    Sherwin!! No!!
Damn man. I grew up in San Bernardino and moved out to Indio in 2009 (wife). Those streets are a wreck. Glad to see you're safe. Good info for those of us that own a Tesla and especially a Model X Plaid. Maybe we can get the Plaids together and do lunch someday? Haha. Be safe man. Great video. Keep up the great work.

Ya, this was D St / Highland. That would be cool to have a Model X lunch. That parking lot would look so sick.

You can check the air pressure of each tire in the app: tap Controls, top right tap on psi icon. This will display the pressure and when it was measured last. The only way to get an updated measurement: “You may need to drive briefly before the visualization displays the tire pressure values. “

Thank you for sharing your experience. Did America's tire also put a foam liner in the replacement tire? While it definitely sucks to be out money for something as trivia as bad roads, it was somewhat lucky in how it happened, in that you weren't stranded anywhere and the damage was only on a consumable part vs. mechanical or body damage (which you never get back to OEM). I look at these situations in life now and think, maybe the pothole damage saved me from being stranded with kids at a bad time and bad place from the other tire with a nail, or worse what if it saved me from a tire blowout from non-attended to damage months from now that likely could have resulted in much worse :) Happy driving

Hi, the foam is part of the tire. The Continentals I got are the OEM ones so they include the foam inside. Yes, definitely could have been worse. As I learn things, I share and we can all learn together. We are going on a road trip soon and would have been bad if the problem showed up during the trip. So a fresh pair of rear tires. But it will be going into service tomorrow. Hope it's not too bad. Warranty should cover it.

If a public road, contact the city for a possible claim

You can also put a claim in with CalTrans as well if it happened on a state freeway. Just google claim/caltrans.

Sorry this happened to you Sherwinm I popped two passenger side on my model 3 and took photos of pot hole and send everything to city hall and they refused to pay. Even while I was waiting for the tow truck another cars tire popped. Ridiculous. Good luck on your claim

Oh man that sucks. Hopefully, it will get approved. They should at least fix it. I've heard other areas are in worse shape that people are covering the potholes themselves.
