100% For a film reviewer to not even watch the entire thing is absurd, let alone talk about it without watching it all, let alone putting it on a worst-of-list. That is edge-lord level bs.
Ambulance imo deserves to be on here. I’m not biased towards Michael Bay and this film doesn’t hit Transformers 5 levels of bad, but it’s still a rather silly and and ridiculous film
I disagree on Ambulance (it was ok but not as bad as John made it out to be) and X (I liked Pearl much better, but still), but here is my list of the worst I've saw this year: 10. Firestarter 9. Amsterdam 8. Jurassic World Dominion 7. Disney's Pinocchio 6. Blonde 5. Morbius 4. Tall Girl 2 3. The Bubble 2. Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck Wild 1. 365 Days: This Day Some dishonorable mentions: Moonfall (fun in a so bad it's good kind of way), Senior Year, Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Blonde might have been one of the most boringness movies I saw all year. I was ready for it to be shit from the review but it was just boring. It was what everyone things an art house film is. It dull and clearly up its own ass. It doesn't take any new angle when dealing with Marilyn Monroe which makes it some how worse.
So three movies were on all 3 lists. They are Moonfall, Morbius and Disney's Pinocchio. Three movies that were on two of the three lists. They are Me Time (Rob and John), Firestarter (Rob and John) and The Bubble (Kris and Rob).
X is my 3rd favorite of the year. ☹️ My list goes as such 5. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4. The Lost City 3. Jurassic World: Dominion 2. Man from Toronto 1. Halloween Ends
I am glad to see that someone agrees with me on X. I have notice in the past few years that I'll watch highly praised sci-fi and horrors movies only to be let down by how dull and unfocused they are. I would add to this list: Annihilation, Gatlopp (a rare film that I didn't even finish watching), The Light House (the most disappointing since everything was great except for the fact that there was no plot to follow), Dashcam and Deadstream.
To those in the comments. Johns not a critic. He says this often. Very often. If he called himself a journalist and/or critic I'd agree with some of yall. But this is just his opinion as a regular person. Not critic or journalist. And he has said he's not into horror so much. Or slashers. So him saying this isn't surprising. Anwwho, point is. I see this time and time again. People don't seem to grasp what John is as a content creator. He's just a dude who likes film, television, and pop culture. That's it. Not journalist or critic.
For once, I have to disagree with John....X is a good movie and how can you put any film in a top 10 without finishing it? I also really enjoyed Ambulance, definitely far more worse films out there this year....The Munsters for example. Ps. Northman i hated... sorry found it sooo boring and slow 🙈, he'll definitely have that in the best top 10.
Glad to see someone on the same boat as me with The Northman. The endgame and payoff was terrible and made the whole damn film fall apart, making it a waste of time 😒. I did thought they did a terrific job recreating the settings and being close to the Nordic mythology, but the revenge story that the character of Amleth set out to do was all for freaking nothing, and to me, that's what I really despised the most about the movie. Really disappointed in Robert Eggers who I thought did a spectacular work in The Witch, and really upset at how he gave no use and wasted Anya Taylor-Joy's character in the story. Only serving as the "love interest" archetype, with no depth in her relationship with Amleth
@@Merdicano 100% agree, i reviewed the film saying it looks impressive, great designs and set pieces, appreciate the style but I fell asleep twice during the movie....and that's never happened. And felt nothing for the lead character 🙄
@@jayzee6196 I actually didn't fell at any moment in the movie, ironically speaking 😅. But everything you described is what I felt. But at the end of the day, I feel happy and relieved with myself about having the ability of not liking a movie that the majority does.
My favorite moment in Ambulance is the COMPLETELY unnecessary shot where the drone flies up the side of a building, arches, and then comes down the other side. I feel sorry for Matt Smith because his career in Hollywood seems to be a non-starter. I really like him too.

Olivia Wilde is overrated, both as an actress and director. One excellent film does not merit the hype and praise. Learn from the M. Knight mistake. Then the controversy overshadowed the work, which isnt the first time she's been a distraction for a project.
Completely agree about Ambulance, that movie is TERRIBLE, and it baffles me that some people have it in their Top 10 of the year. The action has no valleys, it’s constantly peaking (I’ve always said it’s a poor man’s Speed), the comedy isn’t funny at all (yet Michael Bay think’s its hilarious to reference his own movies), and Bay insists on being stuck in the 90s with his female characters. No ambulance paramedic should be glammed up that much, it’s like he can’t have a normal looking woman in any of his movies. Oh yeah, and the drone shots are tiresome and have no narrative purpose, it’s just a guy getting excited with his new tech. It’s utterly distracting. Garbage film from beginning to end.
