I saw the new movie weeks ago and I really enjoyed it and I don't care what the critics say or what very low score they gave, they're just a bunch of uneducated a**holes f***ing a book. It's a 9.5/10. It also gives me 'The Real Ghostbusters' vibes, which is pretty amazing. The only problem with the movie for me is Walter Peck. Like how the hell did d*ckless got voted for Mayor? But William Atherton is still amazing as Peck. They could've added something more for him like he deserved to get slimed by Slimer. But other than that, I really enjoyed this movie.

Loved it, took my kids in 4dx and it was a great time

My issues with it are. Too many characters. Some of the stuff in the trailers I really liked wasn't in the film. And I felt like the final battle went by so quickly. I was hoping to see the busters out in the frozen city just a little bit. Or the roof scene with Paul Rudd from the trailer. Other than that I'm ok with it. Definitely gonna watch it again! I'll be picking up the 4K to add to my collection! I hope we get another film in a few years.

Frozen Empire has parallels to GB2. I loved the GB2 villain Vigo. it always starts with the child in every horror movie. GB2 has the feeling of oncoming dredd and doom which I really appreciated. We didn’t get that in afterlife and we did get a hint of it in FE. My favorite “oh crap” scene is when the mayor looked out the window and saw the sun get swallowed up. That’s when we knew it was serious! Here’s my ultimate ghostbusters dream…. James Wan the director of the conjuring does Ghostbusters. I want more horror and creeps. However, I know in order to keep the franchise alive they need to make it appeal to parents who wouldn’t mind taking their little kids. Imagine if Ray, Podcast and Lars were investigating a haunted house somewhere in Connecticut where the family was demonically possessed, and each room they went into was a portal into another house/dimension. The whole movie is them trying to escape and free the soul of a little girl using the little bit of tech they brought with them. I want jump scares and the feeling of hopelessness, sprinkled with dry comedy. That’s my dream!

Films such as Frozen Empire and Answer the Call make me wonder - how bad does a Ghostbusters movie have to be before fans accept that it's bad? It's apparent that the studio can make a turd, but as long it's decorated with the Ghostbusters brand, some fans will think it's wonderful.

As a fan it pains me to say this but I have to be honest - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a bad movie. The film is total a mess. It's boring, poorly paced, confusing, convoluted and overly complicated. There are far too many characters, some of which have been needlessly shoehorned into the story. It's overstuffed with unnecessary dialogue, dull subplots, pointless characters and scenes which go on for far too long. It's not funny either. I didn't laugh once during the movie, and neither did the audience I was watching it with. Neither is it frightening. Laughs and scares are the two things you expect from a Ghostbusters film but this film is completely devoid of any. Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan may be talented directors, but they're the wrong people to be writing Ghostbusters films. Afterlife was mediocre at best, but Frozen Empire is just plain bad. With a heavy heart, I rate this film 3 out of 10. I feel a lot of fans are in denial about just how bad this film is.

Crittiics are on point with this one, sorry. This comes off as a student film with a big budget. Nothing worked. Frozen Empire was the most contrived film I've ever seen.

As a franchise movie I will award it 7/10. But I expect an extended Blu-Ray with 15 extra minutes might make it up to 7.5 or even an 8.

The critics are mostly correct on this one. How many ghosts were caught in this movie that was supposed to be this casts first chance to show Thor stuff? This is an episode from the TV show not a real movie. Lucky and Podcast are great but how they got to NYC was dumb. The parents all of a sudden becoming geniuses working on the equipment and busting ghosts wasn't well tought out. Scenes in the trailers once again weren't in the movie. Plus the movie was so slow paced.

This was a great ghostbuster movie, what the hell do reviewers want?

I liked it better than Afterlife. Funnier, scarier, the climax could have used some work though. I think it's my second favorite GB film.

I don't know ANY of the characters, there was ZERO character development, where's louis tully? wheres ghost hunting montage + music (gb2) where's looking up ghost lore on computers?? venkmin comes in at the VERY end? the film should just be the old crew and phoebe/podcast as the trainees on the side. NORMALLY I don’t care a lick about what critics say but in this case I don’t totally understand how the audience score is so high. This movie has quite a few glaring problems.

The only thing sadder than the Frozen empire pile of dogshit is the fact that the delusional clown that took the time to make this video has the right to vote.

Enjoyed it! Was a fun movie that I even enjoyed more upon the second viewing. People are being way too critical and seem to be jumping on a hate band wagon against it instead of just sitting back and enjoying the ride. Aykroyd and Hudson still show that their passion is strong for this franchise.

I don't know where those critics came up with the notion that this movie was a so-called "cut and paste" copy of the original, because apart from a few elements of fan service, it was vastly different to the original movie. I really liked the movie, even, and probably especially, because of the Phoebe/Harmony friendship. I was sad when she passed on at the end of the movie, I would have loved to see her as a ghostly ally against other ghosts in future movies. That British actor, James Acaster, he has a dark sense of humour. He hosts his own show called Hypothetical, and his time on Taskmaster was hilarious. I could imagine him coming up wit the Grandfather ghaunted Grandfather Clock on his Hypothetical show too. Here in New Zealand, we did not have that Tarot trailer before the movie, we just had Kong/Godzilla and a local movie called The Boy And The Mountain. My local theatre does not have the merchandise that yours has, so I've never had a chance to get any of those popcorn buckets, but they all sound amazing. I really enjoyed the movie, there were some jokes and humorous situations near the start of the movie that I got a chuckle out of, that not many other people got. I never found it boring, or overly stuffed, I thought that the pacing was really quite good, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

Second best movie in the franchise

I don’t think it is very good. Too many characters that serve no purpose. Abandoned sub plots that do nothing for the overall story. Uninteresting exposition, and actors that look bored to be in the movie.
