Terry TPMS is very handy. I hope someday they will come up with a system that gives an instant read without having to ride the bike before it registers the pressure. Ride SAFE and BE safe! 👍👍
Ah but it's like that for a reason TTRGuy. The initial movement is to wake the system up. When the bike stops it shuts down to save the battery in each sensor, only coming back up when it is sure your riding the bike. It's a longevity thing 😉
I was thinking it should read F/R as well. When I get new tires fitted, I will get the TPMS and ask if they can choose F/R. I am betting they can. Never had a bike with a TPMS system, but it would be great to see how much work I'm putting into the tires based on the pressure rise. I will sometimes stop and bleed off a couple psi from the rear on a particularly sporting ride to bring the tire back to better grip/compliance.

I bet they can’t change it! It is handy to have, I’ve had a good few punctures over the last few years.
