the playground anymore.
@@baba-yaga.unfortunately.
Uh you also have to add getting them to like A COPY of food they already probably like because you know, sugar msg and super consistent taste. I'm gonna try on my gremlins too. If they don't like it, there is always outside, at night...
Best part was the kids getting toys. Their expressions were priceless. The food looked good too. WTG mate.
my fav part was “i’m gonna get you something” 🥹🥹
Strongly seconds.
@@AcaciaBieberLove really mine was the "no" like, no get what you want because you're important to me 😜
bad parenting tho. they dont understand how much they should work for it
ah yes toys kids "apple watch" bro i would be lucky to get a $5 toy at their age :o
Kayden is so nice, he knew she'd have her own run but he wanted to get her something anyway 😭
And then she got something for him too! 😭😭
Grabbing a backpack first, he's smart kid.
Lovely kids🥰
@@lokalnyork I think that was a tip from crew so that they could get more things and video could get more views.
And they're both smart! Straight to the apple watch for probably the best size/high cost ratio in the store and backpack because the more they can carry the better!
Joshua is the only one mommy who is able to say "we have mcdonalds at home" and not get into a meme

“I’m gonna get this for you”
“I’m gonna get this for my brother”

RIGHT? These kids are the best
These two were so wholesome, glad you were able to capture both of them being considerate of their sibling and attempting to grab for them during their run
@@chadabercrombie6860I don' think so but the food will be better😅
Kaden still thinking of getting his sister a toy even though he knows she'll get a chance after 🥺🥺 Such a sweet older brother
I loved the "No, don't!" and then she did it too in her run
such lovely kids to have on the show. The boy is old enough to know he could have just tapped a lot of expensive things but he still went for some toys and even a gift for his friend/sister
These children are a treasure and would love to see them rate more of your dishes
:0
agreed
The fantastic logic if a kids mind: "If I can carry it, I can keep it. So I'll need a back pack" and then forget using the backpack. Priceless
The boy getting something for the girl during the toy run was so genuine and precious, and the girl going straight for the clothing section was equally as adorable.
!!! So true! Kayden: "I'm gonna get you something." 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰 thinking about his sister! ❤️ so sweet!
She grabbed him something too
Do y’all just ignore the girl doing the same thing all these comments only about the boy
@@Mewmewio See my comment....
@@Mewmewio I think it was just harder to hear her
Am I the only one whose fav part of this episode was the kids picking their toys and telling them he got them phones!? Josh is so sweet🥺🥺♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
okay but also when the kids both decide "wait i need something for my sibling" on their runs, knowing they each have equal time to get what they want. Its so sweet!
@@isolatedshadow6484 Everyone on the toy run was an awesome human being.
Kids, Josh, camera crew. Whatever.
SAME
Loved it.
Oh god why phones. Kids SHOULS NOT have access to phones and the internet. There are too many idiots that can easily manipulate them. I didn’t get a phone until i was 15 and it wasn’t even a phone phone. The whole offer was generous and very kind for sure but the kids need to be talking with people more or they will be glued to their phones and not learn how to conversant properly when they get older.
Leave it to the girl to know EXACTLY how to shop In 5 mins- that was amazing when she said “I need this in my size” love it!!
I know right? They gave her 5 minutes to get toys and she instaed got a dress, leggings, a back pack and a water bottle.
This girl will get far in life 😄.
these kids are prioritizing themselves/each other more than things they can grow out of (girl gets a sonic plush for bro, sis thanked bros offer for the watch) their minds are ahead of their time
@@arlynnecumberbatch1056 ah, the youth that bring our stressed souls to rest. 🙏
You sexist pig, Women aren’t the boy ones who can shop fast👎
@arsilent5038 The boy is also living like a kid. Can tell he is active, which is good for imagination, which is useful towards problem solving.
He still carried a bookbag for around 2-3 mins out of the 5, but it due time he'll at least won't fall behind his sister. 😅
The production level is incredible. Kudos to Josh and the team. Loved the kids too !
Wdym loved the kids 👮
@@5382sarthak I mean I love how smart, fun and generous they are, especially at the end when each one wants to pick up a gift for their sibling so don't try to ruin the good vibes here by implying god knows what, just for attention.
@@5382sarthak I have a solution for what you're implying. Kill all children. The end. :)
@@natinatyoutube Hi I'm Chris Hansen ! Why don't you take seat over there?
Well, we have the transcripts of your online comment section activites right there.