You should go back and at least watch the kill scenes from X, not judging your reasoning, but not seeing the best parts definitely skews its inclusion in your favor for this list. There were certainly a lot more deserving shitty movies this year to choose from.
@@gaeron1305 I thought it was about an hour too long, with not enough of a plot to drive it forward. And a lot of the acting was weak. I didn't hate it, its a 4/10, below average. John lost me at X, Ortega Murphy Henderson n Goth bring it. Today not fair. I love John but not watching this video any further...im kidding its totally ok for someone to not like what John liked. For eg :I hate Shang Chi
Well, I can't say if it's a good thing or not that I didn't ended up watching several of these movies this year because who knows if I might caught them in the future 😂, even because I haven't gone to the movies as I used to. But I'm on the same field as John about how all movies are subjective and that's a great and positive thing. For me, the one movie I've seen this year that proves that thought and it's with all due respect, not a bad movie, but one I didn't not liked at all is The Northman. Really not sorry, but the whole movie was a waste of time 😒. The endgame and payoff reveal about who the real evil mastermind that set-up the death of Amleth's father was so damn awful and took away all meaning as to why he set out for his quest of revenge in the first place. That to me made the movie fall completely apart. I did thought they did a terrific job recreating the settings and being close to the Nordic mythology, but the revenge story that the character of Amleth set out to do was all for freaking nothing, and to me, that's what I really despised the most about the movie. And while I don't think Alexander Skarsgård did a bad performance acting wise, I really felt that Amleth lacked more personality, and a third-dimension instead of always appearing like a broken record saying the same thing about his revenge. Really disappointed in Robert Eggers, who I thought did a spectacular work in The Witch, and I was really upset at how he gave no use and wasted Anya Taylor-Joy's character in the story. Only serving as the "love interest" archetype, with no depth in her relationship with Amleth, and her reveal of being a sorceress serve no use to the story whatsoever. That's only my take, you guys have a great one 👍🏻
Dude listen as a fan of X I’m not gunna tell you to not say it deserves to be your worst like you have your opinion but you didn’t even finish it for that you can’t say it’s your 10th worst
Moonfall was the most wonderful TERRIBLE movie of the year!!!!!!!! It was so bad I had to finish to the end. So bad it was funny. So bad, it was entertainingly good!!!! I honestly forgot about Moonfall and that night I watched it, but the joy and laughter this memory brought me. Moonfall.....-10/10 Amazing
I still have some 2022 movies to watch, but currently these are my worst films of the year: 1. The Invitation 2. Prey for the Devil 3. White Noise 4. Bodies Bodies Bodies 5. Moonfall 6. Black Adam 7. DC League of Super Pets 8. Uncharted 9. 3,000 Years of Longing 10. Where The Crawdads Sing
Ambulance was a good movie if u know what ur getting. Action and explosions, it’s Michael bay. That being said I really enjoyed it. Also thank you for putting X on there, horrible movie. Only reason I watched it because of the 97% on Rotten, after 30 min I turned it off.
My worst: 1. Secrets of Dumbledore- How this terrible thing was spawned from the first film is a mystery. None of it makes any sense. 2. Smile- Bad "It Follows"/ "Ring" knockoff that was so predictable you could call how it ends after the first ten minutes. 3. Everything, Everywhere All at Once- Biggest disappointment after seeing so many rave reviews. Do not get the love at all. Done to death multiverse thing with bad martial arts and an incomprehensible plot, and the parts that made sense were trite. 4. The 355- Very bad female spy movie that thinks just having women star in these films is some kind of plus just because. 5. Amsterdam- Biggest waste of talent movie of the year. None of it worked, boring and all for a "plot message" that is outdated and overdone. 6. Last seen Alive- Terrible "Breakdown" missing wife movie that hinges on an idiot plot based on complete coincidence. (he gets into the bad guys compound only because a guards walkie talkie magically does not work, and of course there is no cell service in 2022)
Moonfall is the most entertaining movie I have ever seen by percentage of runtime. There's so much dumb stuff happening nonstop that I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, I can't remember any other movie that kept me fully engaged from start to finish.
