Jay I know you and John had QC issues with your Hasbro D&D figures but, I on the other hand had absolutely no issues with all my Hasbro D&D figures and they are proudly on display at home!!! No missing parts or weapons and all their joints were fine no sticking or broken arms legs or hands. I think the Super 7 look awesome and I Pre ordered Hank and Sheila even though I do not like the price.
I think i prefer the Hasbro sculpts honestly, however in Europe we have not yet received any large discounts on Hasbro's D&D figures so people might be more willing to give these a try. The Ross stores dont exist here so these still retail for around the £25-27 per figure mark.

Definitely getting them all x 2 as usual. I wanted Super7 to have the license from the jump.
I remember the statuettes that released a few years back and the likeness was so spot on. I really hope these become pretty close.
The Hasbro figures cut too many corners on quality. Also they didn't do Diana correctly. I think Super7 is the best home for it.
Diana i thought looked fine, it was Eric that had a dodgy face sculpt.

I saw Veebs from Robo Don’t Know interview with the guy from S7, and the Ollie’s/Ross topic came up. He echoed what Jay was saying, toy companies have learned their lessons about certain IPs and just the industry in general, and the quantities that will be produced in 2024 are going to be much lower. The goal is to have every item sell out, so don’t hold out for clearance as a buying strategy.
Easy purchase. Love the look of these. Hasbro ones will be sold for whatever price I can get
So far their GIJOE Ultimates have been good outside the issue of two from Wave 2 missing the face paint but Wave 3 is amazing so I’m down for these. Also, they could do a Super Cyborg style Tiamat or something like their large scale ones like the Peanuts ones. This is honestly great news.
Another animated series from back in the day I love and miss, King Arthur and The Knights of Justice, it had a D&D esk situation. I'm thankful Hasbro didn't get their hands on that line. Their very short lived toy line was based off MOTU
Sorry to bombard, I'm commenting as the video goes and I feel like I'm in the chat. Haha. I'm all in on this first wave, or close.
I def think its an interesting development. Between this, the O-Ring Joes, and their Power Rangers Ultimates being sold on Pulse, it almost seems like S7 is becoming like a priority partner for Hasbro in fulfilling collector oriented lines, while core Hasbro outside of Transformers/Classified does its mainstream "support the movie" thing.
I’m all in for this hope they get to deep cut charcters I’m buying them all variants exclusive every single figure
At $55 I’ll most likely just save up for Hank, especially since this version seems to be able to actually be posed pulling back on the bow “string”.
Maybe a guest might drop an F Bomb “ Hatter” 😂😂
If these look awesome then of course it's a good thing 🤷🏻♂️. Also on the human face subject, just gotta say, the Notorious BIG Ultimate face looks awesome. One of my absolute favorite figures. Must buy for hip hop heads ✊🏽
You wait decades for a DnD Cartoon toy line then two come along at once.
Super7 has been painting faces correctly ever since the backlash on GI Joe Ultimates Wave 2, that's when they finally heard and understood the problem. I think going forward they will be good, at least the animated faces.
Dungeons and Dragons figures, highly articulated *whisperwhisper* ok, somewhat articulated at the low low price of *whisperwhisper* sure, fine, at the hefty price of 55$ plus shipping! Get them now *whisperwhisper* god damn it, fine, order them now, get them in a year! (these are interesting, not gonna lie, but the S7 price point just doesn't work for me for most of their offerings)

Too soon imo. I just bought a set (at retail). Not rebuying the set at the crazy prices they’re asking.
They should of just did the villains. If these sell and people see they suck, the next wave wont get made. Meaning you only get this wave. And hasbro wants to be everything but a toy company, they literally got slow ass s7 making their stuff. And i come to terms the 80s kenner rgb is the only rgb we will get. No origins or ultimates style will come to us.
If Super7 would do these in 3.75" O-ring style, I would be all over them.
Sorry but I’ll take Hasbros offering over super7’s any day of the week. $25 compared to $55. And lately $10-15 compared to 55. Same if not less articulation. No thank you s7.
Lesser of two evils?
Even $25 for the Hasbro figures were overpriced - animation figures have less details and all the QC issues. They should be at $12 to $15 price point similar to the cheaper versions of the Hasbro Spiderverse figures.
$25 and $55 are both overpriced for me. The demands might still be there just because the fans haven’t gotten toys from this IP.
Can't wait for these! I had some problems w/ the Hasbro figs and just ended up buying extras at good ole Ollie's for like $4-$5 during their recent sale (still need that Chris Pine D&D movie fig, grrrrr). So I guess in a weird way that sorted that out for me. So now I am ready to move on down the line to Super7.
I really like their stuff and after getting a bad B.A.T. fig, they were quick fast to replace it. Those guys at the store level and warehouse are gr8.
These will end up going a decent bit and I'm hoping for ALL the stuff we didn't get w/ HasLame. Bring it on, Supes!!!
Fortress of Fangs is pimp stuff. Heck, the whole LJN line is baller. Re-release 'em all, baby!

It does feel like it's too soon. I completed Hasbro's releases for about $9 each. I've already pre-ordered these because I am primarily a Super7 customer and these will scale with the majority of my collection. With the Hasbro ones still being available at "bargain basement pricing" I fear these not hitting MOQ.
yay boo just what we need another company making the same versions of figures someone else is already doing. Super7 needs to make something like Captain Planet or Bionic6 or C.O.P.S. which Nobody is making something fresh and New not another Remake wtf are these toy companies doing.
Im sure plenty of suckers will buy them but im not one of them .
Style wise, Super 7 figures have the less detail; so, it works for animation characters. But they are just overpriced at $55.
Everything is against this line especially the shitty single joints. Its literally the hasbro ones with prob less to break joints. And they are bare bones for top dollar. Easy flop
Same here, I could see getting things like Rita Repulsa with the fabric costume to scale with the Rangers, but these are cartoony regardless which line you get, so not worth the price.
2nd video I’ve seen and it’s you whining again 😅
