If I wasn't in an FtD building funk right now, I'd already be working on something to fight the Davidos. The Drakenslang didn't last even two minutes. XD
With this array of my 425mm super fast rail assisted bolters it doesn't suprise me, but this thing is like 3x the cost of the drak, so any other outcome would be a shock 😂
Just started to build something even larger on twitch yesterday, at this point I will be no longer able to record that battle myself lol
If you ever wanna build this large when the funk is over, I'm sure we can convince zuzu to record such a battle for us however!
It is 3x the Gimle in cost, so please put it up against 3x Gimles

I find it hilarious that this ~6m material, 410-meter-long monster still manages to be faster than most of my battleships, which can only go around 20m/s on a good day.

The train cart gave me a cool idea! How about an ai compartment that moves around going to the least damaged part of the boat!
Yeah that kinda reminds me of a simpler but similar thing; this has a retractable bridge protecting the captain: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2932649401&searchtext=
The rotating armour is an approach too. If you build a turret with armour as a shell around the AI, you can turn the armour towards the enemy at all times
@@TheUpperHead You could probably also make rotating armor around a turret that slowly rotates around to spread out damage to more armor
Thus you can have more effective and efficient armour and not have the problem of centre of mass switching sides when the turrets rotate
@@joonalehtinen5462 rotating things are always a funny concept (such as the rotating pac ufo), but here I would imagine it might just cause harm. The weight problem can be solved with stone on the backside of the turrets
@@TheUpperHead well that stone will be dead weight with no armour or weaponry benefit
I'm very new to this game and don't know much, but learn alot watching you. I haven't even played the campaign yet, just building lol. How do you get the paint to look shiny and golden? I haven't figured it out

Wow, that would be crazy! However im pretty sure the sdavidos would win very hard, especially since the it lags too much to run with those fighters usually, but would be a fun try, perhaps I can try!

Must be nice to have a pc able to run massive creations, at least my laptop can run things a tenth to 8th the size with a fair bit of lag. (i am fine with my current laptop for now.)
It's very nice! I sat with my friends salvaged parts system until like January this year, and it could absolutely not have dealt with this beast lol, waiting for upgrades make them feel more profound!
