Very cool collection! I had to Google aloe vera flowers...no idea what they looked like. I always have one at home that I like to keep for Burns and cuts. Never really thought of them as blooming plants. Though as someone who would live in Florida, I do see the appeal esp when in bloom.
I always keep some of the common aloe vera around for burns & such and have a couple of aloes that I've always referred to as "spider aloe" somewhat like your big box rescue which send up a flower stalk from time to time. I tend to ignore them (so I don't kill them) until I get a burn that needs tending.
Very nice collection! If I had the room, I've always wanted polyphylla! Theres so many nice ones. But I stick to basically the smaller types and hawthorias. My biggest is the aloe vera, it's such a beast no one will take anymore pups from me . Thanks for sharing
Lovely Aloes. I have a few but the most stricking at the moment are the arborescences. I have planted here and there in the ground and they have grown rapidly and are in bloom. The rosettes grew amazingly. I am showing one of them in my next video. I liked your 3 dollar hybrid, the patterning on the leaves id gorgeous together with the slight pink colouration.
WOW what an INCREDIBLE Aloe collection you have, you have so many Aloe beauties and a wonderful selection of them, I LOVED this video so much :-D and your Aloe bellatula is amazing with its grass like appearance, thanks a million for sharing your Aloe collection with us Todd, and sending you an abundance of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle to Florida for super Sunday XXXX
Hey Thanks Lyn!!! I really love aloe, just wish I could do a polyphylla, but they just don't like our humidity. Thanks for watching & a big happy growing from Tampa!
Aloe blooms appear to be similar to the Kniphofia, we call them red hit poker, beautiful all the same. Indoor plants for us in England and most probably Aleo Vera. Thanks for sharing Todd.
Really enjoyed seeing all the different varieties of aloes in your collection. I have several in my landscape here in s. FL. Are all of them used for medicinal purposes? Thanks. Always nice tot see the plants you have collected.
Love Paradise Found nursery! Always great specimens and good safe packaging.
BEAUTIFUL PLANTS CACTUS
Thanks!!!

Cool, just so you know not all aloe are medicinal, some species can be toxic. In general there's like four species considered "medicinal".😁👍

They're nice but difficult to grow.

That candelabra (spelling prob wrong)....would make a great option for aloe bonsai. Very 😎😎😎
Right on, I think any of the branching types will work. Aloe ramosissimum which now is
Aloidendron is great also but can be hard to find.

Only about four species are used medicinally, and some are even toxic I found out...
Very cool . I have a really pretty one that has tons of babies that I got last summer, I'll have to send you a baby from her!
I never say no to a new Aloe😁👍
Not sure if I included an A bellatula last time I sent plants, but I'll get one going for you... Quick grower too!

Nice collection Todd...
Catch you on the next one...

Very interesting. I think i need to be on the lookout now for the aborescens (sp?) Love that bloom.
Very good video!
Thanks!!!
It looks like aloe pink bush
Beats me, I can't keep track of hybrid names. And lucky anymore to recall species names lol.🤣🤣🤣
My "standard" aloe has not been fattening up the leaves. Thinking too hot the past few summers
Closer to around 600 species as of this comment (11.20.21)
I think you need Aloe polyphylla and Aloe bainesii (Aloidendron barberae).
A bainesii I want, A polyphylla is a no grow... Way too fussy!
What is the ne of the grass type aloe ?
It's Aloe bellatula.
I have the one that doesn't have a name