A lot of campeas sheep in the comments agreeing with him that X was bad lol oooookk. Literally the first time I've heard people say the movie is bad is this video
@@Jamal-zt8rz so you don't understand the concept of subjectivity. I get it. Lol. My Top 10 Worst Movies of 2022: 1. Halloween Ends 2. Disney's Pinocchio (2022) 3. Morbius 4. Deep Water 5. Jurassic World Dominion 6. The Gray Man 7. The King's Man 8. Lightyear 9. Blonde 10. Men
Hey John i also didnt love 'X' it wasnt terrible but it wasnt great either but the prequel 'Pearl' (although not really a prequel) i thought was brilliant, Mia Goth is sensational, u should defintely check it out John!
Moonfall is my #1 worst. Never been so annoyed, pissed off, bad decision making and twist was stupid. Only reason i stayed was girlfriend wanted to stay and watch the rest.
I don’t try and see everything like I used to. Typically if I hear a movie is shit from enough people, I just don’t see it. I was meh on a lot of movies this year and only had truly negative feelings about 2. Morbius was absolute shit. I was at least hoping it would have the same goofy energy venom had, and be so bad it’s good. Worst picture of the year EASILY is Halloween Ends. I original Halloween is my all time favorite horror movie, and I’ve never particularly loved any of its sequels. Halloween 2018 to me is the definitive Halloween sequel, and honestly I was cool with them closing the book with the ending of that movie. When they announced that there would be a trilogy I rolled my eyes, but had so much fun with H18 that I was down to see what else this team could to. I was shocked how much I enjoyed Kills. I truly think Kills is one of the best straight up slasher movies of the 21st century. Then we get Ends. A convoluted piece of shit that in THE 4TH MOVIE that’s supposed to be a finale hitches itself to an unlikable protagonist who’s turn to evil was boring and predictable. Kills promised the final showdown between Laurie and Michael. When it ended it felt like a part 1 of 2 situation, which I was fine with as long as ends delivered. The ending to Ends could’ve just been tacked on to Kills. The final showdown was nice at the end but it felt like it was a different movie. Dog shit
There’s this one woman who’s a huge Harry Styles fan and she thought Don’t Worry Darling is the greatest movie she’s seen just cuz Harry is in it. I like Harry myself and he’s actually a decent actor but the movie sucked
I'm actually a defender of the 2015 "Fantastic Four" film. Overall, the film is BORING but I like the performances and the ones I LOVED the most were that of Miles Teller, Micheal B. Jordan, and Reg E. Cathy
I'm half-Filipino and have watched most of Jokoy's stand-up specials on Netflix. I didn't even know he'd put a movie out this year. From what John's said, I think I'll stick with the Netflix specials.
You should’ve finished X before ranking it
If a film makes you not want to bother finishing it in the first half, I think it's completely fair.
I shouldn’t have to sit through over a hour for a film to get good lol
It's insane how two of his choices are in my top five of the year. X & Ambulance are fantastic.

Ambulance was the 2nd best movie of the year for me.. You're tripping so much damn fun
I was hoping to see Black Adam on this list… it’s a miss not including it
Justice for Ambulance! That was a pretty good film. 😂
Rightttt only the ending sucked 🤦🏽♂️
X is one of the best horror movies of the year. Many people have it on their best list of the year.
I liked it and even liked Pearl. Thought it was more artsy and tad satirical of early Hollywood
@@LSPalm Pearl was great too. Looking forward to Maxxxine, the third movie in the series.
AVI ARAD ruined MORBIUS
And now he's gonna ruin BORDERLANDS and KRAVEN THE HUNTER
The same way he ruined TASM2 and UNCHARTED
Dude listen as a fan of X I’m not gunna tell you to not say it deserves to be your worst like you have your opinion but you didn’t even finish it for that you can’t say it’s your 10th worst
He shouldn't have even been commenting other than if asked directly about it, that he is a prude who isn't able to appreciate it so he stopped.
Hot take indeed. I LOVED X and it's in my top 10 along with the prequel Pearl, but each to thier own of course
Where is Thor love and thunder you hack
That killed it for Thor for me was done
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone in the Campea Community.
And to you too Isaac!
Of course Me Time is not funny, Kevin Hart's in it!!! LOL
X huh?
I feel like this list should be called top 10 mainstream films that I was excited for but disappointed me
Moonfall was the most wonderful TERRIBLE movie of the year!!!!!!!! It was so bad I had to finish to the end. So bad it was funny. So bad, it was entertainingly good!!!! I honestly forgot about Moonfall and that night I watched it, but the joy and laughter this memory brought me.