If not, you are welcome to go outside, where a friendly police squat is waiting for you with a happy meal.
lol
i bet you loved the kids dude
We appreciate Joshua for being thoroughly consistent on this channel. May he continue to receive blessings somehow.
Yep. Gamers like me love good food😊
Idk man. He seems pretty blessed now.
somehow? lol he's a professional with a tight operation. they know exactly what they're doing and they're damn good at it.
amen
I love how they both picked a toy for each other... You don't see many kids thinking about their sibling while shopping for themselves. Kudos to their parents for raising such selfless beings... Great job! 💗
Yes you do
Caddamn Josh that ending at Target was actually so generous and wholesome! You're that cool uncle that every kid wants, who makes excellent food and spoils the snot out of the kids LOL
Aw the big brother wanted to spend his time to get his sister something, & she did the same. I love siblings😩❤️ it’s 11 of us so I was able to experience the bond, but it’s cute to see. Josh is def a blessing, handsome, funny, & can cook🥵😭🫶🏾
Joshua will be the only dad who will be able to say “we have McDonald’s at home” and actually mean it 😂
Not when it takes like 6 hours to make hahaha
Bro, he is not going to say "we have McDonald's at home", he is going to say "we have McDonald's at home, but better"
Just the look on the kid's faces does it for me. The cooking we know will be amazing because it is Josh, but it is his consistent entertainment and just giving nature that puts a smile on my face. The cookbook rocks as well. You need a shirt though Josh, "Technique is Papa, Papa is Technique"
i like that he squished his own burger to get it to be more similar to mcdonalds. also, these kids are mad cool, i was definitely not as well adjusted when i was their age
Loved this video idea. Those kids seem really sweet and I'm sure they were super stoked to have something like this done for them. They definitely seemed really appreciative of it too so I'd say well-deserved. Question is... would Josh have taken them shopping if they didn't pick his food over McDonald's? 😂
That was absolutely adorable! I'm glad Josh is bringing back the Toys R Us shopping sprees.
Best way to eat a homemade meal is with the song “Dupe - International “ playing 🥶🥶
I loved how Layla also had to grab herself a dress and some leggings. *Chefs Kiss* loved this episode. Plus the food looked so delicious Mcdonalds could NEVER

Josh being Santa a whole month ahead of everyone else is what makes him a Certified Papa. Love that you got kids meals and toys, keep doing what you’re doing man!! 💯💯
He's not only a Papa, but an Uncle as well
I've been a fan for a while, watch nearly every video and own your cookbook and I just wanted to say you're awesome! And the kids are awesome :) You deserve all the success you've had and more! Can't wait to see!
This is the most wholesome episode ever! I love it!
Joshua’s Reaction on the “Homemade and Classical” apples was Priceless XD
did joshy just transform into santa? i will not lie this is the cutest and most beautiful episode in the whole existance. but probably just because i'm so touched how joshy is playing santa for those cute little kids ^_^

That was so awesome, the kids were both so sweet thinking of each other.
Loved this episode. So wholesome and fun. Grateful for what you do, mate. Brings a lot of joy into the world. Cheers
I like all of your episodes but this one was one of the sweetest. I love that they thought of each other while shopping as well ❤
Omg when Layla gets the sonic plushie for her brother!! 🥺😭 Kids are so wholesome ❤️ Loved this video
The fact that they both got something for each other was so sweet!
I recently started cooking more often and I've been binging your channel. You're an amazing chef and this solidified you as an amazing person. Great job 👏🏽
Love how Layla went straight for the clothes THEN toys then back to clothes. 😭🛍️
Wow what you did for those kids!! Great content, I actually welled up watching how excited and shocked they were. Great job Josh!!!!
So cute they chose items for each other 😭
This is one of the best things I've watched in a long time, both an amazing recipe and wholesome sibling content in a single video
it was so cute how both kids got each other gifts!
Josh + Food + kids + shopping = GENIUS!!!! Loved this video!!
I think this is the first episode I haven't heard Josh cuss. Its kid approved 😊 I like it the kids look so happy.
Or when they used to zoom in on his butt 😂😂 well done!
Definitely blessed those kids with great food and toys! Great video!Btw just wanted to thank you for the roll recipe from thanksgiving. It was a hit! Second to my brined and smoked turkey of course 😅
This is such a well produced video I feel like I just watched a Netflix special on fast food 🤘 amazing job
This is the best episode ever. Five stars. Josh, you're amazing.
See, a lot of people think that kids will just prefer the junk but they have a sense of taste too lol. Of course they'll go for Josh's because he didn't make overly fancy stuff, just good home cooked versions. It's a testament to putting in the effort even if you're not "elevating" the dish
This needs to be a series 🖤 wholesome af
more episodes with kids! they are so cute 🤩 also congrats on creating something kids actually like as they are usually very picky hehe
Best episode. Best part was the kids going on a shopping spree, and both of them saying they are getting something for each other. I wish me and my sister thought like that when we were little.
This was my favorite video yet. I was mildly interested but wanted to learn how to cook something my son might love, but I was blown away. From the recipe to the shopping spree this was a ton of fun to watch! I can’t wait to share this with my son and hopefully he’ll understand why “An Unapologetic Cookbook,” is always open in my kitchen.
The food was awesome, but the kids thinking about eachother during there shopping spree was priceless. Great video ✌💙😀
The kids were so adorable. I love Lela's freckles
I loved how the children were so excited to shop and thought about gifts for others 😍
they both were getting things for othert people too, so wholesome :D
This is by far my favorite episode, They was so awesome of you to take the kids to shop like that! You should involve them more!
Josh is so nice this is why I love his channel it makes me laugh and hes good with kids he would be a great father's
Layla knows her priorities 🤣😂 esp when she got a sonic plushie for her brother, she's already a legend
I like how he gives us the ingredients like i’m gonna make it
I ain’t making no buns.
Yall are missing out then... honestly it seems like a daunting task but these recipes are hilariously simple to make... especially bread/buns... yeah yeah it takes like an hour, ooh no and hour, but they will be hands down the best bread/buns you have ever eaten... don't be lazy, step out of your pre-made store bought comfort zone and try to make something, you won't regret it.