Moonfall.....-10/10 Amazing
I still have some 2022 movies to watch, but currently these are my worst films of the year:
1. The Invitation
2. Prey for the Devil
3. White Noise
4. Bodies Bodies Bodies
5. Moonfall
6. Black Adam
7. DC League of Super Pets
8. Uncharted
9. 3,000 Years of Longing
10. Where The Crawdads Sing
“X” was definitely over hyped going in for me but I did like the film. Overall great worst list and can’t wait for best list.
X shouldn't be here.
For me the worst were Halloween Ends BY FAAAAAR, Men, and Morbius
Jo Koy? Now things are making sense
What tell John fines out all of Halloween movies aren't about Mike Myers.
Ambulance was a good movie if u know what ur getting. Action and explosions, it’s Michael bay. That being said I really enjoyed it. Also thank you for putting X on there, horrible movie. Only reason I watched it because of the 97% on Rotten, after 30 min I turned it off.
"I [Matt] honestly didn't know what movie we were making... [Campea] and I'm sitting like I don't even know what movie I'm watching!" 🤣😅
My worst:
(he gets into the bad guys compound only because a guards walkie talkie magically does not work, and of course there is no cell service in 2022)
Ambulance is a top 3 movie of the year
X was great and Pearl was also. Ambulance was a fun action movie.
Jo Koy's Easter Sunday was a total DISAPPOINTMENT.
I can see me time not being funny
I like them as actors
They are funny but only a certain way of funny
Moonfall is the most entertaining movie I have ever seen by percentage of runtime. There's so much dumb stuff happening nonstop that I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, I can't remember any other movie that kept me fully engaged from start to finish.
I haven’t seen enough “worst” films this year but my Top 3 are definitely Morbius, Disney’s Pinocchio and Desp Water, in that order.
I don’t agree about X or about Ambulance. X and Pearl are both in my top 10 of the year. and ambulance isn’t in my top, but I thoroughly enjoyed it
A lot of campeas sheep in the comments agreeing with him that X was bad lol oooookk. Literally the first time I've heard people say the movie is bad is this video
And didn't even finish the movie either. Goofball behavior
@@Jamal-zt8rz campea sheep? lol. opinions and subjectivity
@@MoviesAndTvShowsAreSubjective yeah you read that correctly
@@Jamal-zt8rz so you don't understand the concept of subjectivity. I get it. Lol.
If you love X then its your opinion and nothing is wrong with that and if someone hate X or any other movie or show that you love or vice versa then that is their subjective opinion and nothing is wrong with that either
@@MoviesAndTvShowsAreSubjective cool bro
Bruh really ambulance? I enjoy that movie plus a good Michael Bay since 13 hours
hi john: here's mine 5. THOR: love & thunder, 4, halloween ends, 3. amsterdam, 2. JURASSIC WORLD: dominion, 1. firestarter
Loooool how can you have X in the worst movies of the year list lol
He walked out cause he didn’t like it at all, so it makes his #10.
Because it's HIS list
My Top 10 Worst Movies of 2022:
1. Halloween Ends
2. Disney's Pinocchio (2022)
3. Morbius
4. Deep Water
5. Jurassic World Dominion
6. The Gray Man
7. The King's Man
8. Lightyear
9. Blonde
10. Men
More people should have shared our misery for Deep Water. Good God what a painful experience.
@@tcjv1991 Yep.
John walking out at the halfway point of X before the Landslide sequence is a bummer 😫
It does take a while to get cooking but oh boy once it does…..
Dog shit
Easter Sunday .. the 355? .. I literally never heard of these movies, must be awful.
There’s this one woman who’s a huge Harry Styles fan and she thought Don’t Worry Darling is the greatest movie she’s seen just cuz Harry is in it. I like Harry myself and he’s actually a decent actor but the movie sucked
Has anyone seen the film "Fatherhood"?
I'm actually a defender of the 2015 "Fantastic Four" film. Overall, the film is BORING but I like the performances and the ones I LOVED the most were that of Miles Teller, Micheal B. Jordan, and Reg E. Cathy
is this from a longer video or podcast episode?
Morbius is nowhere near as bad as you guys make it out to be
do i watch glass onion or bardo rn?
I'm half-Filipino and have watched most of Jokoy's stand-up specials on Netflix. I didn't even know he'd put a movie out this year. From what John's said, I think I'll stick with the Netflix specials.
